  1. the moment the game releases and the DLC cycles are out, it's taken out of his hands. if it shows up on PC it'll be a hackjob port similar to first-release FFXIII PC.
  2. Aya can legit find a compliment about anyone on this forum.
  3. I RP as a character that: - literally has the Mime job. - has a brother who has the Echo. - isn't even from anywhere canonically IC. - is pansexual. - is essentially overly competent for his age, with a recorded solo IC kill of a Demon Tome as well as other feats of equal strength and stupidity. and I still somehow get RP. I'm sure you'll be fine! Rah rah! -
  4. "Have you finished your prayers? They're preparing the halls for a Bonding ceremony." This was not an entirely new sight, but ever since the restoration of the Sanctum and its return to celebrating Eternal Bond ceremonies, their time within the actual sanctum always fell short. Sylvie had never been "reduced" to living in the Shroud - It was her home, and all she had ever known, much like her father, and her grandfather and her great grandfather before her. All had been branded criminals, poachers or worse for simply not being Gridanian. Yet the Noirets had endured, partially through thick familial ties, but mostly due to the strict application of their own tenets of virtue which could cause even the most zealous of Wood Wailers to hesitate in seriously tracking them down. Couple with the fact that they mostly lived in the East and South Shroud, areas which are less patrolled due to the Sylphs' lesser danger in comparison to the Ixal, and where bigger fish to fry tread - the Coeurlclaw poachers, who are a far bigger danger than what is merely known, these days, as a bunch of crazies throughout the generations. "Nay, father - Allow me one last prayer to Azeyma before we set off. I fear without her guidance, it will not be her tears I shed, but mine." said the kneeling daughter. Hands clasped, she closed her eyes. "If you are to bear the Tears, your eyes should never close. How can you seek the truth if you avert your eyes?" her father responded. Sylvie audibly gulped, and slowly opened her eyes, maintaining her position. Each word was carefully mouthed. Her breathing was regular, with an errant twitch within its rhythm. She thought of the injustice her family suffered, and immediately felt her knuckles turn paler. Her father ignored the young girl's rage - It reminded him of his own youth, when his mother sought to console him as offered a prayer to Althyk, that the time of Gelmorra was returned to him. He gently caressed his mythril hatchet - a greatly diminished tool compared to the deity's greatax, but one that allowed him precise collection and clearing of runaway branches that blocked the hidden paths they often took through the Shroud. Paths forgotten to most, yet that were fresh in the Noirets' mind. It fit his daughter's resolve and ideals that she chose permanent tattoos on her face instead of a golden fan, or anything material. It was the first moment where he felt that he had raised her right. Everything had prepared to the moment where she would face the Twelve, and find her path in life. None of the Noirets had chosen Azeyma in quite some time - Menphina, Oschon were common choices, as well as Althyk due to the duty of memory. She stood up, he nodded, they left. Outside, a duskwight woman radiating elegance in pauper clothes waited diligently, discussing with one of the many attendants about life at the Sanctum, while exchanging good spots for flowers. Seeing her husband and her daughter exit the sanctum, she gently excused herself, and went to meet with her family. "Are we ready to leave?" "Yes, I believe we are. Though I fear our daughter has something else on her mind..." Sylvie nodded. A heavy breath took over her body. "Mother, father. It is time I forge my path - I bear the Tears of Azeyma, I have received every boon you have granted me. How to live with the land from you, mother, and how to live a virtuous life from you, father. While I prayed that the Tears are all I would shed, my own are still falling. I... I..." her body remained composed - her tears fell, and yet she did not hold them back. Her sadness was genuine, and a commitment to the truth also meant letting her emotions get the better of her in such moments. Words were no longer welcome - mother and father joined to embrace their daughter, who sought only to stand bravely in front of her parents. After hearing an attendant warning them that the ceremony's guests had been sighted on their way, all let go. "Sylvie, always remember - Our nobility never came from a title, or a deed. It has always been ours from our staunch adherence to the Noiret creed of virtue above all. Remember that, and I know you will do well in all things. You will always have a family, and thanks to the paths you followed us on, you will always know where to find us." "Sylvie, always remember to honor anything you take from nature, even outside of the Shroud. A noble's responsibilities do not stop outside of their domain, and neither does our responsibility to all living things. Now, come with us to the cache, that we may at least outfit you with proper armor and regalia." Sylvie blushed - Even without a proper house, she once again felt like the most pampered girl of the Black Shroud. And she loved her parents for it.
  5. Kell first learned the axe as an actual tool for combat from the Marauder Guild - However, the only time he'd used an axe before was essentially to slaughter cattle. There's elements of that in his style, especially versus monsters who share some physical traits with farm animals. If he can, he'll throw himself in the mix to protect others and with the axe being a weapon that has some reach, it allows him to do so quite nicely. Of course, that's not going into his unarmed combat style which differs based on which art he is concentrating on developing. And, of course, that's not going into his, as of yet untapped, unusual skill.
  6. he's got nothing on FIGHTER who finds a rat tail and becomes a KNIGHT anyway, y'all are puppets who buy collectors editions whens rudra remake
  7. Kinda miffed they gave the AST weapon a name that's more iconic of Ogre Battle, but it's to be expected considering there's only so much mythology you can pick from. Especially after the Tactics Ogre Valerian gear. OH WAIT. BTW : - New step can be grinded for prior to completing previous step. - Crystal Tower Weekly (aka Carbontwerk) is 300 Poetics Min., 450 with bonus, aka almost one Unidentified Bone/Unidentified Shell - It'll take either of : 5 weeks of Carbontwerking, 5x1800 Esoterics or a combination of the two to complete this step.
  8. you think kh3 is actually going to come out that's adorable I'd be happy if it didn't to be honest, although so long as Nomura's leading it it's never coming out.
  9. i will buy it on xboner and NO ONE WILL STOP ME. (yes i have a PS4, no i don't give a shit)
  10. GIRL LOOK AT DAT BODY GIRL LOOK AT DAT BODY GIRL LOOK AT DAT BODY YOU'RE CONFUSED aka kell can't mechanics vs. Calcabrina.
  11. There will be much squeeing and educating through excited shouts those who do not realize how much of a Big Deal this person is!
  12. Kell has no idea of who's famous unless they're NPCs. So, uh, dunno.
  13. Even getting 1-2 people is difficult - I also have zero patience. I blame tank queues.
  14. Both in PF and on the LSes I frequent, it's hell getting a group for those.
  15. That QoL is cool. That Treasure Dungeon thing sounds cool but you won't get anyone to do them two weeks in once they realize the rewards suck ass. (see Diadem, The)
  16. Summons a storm to carry it around to places.
  17. Considering that unless a new rotation development has happened (I wouldn't know because I absolutely hate the scrips system so I essentially stopped doing any work towards that), most of the known crafters avoid Specialist actions like the plague because they're too random (and that's considering the fact that, well, the whole crafting system is essentially X-Com level of fuckery at higher levels). Also, I'd have liked it if they actually answered the question instead of just saying "we're raising iLevel cap in 3.3 kthxbye"
  18. I blame that atrocity on the Homunculi. That is the only track I can genuinely think of that they could have composed and has this universal appeal enough to make them as popular as they are said to be in the game.
  19. That's the problem - Those of us who did it did it 6 months ago at the very least. EDIT: I dug up the journal entry. "Midnight Dew is willing but unable to help, as Hatchling went missing in an area of the Ruling Quarter untraveled by Idyllshire's inhabitants. However, a wandering goblin trader has been known to pass through there. He can be persuaded to help should you deliver to him three chunks of high-quality adamantite ore. This, Midnight Dew informs you, can be mined in Azys Lla - though she herself has never heard of it, and doubts it exists at all." So, Midnight Dew is the one who informs you that Adamantite can be found there. They know of the Azys Lla name, but do not know if it actually exists. Chances are, they've confirmed it exists during MSQ.
  20. IIRC they do not mention Azys Lla before you actually go there to get the material (or buy it off the AH). I'll check my completed quests journal when I get home.
  21. I'd feel safe making the assumption that many of the people in Idyllshire know of it. Reason: the 3.0 relic quest 60 MIN quest has you go there to get Adamantite and you casually namedrop Azys Lla to the goblin. Also, most of the crafting quests know that there's a new vein of Adamantite somewhere.
  22. I do have a couple: Kellach: Adventurer accuses Sharlayan of Void Worshipping Masked man repels bandit attack on trade caravan: "Not news, this is actually my job." Strange man found frostbitten naked in Coerthas: "I didn't think it was that cold." Sylvie: Duskwight woman to be executed over murders of 10 Wood Wailers Sanctum of the Twelve under investigation for harboring families of poachers Sasati: Pacification of the North Shroud leaves Padjals confused Amal'jaa tribe routed, crystals recovered by mysterious benefactor Twelve's Tutelage - School for Eorzean orphans opens doors
