AHH I LOVE KEITARO♥ What the heck, I love them all. :moogle: Kyoooot~

Backstory: George is afraid of heights, the dark, most cat-points-of-pride... however she is quite skilled with the use of her paws for grabbing and scooping. She eats and drinks with her paws and regularly tries to steal my food. EXHIBIT A "dun mind if i does"

Oh my god, ;u; I especially encourage the post pictures aspect of this. Foodpornyes!\o/ ... I have nothing to contribute. I'm kind of forbidden to wield kitchen appliances/utensils unless under supervision. Both for my safety and the safety of others. BUT, this is great for when I AM allowed to cook stuff! Show me how it's done! "Serve" me, if you will! ... I did make home-made eggnog that has to sit for two weeks. Pictures pending - in boyfriend's fridge. Recipe here!

Cute faces! Also, on the subject of computer guardians: it's twice now (since moving back to this residence) that my cat George has gotten trapped behind my computer desk. Can't decide if she likes to be the damsel in distress or this is natural selection at work. Alsoalso, Moogle and I, representin'. Edit - And equally relevant.

I watched a documentary on snipers in WWII a little bit ago and decided if I couldn't be one, I'd make a character that could. >;D (I'm not uh... what's the word... "cunning.") It had pretty cool information and they pointed out that soldiers originally from the boonies with a background in hunting (obviously) did the best as snipers. And it really demanded a lot from you! Coincidentally, people who grew up on the streets with very little also showed similar traits to these hunters - all survival instincty and what-not. ANYWAYS! Cat people being born hunters made it really easy to slip that in there. *Pats a sign that reads "Bamf" onto Fae's back* So now I just see her as this Finnish feline sniper ;u; Her primary role is merchant, though. Second is accidental arson. Edit - UH, I imagine most traditional Miqo'te are at Fae's bow-wielding level. Fae's just not an up-close and personal kinda go-getter... fighter... thing. ... @_@

If it's alright, I wouldn't mind at all to be added to the waiting list. :3 Please and thank-you! Um, for Fae Veera.

\o/ Um. I've been wanting to make a "pusher" type character for a while but have been kinda too shy to make anything of the concept. (But I have plenty of notes/ideas for "uppers, downers, screamers, [and] laughers..." *hails Hunter S. Thompson*) So, uh! I dunno if that's the kind of criminal you're looking for, but my character sells things. ... ;D She's an ace concoctor. Pretty small-time dealings though, in the grand scheme of things. ... THAT CAN CHANGE. But yeah, peddler eeeet cook. *puts tattered chef hat on Fae*

Um, I think this is somewhat related! Walking home the other day, I was (unusually) admiring the snow fall. Normally I hate winter but the cold crispness, the soft crunch and the white silence had me thinking back to when I lived up North. My friends and I used to play make believe in the forests, and as it snowed for much of the year, we were mostly snow elves, rangers and what have you. And I just remember, and love, the hoarfrost. And then suddenly I thought of an eskimo-esque winter survival character. And imagining her mucking around in the snow has mostly managed to distract me from my face hurting 8D. (Why do I live in a country where the air hurts my face?) Soooo long story short, FAE IS THE COLOURS OF DECEMBER. Which would be whites and blues, blacks and grays (here, anyway.) Edit: Forgot brown. *Staring out window*

What would you do if you got stuck in Final Fantasy?
Yoshi replied to Vashies Rosada's topic in RP Discussion
\(^ ^)/ All my dreams would come true~ I'd chase moogles and ride chocobos, and touch everyone's fantasy ears. It'd be great. OH, OH! And then I'd become a Ninja. 8-) -
Not soft enough to be cute! I consider cute synonymous with soft, personally. ... And fluffy. And most often - but not exclusive to - pink.

\o/ So much cute and beards!

Like you, Luna's friends are really lacking! I've actually been too shy to attempt role-play at all. BUT! To throw it out there: Luna grew up in LL in her family's apothecary shop. One of her relatives married a Seeker with ties to the Rogue guild (that has yet to manifest itself officially in-game...), and in turn the Rogues offered protection to the Fay's store (against pirates; thieves; general banditry - Luna's family is rolling in gil.) In recent years her family's store, Sylph Secrets (I think that's the name I've settled on), has also been (discretely) known for selling poisons and drugs. Luna never really liked to behave (as her Mom insisted) and often went venturing through the city on her own. To keep the potential for connections broad, in my head I just kind of assumed she's talked to all manner of characters (if she's bored enough she'll talk to a post.) Currently she's trying to be an adventurer, but is more of a... merchant of oddities. Herbal remedies/medicine, ingredients, food, organic drugs, stolen goods... So if you're interested, there's the Lominsan/Underworld-ish vibe from my toon. Ish. But don't feel pressured if it's not what you're looking for! o/

That's totally fine! We can make stuff up, together! \o/ I'm really interested in any other details you had regarding the herb/illness. Though I'm sure Umi would reveal things to Luna in-character. And agreed! Luna is also super intrigued by other Miqo'te, especially ones with close relations to their tribes (she's more domesticated/Hyur-like and finds her life boring - she wants to know her people's roots.) I'm actually about to log in now~ But I just got laid off so my schedule is currently flexible. Once I get back into the working routine we'll have to figure something out (if you are interested in all this!), but in the mean-time I'm cool whenever. :3 I'm uh NA/UTC-5. Edit - Oh. Forgot to mention! Luna is fairly agreeable... but she's kind of a klepto. You said "if I am willing to deal with Umi nature," but likewise Umi would have to deal with spontaneous thievery.
-
Correct~ I'm not going to lie though the herb is completely made up... I managed to work out a picture of the herb drawn in Umi journal but its all pieced together really.~ However, if you are willing to deal with Umi nature then I will gladly send you a whisper and friends request in game. That's totally fine! I have a bit of flower/plant knowledge IRL and I drew up a list of veggies and stuff with medicinal value, but I know that once it comes to role-play I'll be winging a lot of it. :3 Have been mulling over imaginary plants in the Eorzea universe... and writing down any I see in-game. As for Umi's nature, Luna is from a super big family - a lot of which would have a similar attitude to Umi. Example: Luna "Hey Jim, whatcha doi-?" Jim "Scram." She's used to amusing herself and generally being happy within her own bubble - she doesn't have to depend on others to keep her in a good mood. Besides, her desire for adventure would (in most cases) out-weigh the company.
-
Hey Umi! I'm always down for role-play. I noticed you mentioned an elusive herb... Luna's a botanist/herbalist and seeker of adventure. ;3 She'd definitely be curious to learn the plant's medicinal (and other) qualities, if she came along~ As well as providing additional information for any flower that floated her way.

So cuteee! ♥♥♥ I love how you colour - I'm so terrible at colouring. ;_; I think I remember looking over your character wiki a while back and being stunned by the art. Keep up the awesome work, and like the others said, keep experimenting - it looks great! And if it makes you feel any better, I suck at drawing guys too. Girls are more fun anywho.

The art of Distraction: Keeping yourself busy till phase 4
Yoshi replied to Felix Sideris's topic in FFXIV Discussion
Bouncing between two jobs takes up most of my time unfortunately - and when I DO have freetime, it's spent trying to get Cima's wiki done and over with (so I can move on with my life till p4 and actually play a fucking game). I tend to doodle and brainstorm character concepts during my workshifts though... as well as bugging coworkers for their opinions on behaviour and history ideas. They think I'm odd. Have been watching South Park and Attack on Titan recently... a coworker keeps bugging me to play Kingdom of Amalur... uuuhhh... tried to set up a lan-game thingie with Civilization last weekend but didn't work, so we played Titan Quest and then Worms. Harassed orphan kittens yesterday! By harass I mean trip them out with my sneaky, slidy, pouncy, grabby, poky digit-monsters (fingers). But yeah, unfortunately that taboo-four-letter-word is consuming every waking hour of my life. All work and no play makes for a not fun Kitty Wizard. -
http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Moogle_%28Race%29 Cute little fury guys, best known for their trademark "Kupo"! :moogle: Believe they're considered a Beastmen, which my character - among many others - aren't too into! Though Moogles and Sylph seem to be cool enough doods anyways. Kids love them and in 1.0 (I didn't follow the storyline quests too much) they were all spirit-y and couldn't be seen/understood by just anyone. Resided in the Shroud at that time. Supposedly mailmen now? *Terrible at explaining: Moogles in a nutshell!*
-
I think courier characters are a great idea, and I'd love to join up with an organized group of messengers! As well as use them! Still haven't decided if Cima is tolerant of Moogles - and if she's not, she'd really prefer not to use their little post service! (Though IG I obviously have no choice.) Cool idea relative to the linkpearls too!
-
Cima contorted her face in an elaborate, insolent expression (behind Salaah's back, ofcourse) before muttering some spawn-of-a-foul-phrase beneath her breath. 'Spin a better sob story... but that was pure gold!' She thought with another sniff - though this time the sound was one of impertinence, not sorrow. At least they were getting on their way... she'd bother Wilfie for a drama lesson when they returned home. 'Maybe it was the old comment...' Scratching her cheek as she mused over the new twist to their story, the lens of her vision adjusted to take in the rough arrival of the Captain. She glanced between the characters and their faces, taking special note, before sauntering along with the mini herd. Her brow and ears quirked at Tyriont's actions - not that she particularly cared, she was just making an observation. With a 'plop' she landed alongside Melle, turning toward her friend and offering her hands just in case her assistance was needed. Seemed she was okay, so Cima made herself comfortable. "I'd imagine so. Hey, captain, your ship has big buckets, right?" Tail twitching, she gestured toward the Elezen with a lift of her chin, meanwhile casting the blonde-haired Hyur a curious stare.
