Maybe it's just me but sometime or a lot I get the feeling I'm not really up to par with what the other guys expects and I'm just letting them down, so far down the depths I found oil...but that's beside the point. Like my character isn't what they need and probably just tolerates it because that's what's on hand. And I slowly dig my grave...then I hit an oil well with Adele rolling in it but that's beside the point.

Well I honestly just went with it... for Kat...or Kurt...or Kat at any rate. First time rping for me and first time adventuring for Kurt. I know no shit and neither did he. Adventuring Guild? Sounds cool. Make a name for Kurt and do a lot of helping around Red Rooster and Summerford get him some of that sweet delicious deals in Ul'dah and Gridania. Where did he come from? Oh shit ummm uhhh...Wine...port? Honestly half the things I made up for him was pulled completely out of my ass. Explains her shitty mood most of the time. hue. See what I mean? Pulled that genderbending rifle out of my ass too.

I haven't rp'd before, ever, and I swear to god and doge almighty I still have no idea what the hell i'm doing most of the time. I just...roll with it. I like to roll with things and it makes some really shitty things for Kat meanwhile vaguely interesting scenarios for me. Also I have a habit of biting more off more than I can chew in terms of rp.

After some IC stuff that's happened. Kat's got it into her head all Elezen are in some way 'Dhalmel F**kers' but tries not to address them as such. Keyword tries. But c'moooon those necks and limbs. Then there was also that one time she called a certain seeker 'budget whore' and is one of her go to's when dealing with seekers in general.

(Disclaimer: I know no shit) Ah gad this brings me back to a particularly weird and amusing the sesh in the first incarnation of Kat. Now I'll skip some of the details and go straight to answering the question. According to my cousins and their horror stories as well as bio studies women bleed during that phase(well duh). So when it came up I ended up sort of applying the concept of B4B to the inner beast state. So she's bleeding and expending more blood because she can barely control the strength of her strikes and most of the blood goes to her muscles for those meaty sweetdelicious swings. Until she gets exhausted. She also couldnt really control the inner beast and as a product was a lot more violent and aggrressive. I'd guess for DRKs it amps their magical attks and the darkside in general. I'd like to think the magical attacks are sort of like physical manifestations of the inner moodiness. Much like doing math to make arcanima come to life. I still have to develop Kat's dorkeside.

This makes things much less complicated for me... But hey if you wanna try (getting her in trouble first then) saving her I guess we could try to whip something up. Some sort of heresy or other ishgardian crime related thing. Because of something or other. My brain doesnt work atm. I mean, I'd think [redacted] would not be so severe as to arrest someone and put them on trial simply for asking around about something. But I guess there might still be a shitload of really gung ho ishgardians out there, there's that possibility at least.

So I take it I'll have to figure out the State of Ishgard this takes place in....because I also doubt [redacted] would be so severe after coming into power. Hmmm so the point of asking this could even be rendered moot then. Ah well thanks for input at least. I'm honestly not sure which state of Ishgard my friend in question is RPing in. So it could be she asked Ramen to poke around, whether it's during or post msq. Which complicates this. So much for something phoenix wright-y or Tyrion on trial...y. I do wonder if outsiders face harsher trial conditions or not. Since everyome is all going on about noble v commoner. Ramen is Ul'dahn not Ishgardian

Kat Differences: -Gender. (Well yeahh) -Knows how to fight. -Can cook. -Only has one parent. -Subject to biweekly 15min breaks. -Waaaay more broken emotionally. -Has actual firearms experience. -A year older than me. -Doesnt always have wear glasses. -Horsebird. -Tailor weaving skills. -Is actually employed...sort of. -Has actually been in a relationship (only to see that ship burn and sink so many times bwahahaha) Similarities: -Travels the world (though just se and e asia for me) -Stupidly persistent. -Glasses. -Taste in food...namely drowning it in spices. -Pet doggie dog -Close to the family -Tech savvy (me with electronics, her with the engineering) -No car. -Impatience. -Prone to making stupid decisions.

Kat'll always be sketching something. Or going Garrus Vakarian on her ever evolving gun. Otherwise she's trying not to be hungry, cooking up something in her kitchen(though recent IC dev't makes this hard) just day to day acts. Though prolonged periods see her trying to get past that open stretch of land from the chocobo forest to the hinter lands if not being another adventurer doing job board requests.

Title speaks for itself. I was wondering if any of you fine folk could shed some light on it. The severity of say... Being accused of inciting heresy among the good people of Ishgard. The scenario is not unlike what happens to Girlphinaud and Bestaru. Except I'm damn well sure Ramen is her own legal team in the tribunal. If it even gets there. Since I'd like to say Ramen got apprehended in Ishgard doing a favor a friend. Which involved asking the wrong questions. Again do they get locked for all eternity or executed? Can the right to invoke trial by combat by anyone or is that a right reserved for just the good people of Ishgard? She is a black mage so nuking her way out isnt exactly impossible but I dunno, she'd be a fugitive, also I wanna roleplay a court proceeding....

Did I mention this guy is helpful? Well at the very least he's taught me how I could make headway with my leveling while I wait for heaven and hell to freeze over for dungeons.

Accept it and make the most of it and conveniently forget Kath was originaly a guy. I've designed them to be pretty damn tenacious in their own right. Declining would probably burn more energy/sec than accepting and coping. Also not everyday your wife's a snowcap. Or a catgirl. Or a....whatever stereotype there is for au ra.

Those coats are notoriously stubborn. It took several runs for me to get my healer coat for Gogon's glamour. And I'm going to force inflict more of it on myself later for the other classes - I desire all the coats. Oddly enough, the only other one I have is the DRG one. :blush: Hope the coats drop for you. I'm still on the prowl for the drg one for my level 26 LNC (wololol) aside from the red tank one. I swear if Kath/Kurt's color scheme just wasn't predominantly red.... Or yanno if I could trade those sets. Ah well.

Ahh this is probably just a self inflicted nightmare but c'mon, is the drop rate for the Library chest piece really worse than the Demon Dragoon Mail from WoD? I have not stopped running and I swear I can put together 5 Monk sets, 3 WHM sets, 2 AST and NIN sets, complete with weapons. I just want my red sherlock coat so I can let go, level MCH and really start farming for tomestones of erotics.

Kurt is stupidly superficial given the chance. Nice figure, boobs, butt and a gòod boobs to butt ratio. Short sporty hair is a plus and if its anything colored red is a double plus. Of course those are still retained as Kath. With an added section for dudes taller than her and at least toned. Again if he has an affinity for red.... .... OuO-b

Echoing Enla's sentiment, that's probably the best way yet if you're playing multiple characters. Level the alt to wherever you need them for RP. However, if you can really tolerate doing the same thing over and over again. I sometimes switch when my main's rested exp bonus is all used up. Use up the alt's rested exp then switch back to main. Back and forth but it really runs a high risk of burning you out.

Could say in some way Kurt's already snapped. It's just that he's good at hiding it. There's little and less that he could care about in the world now. The most notable is his family, yes including his pets, and the really close friends. He had held on to his Maelstrom position specifically to keep an eye out for Wineport but has since let go of it and tranferred to the Flames when he learned his mother and her crew had taken to sailing again. Ramen and Nah involve the people close to them as well. Well for Ramen there's the added factor of what her past brings. Nah'd be realizing all she does, all the heroing was a lie. Khujin's defensive of her lifestyle and tribe.

Dont worry, DRK is getting a stigma too because half of them suck ass because it's just people playing them because omg edgy cool cloud strife stuffs. Yesterday I almost got booted outta Fractal because the party said "You die one time and im kicking you, dork knight. Sick of all the bad DRK tanks." I mean when I didn't die once and we cleared I got an apology but still. Reminds me of the time me and my turret absolutely stole hate fromt he paladin and MCH tanked DV... that was a nice.

I dunno if this is my own fault for not riding the DRK hype train and cruising DRG and MCH to 50. I dunno if this is my own fault for getting absorbed in the 3.0 story instead of leveling or just being late. But don't you just hate it when you're trying to level a decent DPS class to 60 but then NO ONE runs the lower level dungeons anymore? I do. Like the game or the community just wants you to stay as a below level 26 something. I mean fuck leveling LNC and being a decent DPS amirite? Not that MCH is bad, it's just very RNG reliant and carries a stigma which automatically gets you BOOTED regardless of whether or not it's DV or Sohm Al or lower. But hey fuck that too. Fuck being versatile so you can help more people as a DPS and TANK rather than just a TANK. Like if it takes dumping my 600k into a group of people to dungeon run me to 51. I'll do it. I'll be broker than dirt if that's what it takes.

One of em used to but then shit's happened to him so that crosses it out. Then there's Nah whose self proclaimed occupation is half-baked heroine. She's read a few too many of what might probably pass for DC/Marvel stuff of Eorzea and idolizes the characters. She's always wanted to be the kind that protects and helps.

This is such a cool theory, even if it is a bit crazy. Granted, I'm not exactly thinking that our PC's could be the primal of light. Maybe we'd be something more than just a primal. We do kick their asses on a nearly regular basis regardless of whatever form or strength it possesses. That in itself may just prove us being higher than them....
