Company rules can be found >>here<<. We have a personal discord server for our members to relax and chat in. We offer a good variety of different RP events for members to take part in, ranging from a weekly meeting (attendance highly encouraged, yet not mandatory), contract and plot events, along with social get-togethers such as an All Saints’ Wake party. What we do: With the war between the city states of Hydaelyn and the Garlean Empire growing in intensity, as well as drawing the attention of independent organisations such as the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, many of Raven Heart’s contracts are focused around the idea of cleaning up the threats that have been left unchecked across Hydaelyn, as well as helping those they can along the way. Though the company has made its fair share of enemies along the way, which often makes completion of its contracts all the more difficult… But the rewards just that much better. What we’re looking for: Mercenaries: Whether you fight with an axe, a sword, a gun, a staff, or a different weapon all together, Raven Heart is always looking for the able-bodied and highly skilled to join its ranks. There’s no better feeling than saving the realm, along with a good payout. Adventurers: Filled with wanderlust and a sense of adventure, or perhaps wanting to be remembered for great deeds? Our contracts will take you across Hydaelyn, along with the promise of pay and renown at the end. Supporting staff: As with any venture, non-combatants and support staff are always required, particularly those with business, or crafting skills. After all, battles aren’t just won on the field, and gil can get you anywhere. Healers: Knowledge of conjury or arcanima? Or perhaps you’re simply a chirurgeon or traditional healer? As with any fighting Free Company in Eorzea, battles can get intense, and afterwards there’s more than a fair share of healing to go around. It rolls around to that time of year again where I find myself with little to do during the dreadful UK evenings/daytimes. I posted a while ago for connections for my Miqo'te, who has now deceased - and I now have a new character (woo!). Xharoa Malaguld is a little. Well, she's little, for one - and somewhat confusing. I'm looking for a nice bunch to roleplay with, or even a few people from here and there to advance my character's development (and hopefully yours too). I'm usually on all weekends in GMT time, and evenings during business days - I work shifts, so one week I may be on early, and the other quite late. I've found that being active at these times has made it somewhat hard for me to find a nice group for Xharoa to find her feet in. What kind of RP do I like? WELL, you have hit the jackpot! I engage in all kinds of RP, here and there. Bring on the light-hearted comedy, but I /really/ do favour the dark, gritty and the strange. Yes. Please. Give me the latter in droves. Who is Xharoa and why should anyone care? Truth is, you probably shouldn't care. Last I heard, the player behind the character is oddly sadistic and enjoys screwing up her entire characters' lives! Xharoa is of the Malaguld tribe - or so she has been told. She came to Eorzea after being kidnapped, and has since found herself wandering aimlessly. After having found her family, and being thrust into being 'sociable', she's realised she'd much rather make maps. Lots of them. More information can be found here and here. Sadist, and (somewhat) unwilling masochist, V'lanya has done far too much wrong in her life to ever consider recompense as an available path. Dabbler of all-things voidy, and a colossal bitch, there are very few that see the Miqo'te's 'softer' side. Ashen skin, Seeker name? Well, last I heard, attempting to take aetherial corruption out of your body through forced chakra opening was bad. I wouldn't recommend it~

I'm usually an open book, but I really love watching romantic comedies, and 9/10 times I cry all the way through. This is why I try to /not/ watch them. Pitch Perfect made me cry so much, I don't know what's wrong with me.

Pending potential name change when they release the information but this is Xharoa! She'll be my new main once 3.0 rolls around ^^. Her clan are a bunch of slavers, coming to Eorzea to take prime pickings at all these new droves of individuals! Due to (potentially) the way their clan works, her and her cousin are somewhat warring over who takes to reigns of the clan once their elders are incapable.

V'lanya is very different from her usual self, all senses of intellectual ability seems to just disappear. Subtle nods towards certain areas of touchy conversation usually end up with her blurting it out, thus embarrassing herself and her company. Gone is her articulated speech, and in its stead is her home-grown La Noscean accent, which, she isn't too proud of.

By day V'lanya would likely be working some corporate schmuck, working with numbers, nine-to-five general boredom. She gets home, kicks off a pair off heels, closes the blinds and starts mashing out research papers on Goetia and chaos magick.

THIS. I absolutely love Summoner in some respects (namely because NUMBERS), but it's so mind-numbingly boring. Switch pets based on various situations, can tank Mog EX with Titan, that's cool, I suppose - but... Seriously where's my awesome flashy moves? I'd also like to add that Tri-Disaster doesn't count because it's NOWHERE near as awesome as it should have been. I just hope we're in luck in 3.0, I do recall them saying something about Summoner something or other, aside from getting hornier. No idea. (Excuse my bitterness, I played DoT classes throughout my MMO career, and I suppose I expected something a little bit better. :cry: )

Okay I saw this on my phone before I went to bed, and you literally have all of my yes. They're all there, just take them, please. A lot of the magic I used for the way V'lanya uses sigils and geometrics is loosely based (okay it's actually a lot) off chaos magick and paganism (I'm a nerd).

I actually make myself ill over lack of sleep sometimes, it's terrible, don't do it! Now, I live in sunny, lovely, fantastic Britland. (Sarcasm noted). All of my role play partners do not, aside from one. In fact most people are 6 - 8 hours behind me. Recently I go to bed between 5-6am and wake up around 2/3pm, but I used to stay up until anywhere between 11am and 4pm. I won't point fingers, but these people know who they are. Do I regret it? The only thing I regret is not being in the same time zone.

A consistent amount of bitching, and general disgruntled perspectives of people. She'd be the sort to just tag them in the status.

Chiming in as a resident villain! It's all subjective, some people think villains shouldn't be this, or shouldn't be that. I find the scariest villains to be that ones that can be related to, in some form or fashion. It brings the whole sense of blurred lines into the forefront of characters, and their development. There's not a right way, or a wrong way. But villains that have literally no reason for their motivations or goals, just elude me completely. I need a reason -why- people act a certain way, which, granted could be down to my education as a sociologist. As for the whole ERP thing? Literally every other 'villain' I have encountered, or fellow strange individuals aren't like that. I think it's down to luck of the draw, and who you find yourself interacting with. You can't judge an entire group of roleplayers on one or two interactions, it's just entirely unfair. I won't divulge the details of my character, or why she's necessarily villainous, as I believe my RPC reflects that, and I've noticed people could care less. I just believe there's reason behind most things, as far as logic goes - though I'm not dismissing another's views entirely, it's a matter of opinion, and what one prefers to see/read.

I love you, and I hate you, and I have a torrent of emotions at this, and I'm so embarrassed. I'm bias, but it has all my yes and I want to help but ohgod.

I do a hell of a lot of reading, and I have some strange subjects that I like to delve into that really makes for interesting roleplay. A lot of sigil magic that V'lanya uses is derived from chaos magick, with the added spin of mathematics. In real life? I just enjoy reading about it, I don't necessarily believe or disbelieve in its existence, or whether it plausibly works. I'm also terrible at math, which she isn't, go figure. Her alcoholism is certainly something I can't relate to, and her favourite drink I absolutely despise. Seriously, red wine is just not my thing. I also rarely drink, and just stick to cocktails and whiskey. She also eats a lot of rare red-meats, and I've been a vegetarian for all my life. I haven't the slightest clue as to what the texture, or even taste is like - yay for winging it. By day, I sit around, procrastinate and smoke profusely. V'lanya is always driven, not much of a procrastinator, and is just a straight up horrid person. I like to think we're on opposite ends of the spectrum, and at times, I don't know how I manage it.
