Experiencing Coil would be nice or yanno an Ifrit Pony. Or hell even a few Alex runs for one gordian bolt would be cool.

Kurt's Chocobo is just as a foolhardy and reckless as the man himself. His name's also Butts, no seriously, it's as like to butt heads with things as it is to claw them. In fact it's more inclined to headbutt things. A sort of manifestation of his owner's* head-first methodology, damn the consequences. An example is flying. He can't do that and that almost got him and his owner seriously injured once upon a time, but tried all the same. At least the Northern regions just have more powerful winds that his futile flapping gives the illusion of flight. *Do note the bird thinks Kurt was born solely to be an errand boy.

Now I'm just doing to help my cousin out with the connections, mainly because it's kind of sad just watching her take her time walking around Ishgard/Ul'dah/Limsa/Gridania self emoting. Hoping roleplayer-senpai notices her. Not exactly sure what she really aims to accomplish but what I do know is that if any of you need another body in, say a small expedition, maybe even some small odd job that needs doing (or rather you believe the job's under you) or hell just walk up and get out adventure. Hit her up, might make a roleplayer's day. What is she? Well for starters she's a runaway Ishgardian noble, or rather a ward of the house Oirellain. Recently come back to Ishgard so she's there ICly most of the time at the moment. Spent at least 4 or so moons in Ul'dah, only in recent weeks did she start heading around the big three cities. All the same she's still in touch with the events happening in Ishgard (so yeah she's heard of everything up until 3.1's end) For those indulging in uhh courtesans, you might recognize her too, although she operates on the cheaper spectrum with crazier, bigger, loftier goals. That said, she's not exactly one to identify as a courtesan, rather being called something far more..basic(?) Might be if you're a bunch of couriers and you're delivering an almost regular shipment of venoms that might just be her thing too. Some gil to be made there, she's not poor nor wanting in the slightest. On the other hand she's been to the alchemists' guild once or twice and is a regular, I think, levetaker. I quote, 'Besides selling my body isn't the main source of gil, I get that by plunging these stabbers into coves what cloying er harassin the Ul'dahn smallfolk. Was my Limsan spot on?" The way she carries herself, you'd think she's got a darkside that sadly overtook her. And you wouldn't be wrong but she wouldn't be aware of it. A long story about this little bit I should probably try to lore check here. Ah right, the most important bit. Maybe she's in game right now because I'm still in the Commonwealth wasteland, anyway Nivie Oirellain's who she is.

Damnit. I just retired Kurt. Then this outfit comes up and it makes me wanna unretire him. Partly because his old man's trying to make him doman. Mainly because red. All the red.

THIS. OH MY GOD YES. No need to click coke 198 times to turn Seals into gil. Unless I misunderstood that.

I think there's some sort of line in here which she says then transitions to the cut in. I can't quite put my finger on the exact words but I know there's one liner here. At any rate, Looks like she's about to drop a few LB3's in quick succession. >.> <.<

LESS THAN 24 HOURS ON MY END AAAAAAAHHHHAAAHAAHAAAAA MY BODY MY MIND THEY ARE READY

Even though I'm probably burnt on content, starving for rp and have like a fairly long friends list. I am still so very nervous about sending a tell to someone asking if they wanna RP. Okay so partly because some of em were Kurt's friends, some were Kat's. And Kat=Kurt=/=Fran. And I'm also too much of a chicken to poke someone, find out they're busy, and then apologize. Eventually I end up in QS to cast a line with bait to fish for RP. Which is to say, self-emote and hope random-senpai notices me.

MY BODY IS READY. IS YOUR BODY READY?

Got it for campaign and zombies with my brother. Though he'll probably stay for MP aspect while I end in another game after a few runs of the campaign and god knows how many zombies matches. ....then come right back for the nightmares mode and the 2nd zombie map depending on several factors.

Kurt Steel, well yanno...i mean Steel because eventually it was just hard to break him. Or rather it looked that way but he had beem broken into a variety of pieces. Eventually, just like how you can work to shape steel into whatever, he sort of just became 'fluid' in a sense. There was no real him but rather just following the mold he was previously left in. Only a scant core traits carried over each time he was asked to don another form, name and be another person. Nah was because I just finished binge playing FEAwakening. Amariyo because well...the generator said so. Eventually some people just blended the name and came up with something like Namaryo. All the other names I came up with either had their first names predetermined. Francesca, Ramomo, Batu, etc. Then took the first thing the generator shoved in my face. Then there was Kihl. U'kihl Tia/ Kihl Amalle. Back then I thought it was witty making it sound like kill em all.

Francesca Bishop. New character, one of Kurt's retainers, former YTC reclaimer. 'If you want it. I can get it, by hell or Dalamud falling down again.' In depth background in the works. A synthesis of traits, at least one, from each retired or otherwise deceased character.

Well I'll start cleaning up my roster of characters. Retiring them one by one, turning them into gil and putting it into one character. I just can't keep up what with school and exploring the Wasteland (eventually), giving my life for Aiur (eventually), fighting for the glorious Galactic Empire (eventually), liberating London on Borough at a time. So as it stands here are the fates of my characters: Kurt S. - Taking up the pirate life under his mother. (Forum RP use) Ramen S. - Death by risky gamble to pay off debt/Locked up in a very dark corner of the world where her Black Magicianing can't even save her. Nah A. - Focus lies on helping her father run Amariyousities (Forum RP use) Khujin T. - Death by Behemoth mauling/Eaten by Aevis. Odette D. - Returned to Ishgard to become a Dragoon, unwilling to finish her enrichment training mandated by the Desjardin House in order to better serve glorious Haillenarte. Death by Dragon noms. Batu Q. - Somewhere out there, beneath the pale moonliiiight. (Forum RP use) Replacement core character concepts in the works: -Reeve Enterprises senior staff (One of Ramomo's retainers) -OR- -YTC Reclaimer (One of Kurt's retainers)

Pre-ordered the pipboy edition. No regrets. But there are still several factors for me. It is still a toss up for whether me or my brother plays it first since we split the cost. If he wins the coin toss then I might be watching him play/GIVINGMYLIFEFORAIUR while I wait for what I assume would be a large patch for 3.1 being downloaded by my piss poor net.

Alright anyway might as well put my lore-breaking main of a character on here. Kurt Steel. As much as it's a long shot, still worth a try. And yes I'm keeping the lore-breaking aspect because I don't really know how to show genderbending outside of buying fantasia to showcase it. I mean c'mon it's not like anyone would ask 'Are you genderbent?' when it even doesn't exist in the lore anyway. Also he's not stupid enough to brag about it when it still kind of makes him uncomfortable. That said, I'll refrain from fantasia'ing him in the future unless someone here volunteers to kill him off. So what's he looking for? I'll leave that to him to expand on. ___________________ Kurt sat down on a vacant table in a relatively quiet corner of the already quiet Drowning Wench. Despite all that's happened to him, being nocturnal was still something he couldn't shake off. The red panda, Kojuro, named after his own Doman name was already fast asleep and he had already left the panda in his room. His fingers drummed against the wood of the table, waiting. Someone had called to meet him after all. What puzzled him was why it was during his own prime hours, when most everyone else was asleep. "Mister Steel." He turned to the sound of the voice. It came from the passage behind him. His brow furrowed. Even after meeting the person in the flesh nothing seemed to ring any bells in his head. The person in question was a brunette with eyes a bright brown it was almost golden. She had with her two escorts, a highlander and a seawolf. Both looked like quite the menacing pair of bricks. The woman they escorted sat across Kurt while the lackeys stood on either side of him. "So why call me out here? What do you want miss?" "My name's not necessary just asking a few questions and you will answer them truthfully." Kurt burst out laughing at the notion. This seemed like it was an amusing night. Until his face collided with the table. He felt his hair pulled back, one of the duo apparently had a little mixture in his hand. The moment he tried to resist his face met the table once more, stuck in his daze, he was forced to guzzle just a trace amount of the concoction. He felt himself hurtling toward the table before his hands stopped his head from making contact. He wanted to say something..anything but instead his head was swimming. A voice broke his daze however. "What is it you want to do with your life now?" "I want to get it back together." "How?" "I don't know yet." "What are your skills?" "I..." "You?" "I know my way around most machines. I don't doubt my ability aim straight. I still aspire to better my cooking. Even then I fight with a more bestial me trying to take over. A daily conflict I tire of. On the side I know how to mend my own clothes and to a degree make my own as well." "What is it you seek?" "I seek improvement in all things." "Do you regret anything?" "A thousand and one and still not half as many as my blessings." "And where do you wish to go?" "Somewhere I belong...after I've bettered myself." "Do you see that happening any time soon?" "I am...not sure." "You seem unsure of anything." "It's the only thing I'm sure of." "Also being quite the liar weaving a web of half-truths like a diremite spinning its silk." "I..." "Don't deny the accusation?" "I don't...which is why I'm trying to get my life together, tear this web of lies and try not to make anymore. I owe it to a very close friend who frowned on such acts." "Well I think that's all the time we have for now. Enjoy your nap, mister Steel." "My wh-" Something crashed onto the back of his head which forced him down onto the table again. The room went out of focus before it swirled into a dizzying darkness. To any other bystander coming in, it'd have looked like he had one too many to drink. Even if he never ordered any, there were several mugs arrayed clumsily in front of him. -
Pretty sure as long as it's Ishgard nobility related it's relevant. I, for one, appreciate all the info flooding in really.

Would it be safe to assume the Haillenartes are in a weak position even before hitting level 36-ish? Also if I recall right, Camp Cloudtop isn't exactly a 'respectable' station or I think isn't seen as one for a career climber. It's also owned by the Haillenarte right? Like it's exclusively their operation. And the whole providing work to commoners bit, Stephanivien's probably the driving force for that I assume. Unless it's also possible other Haillenarte members employ commoners for things as important as what Stephie does in the MCH quests? Might have missed details while I've autopiloted through most of HW MSQ and sidequests. I don't remember any other mention of the sort throughout the MCH questline so I'm just exploring other possibilities really. Interesting bits of info on the other two bigger houses would be welcome too really.
-
I'm looking bits and pieces of trivia and information regarding Haillenarte and Durendaire, specifically. I wanna know I'm flipping a coin for. Things like: -What they're known for. -Important people. (that probably don't even get a mention along the msq.) -What they own. (Haillenarte I think owns the Skysteel) -Recent blunders. -Recent achievements. -What they're doing right now. I just thought it'd help, flesh out a replacement concept I've been working in the event one of my existing characters die horribly and or get benched permanently. So things like that would help fill in backstory and such. No, I'm probably not going to make a member of the actual main branch, at best it'd be some off shot, if not some minor house vassal to them(if that's even possible). But I'm sure things like work ethic and mentality rub off on some degree, as well as current and recent events.
