If you clicked their links... they go to the Lodestone database. Like almost all other event items they are level 1 items. The quest to get the items on the otherhand may not be. As far as I can recall the Vday event stuff have always been gendered? Or 2014's was, I know that. Right I should have made it clear that I was referring to the quest. Anywaayy on the off chance the quest isn't doable at level 15 but rather 30...anyone wanna...yanno... help me help you help me level Nah(punchecatte) to 30. I got some of this here gil. alsomybodyimeanwat Ireallywantthathatte

Compliments Galore! Compliment The Poster Above You!

Solenneeeee aaahhhh Well I haven't RP'd much with her but I find her to be an endless well of character ideas. All those alts @u@-b Also she strikes me as a 'active' person, reaching out to people for one as well the supportive type. -
That would have been nice if my schedule didn't shove me into the graveyard shift of all the rp. EST mornings. EDIT: Anyway to start off I guess... Kurt. 'Well you know. You ARE getting this vacuum cleaner at a bargain. And you don't even need to step out of your house. Come to think of it, sir or ma'am, if you have a part of your house that needs cleaning I would be happy to demonstrate just how powerful this one is compared to all your other household items. Isn't it time you let yourself have that one quality of life upgrade?' He'd be hands-on, 'I'll show you this thing works and it works like a charm' even if it makes him look like a home invader. And probably easily taken advantage of in his gusto to make a sale (that might never happen)
-
And they have to sell something (Uhhh vaccum cleaner?) Door to door. What would their sales pitch be? How would they market their product? How would they try to get customers to buy their stuff?

Would this be extra large or just the jumbo bowl?

...So I'm just sending out some feelers, probes. See if there are people who somehow hop on at EST (Early and otherwise) mornings (say 6:30am EST onward) and would like to rp. Yes I know, long shot, QS is practically a graveyard at those times. As for what I can offer. Let me try to sum it all up nice and tidy. 'Jack of some trades, mastering none.' - Kurt S. 'Half-baked Heroine (Gridanian) Shopkeep.' - Nah A. 'Heiress, attention-seeker, embellishment galore.' - Ramen S. *Puts the probe out into rpspace and watches it sail through the rpspace, playing the message on repeat*

Top part's flavor if anything. Basic idea is. Your character's alone in the woods and a serial killer cannibal's after them. They only have their starter clothes on their back and no weapon at all. What would they do.
-
You're walking in the (twelves)wood/s. In your starter gear and your pearl is dead. Out of the corner of your eye you spot him. Random laBeouf. What does your character do? So yeah, your character's in a dark sinister creepy part of The Black Shroud. In only their starter equipment with no linkpearl to conact friends, family, free company, etc. And tailed by a serial killer cannibal. So yeah if you're a lalafell the serial killer cannibal is lalafell too. Miqo to miqo, you get the idea. Seeker to seeker...yeah.

The Vent Tent - Poor PuGs and Other Terrible Tales
Kurt S. replied to Gegenji's topic in FFXIV Discussion
Kurt Journal, 1st Entry Today marks day 1 of my stay in Ishgard. My player decided to craft me equipment, for when I would eventually hit BLM 50. Except for a grave miscalculation. He didn't set aside teleporting expenses. Now I'm at 32 gil and today marks day 1 of my indefinite stay in Ishgard. I hope my friends and family are all right down there where it's warm. God only knows if I come out there as cold and Ishgardian as the rest of them. Didn't help that a few days prior he had made 9 plain long skirts and made 2 more HQ variants thinking that'd solve the problem. It didn't and the gil has been on steady rise and fall until now. I'm hoping that cutting most of the asking prices in half will in fact only limit me here for one day. All that remains to be seen. If this journal is found, please send it back to the MW-RP FC house, place it on the counter in my room where it belongs. All is well. All is well. All is (not) well. I can feel the changes already. -K. Steel Praise Halone -

Okhi, well the compliment's partially from me. But hey, heard you made my cousin a little bit more comfy while she did her thingies. Or that you were rather a blast to talk to every now and then. So yeah I think you've got the touch...the power...or at least some way to ease people in <.< YEAH >.> -
The Vent Tent - Poor PuGs and Other Terrible Tales

Same thing happened to me except what was left was me(thm) a lnc and a cnj. It could have gone smoother if yanno we had an actual tank. And we did....like at the last boss since everyome was crapping their pants scrambling their /linkshell /fc for one. Anyway showed the party why THM stood for Tank Healer Mage. The LNC tried to tank but I kept ripping aggro off him. And somehow, in my clothy cloth robes and scepter and shield, fire II's and lolumbralphysicks everywhere. We survived all the way to the last boss. -

You know what grinds my gears? Accidentally hitting Greed on the DRG chest and watching it go to the BLM...as a DRG....in Void Ark... ...yeah. Sometimes you do things that you know..make you wanna cry in a corner. -
Roleplayer Uncertainty/Insecurity Theater
Kurt S. replied to Warren Castille's topic in Character Workshop
Relax and enjoy your RP. Extraordinarily long post times aside, if someone is actually that impatient that they can't give you time or respect to do so then they're the tart, not you IMHO. Nah they weren't impatient, that was probably just the anxiety talking to me. Still though being able to put action sequences to words would be a nice thing to have but oh well -

And this just recent one. After being challenged (and subsequently beaten down horribly in a close fight) I'm wondering. Am I doing this right. Oh my god am I doing this right. I mean 90% of that fight was me pulling the post out of my ass since as much as I've seen flashy action sequences to Borne-esque fight sequences, putting them into words is another ball game for me. And for the next few seconds I'm wondering. This other guy and the people watching are judging me, oh god what if they just want this done and over with so they can beat up the next guy. -

Is your character open for killing/death? What about injury?
Kurt S. replied to LadyRochester's topic in RP Discussion
I don't mind Kurt or Nah getting shafted as long as. A. There's a point to it all, helps drive a plotline or something has an example. (Yes me getting tired of them is a point too.)) B. Ample warning given beforehand so I can notify next of kin, all his/her friends that hey you know Kurt/Nah may/will die in this next bit BUUUT he/she'll totally be taking out a few thousand bad guys with him. Yes even if I grow tired of them I want them to die in style fighting a thousand Garleans or something. I mean as mortal as they are and I make them out to be, I'd at least like to let people know before the actual character is killdeded so I can let others know and if they want to catch up a little bit more they can. -
I heard thaumaturgy and came running! I mean wut "Well hello there, Kurt Steel, amateur thaumaturge, and you must be the mono-- I mean the one looking for other thaumaturges? Think I can't trouble you to share a little of what you know." *Puts down a platter fresh croissants.* "And if you need a sellsword to go do the dirty things for gil. Might I also recommend myself?" *Puts down a business card*

Clio, the boss, like probably the third person I've ever had any really constant rp with. Well let's just say she's a generous kind soul and I think I owe a few of Kurt's outfits to her also putting up with my shit from before. Also helping gear--- you get the idea. Also, I don't think I ever got to say @u@-b nice idea of holding the Bacchus Shots even if I've never participated in your drinkingstone. -

It's whenever you're free. But really I was thinking of maybe an IC dungeon run unsynced where we get our asses kicked and Kurt hauls you back in with him this time sporting his axe and a sky pirate duds and finishing the job. -

Punch catte beating up an aspiring punch catte? @u@-b at the very least it'd be a good metric as to how far Nah can really go and how much further she can go. oyoyhR7xcN4
