I'm a huge Fallout fangirl..And honestly I just don't understand the "I can't play who I WANT TO PLAY". That's just silly . There are so many exceptional games that don't let you customize everything about the protagonist..Just seems like a silly thing to be critical over >.>.... *hops away, shouting as she goes* FALLOUT 4 LOOKS LIKE EVERYTHING I EVER WANTED AND MORE:cactuar:

I'm kind of bummed that more people are not suggesting you play Fallout 1 and 2. Fallout 1 is a fairly quick game and it's awesome. Fallout 2 is longer, and an even better RPG all around. There's just so much possibility and of course the awesome unforgiving "god I hope I saved recently" moments only older games can offer. Fallout 3 is... "OK". It's my least favorite in the series tbh. It just didn't really feel as much like a Fallout game as New Vegas did. But I agree that Fallout 3 will have much more to do with Fallout 4 than any other item in the series. My suggestion: start with the early Fallouts because they're cheap, pretty quick to play through, and provide an excellent introduction to setting and theme. Buuuut play them all if you can lol.

Haha this is so Amelia. She's also tired of her father threatening to kill any guy he sees talking to her. "Dad I can take care of myself! I'm a woman grown!"
-
I just react to things ic based on what I see. Half naked man? Amelia will blush and be uncomfortable but around naked ladies she won't care at all cuz they're all the same parts and she's not attracted to women. But ye, tongue and cheek topic. Pls be shirtless, I am ooc mirin hmmm~ ^θ^

Is the "Whetstone" on Mondays going to be a real thing going forward or was it a 1 time only thang? Just wondering 'cause I'd LOVE to have 2 opportunities a week to feel the hate from RNGods :)8-):frustrated: -
Well that's more the fault of the person not having willpower and drive than the concept of weightlifting. I changed my lifestyle cold turkey and I've been at it for over a year and a half, with a break in between only because I had to have surgery lol. And people that lift don't "guzzle protein shakes" they use them to supplement their protein macros for the day. Don't be ignant, jussaiyan. Building muscle IS healthy, regardless of if you do it in a gym or with your body weight. Like I said, it improves quality of life to actually have strength.

I just dont like the way they look at all tbh...>θ> The males have hourglass shapes with big hips it's just nopenopenope and the females kind of look like child aliens..*shudders* nopenopenope

[ ]Single [ ]Taken [X]At the gym gettin' that tight bod and doesn't have time for boys (This gif cuz it reminds me so much of Amelia's Court of Cards talent routine )

If you want to work out at home, I'd honestly invest in some free weights and a bench. Though, honestly all gyms aren't THAT expensive, so I wouldn't rule gyms out completely. Shop around for something affordable. But I can't stress enough how important strength training is. Not just for aesthetics, but it also improves your quality of life. And as far as "toning" (I hate this word with a passion...) you can't "tone" what you don't have. Cardio is important for endurance, but strength training really goes the extra mile. Whether you use weights or simply bodyweight, a very important rule to achieve results: go to failure. This means, whatever exercise you're doing, do it until you couldn't do another rep even if you wanted to. Going to absolute muscle failure is very important because if you're not breaking down that muscle tissue, it will not grow back stronger. Another extremely (if not THE MOST) important part is your diet. You need to be consuming at least 1.5g of protein per lb of bodyweight. Make sure you're eating healthy carbohydrates, and make sure you're getting reasonable portions of healthy fats. You can work out and work out and work out, but your body won't reward you unless you're giving it the good food it needs to grow. Avoid processed foods, choose things with minimal ingredients but IDEALLY cook everything fresh. My favorite resource is http://www.bodybuilding.com/ It has workouts, trainers, recipes, articles, an extensive exercise database that you can use to search exercises for specific body parts (and they include videos to show you how to do them ), forums to ask questions, a store to purchase equipment and supplements (I get all my protein powder from here, best prices!) and basically ANYTHING you could use to figure out how to start your journey. Stay hungry for your goal, remind yourself that every decision you make either works TOWARDS or AWAY from it. "If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you."

Literally amazing, keep posting cuz I love looking at it!!

Haha I got surprisingly accurate results for my peeps. Amelia is actually 20-21 ish in my mind but a little younger isn't bad . And as for me, I'm 24 (editted age cuz I had a typo ) irl so it's pretty close!

as long as its pertinent to the topic they are fine, just add some content with it, not just drop the GIF/Meme and go. Ahh this makes sense. 100% fair imho, sorry for misunderstanding! -

I'm genuinely sad that gifs and may-mays aren't allowed D:... They can be so much fun if used comedically and in a topical way -

Bopdoot replied to Edvyn's topic in Off-Topic Discussion
Plz don't report me but all of these topics about "what would YOUR character do with/to ____!?!?!?" are so very asinine and awful and completely spam the sections and it makes it so hard for me to find a good, informative topic to read ;-; edit: Amelia doesn't eat toast, she eats a steak for breakfast, a steak for lunch, and a steak for dinner...and cookies for dessert. -

This seems safe and sound to me, though I'm a fairly new member. My ONLY concern is how the point system labels the person accruing points. People have bad days, people also can word things improperly. We all know tone and intent can often be lost via text. I guess I'm worried that people who have "points" are going to be looked at as upstarts even if what they did were minor infractions. I'm assuming the mods are above this, but I felt like it warranted a note..As someone who suffered something like this before in this community. I'll keep things anonymous and brief, but in a nutshell I made a joke in poor taste assuming people would know it was a joke based on context. They didn't and got offended, even after I apologized. And after more genuine apologies on my end I was still the victim of a witch hunt. ONE MONTH LATER the "mod" of this situation told me that he viewed me as a drama starter and troublesome person over this one situation that (as I said before) I had genuinely apologized over. It felt more like a "we just don't like you" than a "you were being offensive" situation...It was unfair and honestly bothered me, and I'm fairly hard to bother on the internet lol. Anyways, my point is: as long as we're not vilifying people that have warnings and treating them differently or MODERATING them differently or in a biased way, everything should be golden. Just because LouieSueSteven89 may have made a few poorly-mannered responses over the past couple months does not mean we should automatically assume he's an upstart or an "asshole" (to use the token phrase). That is all! :cactuar: -
In RP I catch myself making characters that are blonde haired, blue eyed cuties that are musically inclined. It's so self - insert but I don't really have an excess of time so I default to something easy to RP that doesn't require thought.8-)

Velveeta nacho dip. I just... :'D

I looove your glasses, and you're super cute!

Cuz I said I'd take a picture of my "new" haircut (even though I had this haircut all thru college ). http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp95/_-Princess-Buttercup-_/Me%20pix/newbangs_zpsmvovlh7a.jpg[/img]

I sure do like this girl here: https://www.youtube.com/user/ratbirdchampion/ she's ultimate perfection.8-) Haha ok but shameless self promotion aside there are really only 2 youtubers that I have "religiously" followed. Funhaus (previously Inside Gaming) and they have too many great moments to choose from so I'll just link their website: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCboMX_UNgaPBsUOIgasn3-Q/featured And then there's the guy that trolls Second Life like a pro. Good ol' Charlie Winsmore/Charliezzz

I guess they're using movie Canon, not book...they'd have to since at the end of the book.... I don't know how to make spoilers but basically Hammond falls down a hill and gets eaten by compys and the Costa rican government nukes the Island lol

The first is my favorite but to be honest the book was sooo good and had a lot more excitement. I never read the second one though because I started A Song of Ice and Fire.. Chris Pratt is amazing though, so I'm stoked lol.
