  1. Players that pay for the game. SE made it possible to keep houses indefinitely. We complained, and said "NOPE CANNOT HAVE THIS," and SE changed things accordingly. THIS.
  2. Solmund is not a thaum but he would know someone in the order. Remember that the Order of Nald'thal writes laws! It's always handy to know someone involved in lawmaking.
  3. I wasn't aware I could not contribute without credentials. Here is my resume. Angela is a friend from other games. Berrod has helped me a lot with my art. Both of them have characters that my character would interact with.
  4. My RP crushes are Angela Delacroix and Berrod. My thirst will be quenched when Berrod-sempai teaches his next pugilist class, but Angela eludes me forever.
  5. I love Bebe because she's what everyone thought Lorde was going to be back when Royals came out and then she turned out to be weird. Bebe Rexha is that misconception personified. kEDZZin4_eM
  6. I have yet to RP with a Miqote.
  7. Its the thirst for revolution and the blood of monetarists in them, I think. I would have said visual acuity but close enough.
  8. Beef you look so much like your avatar. Something about the eyes.
  9. Here have one of my good pictures. This is before I started going to the gym, but had perfectly clear skin that entire Pride weekend and it was the best. No longer...
  10. Her last name is more Midlander than Highlander. Midlander names resemble mundane last names like Smith. Highlander names resemble traits and actions. Wyldhart. Armstrong. Gunner. Brawley. Willstone.
  11. Honestly though, the only male hairstyle I need is this: I have attempted such a hairstyle, and it would be perfect for Solmund. Refined, with a flair.
  12. Can...can you even comprehend what is now possible with this hair!?
  13. I'd say it differs from person to person depending on what jis or her life revolves around. Solmund is a merchant and a gambler. When luck smiles upon him, he attributes it to the idea that the Nald'Thal have favored him. It causes his outlook on life to be a glass-half-full point of view. But then again, when you have tons of gil, everything looks pretty bright. From an atheological perspective, his successes come from a wise eye for business and decision-making (and also clever cheating) rather than the direct intervention of divinity, but if you were to challenge him, he would likely ask you who bestowed him with those abilities.
  14. In the event that a higher item level comes out in the big patch, I'll probably slow my roll just a little.
  15. So, upon research of the FF14 database, I found Elements; an i210 SCH tome. The stats are listed, but virtually nothing else about it is listed. There are no photos of this specific item, but I did find a lesser version called Antiquated Elements. There are screenshots of it, it looks meh, but ultimately the stats are so hot right now. But my research on how to obtain either form of the weapon has proved fruitless. Gamerescape seems to be having a freeze issue for me, but it appears to have some sort of Esoterics requirement. Okay, I can raid my butt off for snap casting. But -where- do I get it, and -how- do I make not Antiquated?
  16. I just got to 54 on Scholar last night and I'm sooper excited about the approaching endgame. Once I finally bite the bullet and grind Thaum for Swiftcast, I shall be the fairest of them all. Scholar is probably one of the most comfortable classes I have played in an MMO. Unlocking Cleric Stance from Conjurer was such an incredible game changer, as it swaps Int and Mind stats. I can use that to alternate my stats when I feel like kicking back and running SMN in dungeons, but honestly I vastly prefer DPSing as a scholar. (DoTs out the ass) It's a shame I don't get to choose. I can't wait to see how effective I am in both modes when I have my endgame gear. The goal is to get the highest Mind possible with a secondary focus on spell speed. It seems Summoner gear doesn't have nearly as much speed bonus, so I'm going to thoroughly enjoy popping CS and Broiling my enemies at lightning speed. Glamour goal is probably the Labyrinth of the Ancients armor IF I can dye the red parts blue. Solmund would never be caught dead in red. *The Wiz reference*.
  17. This one is a couple months old and I fucking hate this haircut but I don't feel compelled to look my best for you nerds. #blurryselfiecam
  18. So, when I get him to a high enough level he probably -won't- be wearing token Paladin armor. But these are his signature colors so I thought it gave a good idea of how he will appear. Meet Ul'Dahan Merchant Lord Solmund Vyce.
  19. QQ even your sketch phase looks like pro line art. Ugh.
  20. So, I've been working on this thing for about 6 months. It has gone through various incarnations, from a tiny slip of paper on my desk, to a photograph, to cookie-cuttered lines. Yesterday I finally figured out hair, and settled on everyone's favorite Ala Mighan stripper suit for clothes. This is the closest I have ever come to finishing a digital work of art. I honestly have no idea what I'm doing. Please enjoy this dirty laundry. THINGS COMING. WILL RE-ADD ART SOON
  21. The Diary of a Vampire by Anne Frank
  22. The Dravanian issue is kindof silly IMO. Iceheart: "Why can't Elves and Dragons be friends?" Midgardsormr: "Wow. Like I don't even. Feelings were such hurt. Boo whore."
  23. Yes, look at all those Ishgardians being flung of Witchdrop how much they had a trail by combat! I really think you only get a trail by combat if you have the status for it, rest will just be flung off witchdrop or executed otherwise. As I said, those suspected of being Heretics and those suspected of Heretic Sympathizing are likely treated differently. Tataru Taru has no status anywhere. She's a secretary. You could consider it a diplomatic triviality, but if you return to Dragonhead, those Witchdrop executions were performed by a vile and corrupt individual whose entire goal was death. You can't compare that to actual Ishgardian Law I believe (I could be wrong) it was mentioned either during those MSQ events or in side-quests that popped up around that time that accused heretics being tossed off the cliff at Witchdrop was a "tradition" prior to Guillaume -- who was relatively new in Dragonhead and Whitebrim -- using it. Yes, but what about people that aid them? Fraternizers. People who might not necessarily share their views but have given them aid. Those who are accused of aiding them but not of holding their dangerous beliefs seem to be detained and tried. Guillaume likely denied many their right to trial and that was allowed by blind faith.
  24. Unfortunately, the Nymeans were wiped out by plague. Those who survived are Tonberries. Only a very few were left on this side of the seal until the cataclysm. You'll have a better shot with Amdapor.
