Well... I was interested in coming back over the Viera hype but seeing the gender lock I'm not sure I will anymore. I get the budgeting issues when it comes to character models but I would have preferred an entire race than two halves. I'm not going to hold out any hope that they'll develop the other gender models either... so I'm just really disappointed. All the other stuff looks good but this was what would have brought me back.

For many players, one game and one character are enough. And then there is me: the altaholic RPholic that jumps from place to place with gusto and a fear of commitment. So let's talk about what we play elsewhere~ (Disclaimer: Please do not discuss other games in detail nor their RPCs. Just share your things!) GW2- I play a mesmer named Susan Jiang who sells fake potions and trolls people with illusions. Wildstar- I play Pipistrelle; an aurin stalker living in a massive and hostile maze. Black Desert- I play Adam Lambert's twin named Salvatore, and Manu Vokan the giant sorcerer. Second Life- I play Peithandros Al Hasra; an Incubus who feeds on heartache and betrayal rather than lust. And with SL's capacity for customization I've OOCly been able to do some modeling work with him.

When I logged in for the first time on Sol last night, I was in the yard in front of your guild and it made me really nostalgic <3 -

balmung [Balmung] Seeking a group for my Master Couturier

"Greetings loved ones. Let's take a journey." -Snoop Dog Hey friends new and old, I've just renewed my subscription after 2 years away and I'm looking to find a new place for my fashion designer slash retired warrior to kick up his plated heels and make... 'friends'. I use this term loosely because he is something of an acquired taste. Curious? Here's the wiki link: https://wiki.ffxiv-roleplayers.com/pages/Dadarupo_Boborupo Dadarupo can be described as a fusion of Anna Wintour's personality with John Galliano's talent neatly wrapped inside of a fully armed miniature tank with conservative values on finance and immigration but highly progressive toward the arts. He lives and works in Ul'Dah and I would prefer LS and FCs that are also based in Ul'Dah and Thanalan. Dadarupo is experienced in several types of combat beyond what is mentioned in his wiki blurb (it may be updated later) and is not -above- cleaving someone in half should he have to, but he would not take a role that regularly places him in a position of having to fight. He is retired from combat. Ideally Dadarupo could be suited for any number of things bearing in mind that his fashion business is his primary job and he has a reputation to protect. You are welcome to suggest how this could tie in with your FC activities if something immediately comes to mind, but otherwise if I find somewhere that really attracts my interest I'll more than likely brainstorm it for myself -
Welcome! Make good choices and most importantly, do NOT poke, pet, or hug Lalafell unsolicited.

My honest opinion? Second place isn't winning. The point of tournament is to win. To outlast all others. If Second place gets a prize for not winning, why doesn't everyone just get a participation prize and some participation money for participating in something that was optional to begin with? You are under no obligation to reward not winning. You and the other volunteers should not feel pressured to cater to the mentality that "almost" is something to be celebrated. To quote a popular Youtuber series, "That sounds like it belongs in Almost magazine. Right up there next to 'Who almost won the Superbowl'" If you offer a prize for 'almost' winning, sure we're going to accept it and be fine with it because who doesn't love to be rewarded? But in doing so you also devalue the actual winner. That person's victory weighs a lot less when he or she still would have won something if they did not put in as much effort as they did. And that kinda sucks. If it were me I would simply have told the person complaining that they will have an option to win next time, but that the prize money is intended for the winner. The fact that they are a runner up is valuable in itself.

Miqote who act like and insist they are cats all have a hereditary and eventually fatal brain condition which leads to delusions of fancy, the desire to lick ones own body, and at the final stages, they may only be able to speak in various forms of "Nyah~" and "Kyaa~". Look upon them with pity :<

Last I was aware, the Sha((n))totto was the only remaining BLM soulstone. Maybe recent lore has adjusted that, but it was very heavily debated in 2015 that on top being completely illegal to practice Black and White magics, one had to at least come in contact with that specific stone to do it, if not have it on their person to prevent self destruction.

I'm in a period of trying to get someone to send me a Callback request on my main, so I made an alt to log in with a trial pass and...unexpectedly stumbled upon Mateus RP. I saw around 30 people in the Quicksand and more outside and elsewhere.

As you make your way through the city among throngs of nobles and their retainers on errands and in merriment, your otherwise average day is interrupted by the piercing, heartstopping sound of a woman's scream in the forum just outside of the Weaver's guild. You rush toward the sound and push your way through the crowd of onlookers whose attention has also been captured by the haunting exclamation to find a Hyuran lady in formal gown collapsed on the ground seemingly reaching for the heavens. You kneel next to her; taking her hand in your own and implore what ails her so- she grips your hand tightly as if her very soul depends on it and whispers: "He's returned." She loses consciousness, and as you turn your head to the wall before her, you see it. A simple yet elegantly inscribed poster on ornate parchment glimmering in the light of the sconces.

Reading all this fairy lore got me excited. I've always RPed Solmund as having a fairy much like Selene in ability but with a unique personality. I'd say that as an international tradesman it is not impossible that he would have acquired it perhaps through black market dealings and paid a grand fortune for it. The lore doesnt seem to state (unlike BLM) that the WoL has the only one, and as Nym was once a nation it can be assume that they are not impossible to get but -near- impossible to find. My headcanon is that if found they would be extraordinarily valuable especially if the fairy within chooses to reveal herself to you, which I'm pretty sure she does not have to. I also have headcanon that since the WoL is the first -recorded- wielder of a fairy in ages, it can be inferred that either the other existing soulstones that might have been found remained dormant up until the WoL came in contact with Eos, OR other Scholars in the world have remained silent and hidden. Again this is headcanon. I do want confirmation on the magic though. From what I remember, all of the spell learned by the WoL are taught to him in increments by Eos but all in the same location. From the questline, is it explicitly stated that one must go there to unlock the abilities?

If your character had found the DRK Soul Crystal...

I guess a annoying darkside would be easier to deal with than a violent darkside. Except that its a DRK so it would basically be one of the nurses from Silent Hill but actually attractive. -

My DRK shadow would be me walking around in nothing but heels and a jockstrap flirting with all of the handsome men. -
I'd like to point out... as a Dunesfolk player... that in the city of Ul'Dah the ONLY privileges that can be checked are those of the Lalafell aristocracy, and anyone with "Manderville" in their name. Being rich in Ul'Dah comes with perks. Being rich and Lalafell in Ul'Dah comes with so much more to the point where one can become complacent in their privilege. Complacency in Ul'Dah leads to an assured death.

After hours and hours and hours, I made a fusion of Adam Lambert, Sawyer Hartman, Robbie Rotten, and Taylor Lautner. And I messed up the muscles in his face so he makes awkward ambiguous expressions. -

So, I just spent hours fixing up a replica of Neon Hitch, and my internet pooped out and I lost all of it. So here, have my final draft of Rorgheron, the studly giant: -

I like the age lock on wizard. It says, "There are no prodigies. These ass holes studied for literally years and years." Biggest issue for me in BD AND BS is how females have more class options. In BD, you can't even make a studly guy for all the few male classes.
