Yeah, these are definitely more shunned (I'd go ahead and say a lot of peeps don't approve of the idea). Else we wouldn't have the option to even bind to same-sex.

Unfortunately I can't think of any RP group that specifically concentrates on LGBT storylines. A lot of us play LGBT characters embedded in regular groups and typically weave themes in there. Eorzea is a lot more accepting of these things than other fictional universes. These themes'll show up in more light-hearted functions (e.g. - same-sex bonding) than anything else. If that's what you're looking for then I'd just start looking for a regular group and then ask around if they've a reputation for being dicks to LGBT. The group I'm currently a part of is obviously not adverse to the LGBT, considering the amount of same-sex relationships we have in there.

I don't. I actually have 8 characters on Balmung at this point in time, and most of them with a backstory. This game's chat system essentially makes it fucking impossible (LSes not shared between characters, 128 characters only in a LS, etc.) to do so unless I plan everything in advance and I literally am not good at that kind of plan. So I just keep at it on Kell.

Running mixed PotD has officially killed off any personal thought that the playerbase of this game might be remotely competent.

I'm mixing both. Got Robonyan F-2 because I liked the look of the machinist weapon (and considering how EX Mog will be a fucking pain to do over and over again for the glamour I might use it as a replacement glamour) and started doing FATEs in the appropriate areas. Probs gonna port back and get the minions as I complete it.

Yeah, I nope'd out of the Fork Tower entirely with my party composition. I didn't even do Necrophobe because I couldn't get past the Barriers. Just went straight to Exdeath and partied too hard.
