  1. That happens a lot in England, too. People will ask how you are instinctively but then when you answer they're disinterested or just don't respond when you ask the same thing in turn. I'm so glad this isn't a thing in the Netherlands, people would legit tell others to mind their own business and leave them alone.
  2. btw rp a female roe called Rotten Cove you said u would do it many months ago
  3. ffs man u put us in anticipation and then u make no poll instantly
  4. You haven't experienced queuing up, walking on escalators until you've done it the Dutch way. Manslaughter. Honestly, it is a national sport to push each other over sometimes I think. That is one thing I miss from being in the UK, the brits have mastered it. Especially the trains is a fucking disaster here, people legit have broken bones over the pushing ect. It's so silly, but we all do it. Actually this sums it just well http://www.invadingholland.com/guides-to-holland/how-to-queue-like-a-dutchman Step 4: The Collapse As the last person exits the train the cluster of eager Dutch people will immediately collapse in on itself as everyone tries to rush forward through the doors at once. Arms, elbows, bags, large suitcases, hot cups of tea or coffee and body mass are all legitimate strategies to keep people back and gain ground on others. A battle cry is optional. If a passenger is too slow getting off the train before this happens they are doomed. They will be swept back up onto the train by the unstoppable current of oncoming passengers and find themselves at the next station before they realize what has happened.
  5. Today one of the villages I used to spend shitton of time in when younger is going to probably riot over immigration crisis. I got my livestream ready. /popcorns
  6. ... it really doesn't work like that but for the snowflake WoL. It is like cheating a test at most, still you need lots of training and education. But I suppose rich people would simply buy their ways into having soul stones yeah.
  7. Sadly enough au ra weren't around on Eorzea before HW (With a select few who came with the Domans, but they kept themselves out of sight, knowing Eorzea is racist as fuck). So I fear your backstory is one who you really couldn't do if you want it to be lorewise correct, but in the end, its your subscription you're paying, and your character. That's not entirely accurate, since the DRK shows us that there were Au Ra in Coerthas before. Granted, things sucked for them. Yeah but... that sort of included being executed, and generally not being treated nicely to say the least Might just have been Ishgard. In truth, I'm 100% sure if they weren't a playable race, they would be happily still executed for looking like dragon/voidspawns, and treated just as shitty as beasttribes ;_; but hey...
  8. Race but the option if you want to be from Ul'dah, any other the other races will do fine. I'm sure you could have Garleans treat your xaela like shit back in Othard though, if you really wanna go for the same sort of backstory + au ra

  10. It's probably a Full Party. There's obviously 6. I believe there's an extra person in the back, a skinny WAR. So 7? There is possibly a sch in the background because why have a freaking light party of 7 when you can have a full party with 2 healers and 2 tanks and 4 DPS D: Man I kinda wanna just do that now, drop the nuke onto a level 16 boss, but uuh yeah, I guess they just wanted to take something as least spoilery and seeming this is the first boss?
  11. Vyce, you should really, really learn to dig into lore before posting. Pugilists don't use soulstones, Monks do, however it doesn't suddenly unlocked your super saiyan aether wielding by touching a magical stone. Monk 30 quest screenshots PS for some reason I managed to screen him only with his eyes closed lol
  12. Depending on how severe the consequences are; I flat out tell people as soon heresy gets dropped in Virella's roleplay, she will be playing a snitch, and leave it up to them if they wish to continue. Besides that? Just go with the flow and see what happens! Just when it has dire effects on the other party involved, I will talk with them OOC as well.
  13. I used them on Ave, seeming they are given when you finished your novice status as a Monk; however Ave's a dick in that regard, and only Monks who have been given one back in Ala Mhigo are worthy of them, else she will be severely tempted to take it from you if you happen to flaunt one around if said char logically not has the age to be Ala Mhigo temple trained, finding it a huge disgrace/insult to the Order ect. It's fun to roleplay an older grumpy Monk in that regard. That said, except for the classes people pointed out so far I don't really see soulstones as something one MUST have to roleplay a class, so I don't mind if people use or not use them. They can add something to roleplay, but they are far from mandatory for most classes.
  14. To a degree, Ave has monk at 60, and she is one. Vi's has her AST at 60 as well, but that said I levelled my classes for roleplaying purposes, not for raiding, else I'd still be a SCH/SMN (Stopped raiding with HW)
  15. If anything that 80% money back guarantee is going to justify it even more to sell houses at high prices. I'm kinda sure this is going to do more damage then good, with the exception of a few people getting lucky enough to snatch a plot who happens to be open.
  16. Should Not Deal With != Does Not Exist. There are FCs out there that lock out certain members from using the stables and the gardens, or restrict them from using them in certain ways. It's not unreasonable therefore that those people would seek to have property of their own that they can do what they want with, including having unrestricted access to the features that they want, whether it be access to those features that they did not have, or simply more gardening and decorating space. This ties into the former point that I was making; the two are not comparable because there are other factors that have the potential to take place in one, that would not happen in the other, in which someone has complete control. Some people may have reasons for not leaving and finding a new FC. Maybe they have business there to attend to. Maybe they've got friends there, whatever. But not everything is as simple as shutting bad people out of your life. Oh if we speak about gardening for example? Maybe the FC is using the garden just to grow minions, glazenuts to make gil for the FC ect, so the FC leader is locked out for using it for his or her own personal gain. My old FC never had the leader doing anything with the house, an officer did the decoration, the gardening and all that, he was really just the FC leader in name, and I think most FCs are ran like that. I feel as if I'm bashing my head against a brick wall now though, and you're only willing to see it from one side, whereas I already said the system is stupid multiply times, but every argument you've brought up can be turned around so easily as well. Not everyone is some greedy booman who happens to own a FC house you know? If you don't like how it is being ran, well, there's always other options, such as making gil to buy your own home, joining another FC ect. That said, people without a FC, and with a personal house, don't have access to a personal rooms in their house. Should we go whine about that as well? I don't see anyone making a massive issue out of that as well, whereas I see plenty of FCs using alts ect to make rooms for their roleplay purposes, while people without a FC but a personal house have just a house to roleplay in. Housing system is massively flawed. Yes this is one step, but trying to bash down the people who happen to have gil for both just sounds like jealously.
  17. It's not flawed because it's not an applicable comparison. There are mechanical differences between rooms and houses, such as the inability to garden, or train chocobos. The two are not, and will not be on equal enough footing for a comparison, until they are functionally identical. But it is. Why would one person have a claim on one house, why he or she could not be giving it to a FC and allow more people to use these features as well? They can do very much the same with their FC garden, stables ect as well without being the leader. It is by your logic still ONE person owning it, seeming it does not seem to matter if a person owns a FC already or not. So why only FC leaders should suffer from being targeted? Personal housing is flawed in general; people with lots of gil will own houses, who don't have it won't, simple as that. That is what SE needs to address, not the few odd exceptions who happen to have both. Except nobody is victimizing FC leaders. It is YOUR house. Having a house is optional. It is YOUR FC. Having a FC is optional. Having a FC and a house means other people can use the house that you OPTIONALLY opted for. You can furnish it and use it the way you like, but other people can use and live in it too. They can restrict their customization to their private quarters, and everybody wins. Then the FC leader in question is a massive dick, and you shouldn't be dealing with those type of people in the first place Not to mention, lots of plots seem to be bought with gil thrown together by people on top of that. If a FC leader paid the house for it him/herself? I totally get you when you put that statement up, but often FC leaders tend to be well, just FC leaders in name, and the FC house bought together with friends. @Reilan because I'm too lazy to quote Yeah, I totally agree though. As I said it is a silly system in the first place. I think they should had never allowed people to buy their personal house in the wards, they should had come up with a different system for it. Surely it would suck if it for example was all instanced, and we all had to go trough the same entrance to get to our personal house ect, but it would at least give everyone a chance to get a house, while the FCs can have them out in the wards, and keep them in the open world. But... it is too late for that, and it's left for SE to fix this now.
  18. It's not flawed because it's not an applicable comparison. There are mechanical differences between rooms and houses, such as the inability to garden, or train chocobos. 19. Well you could put that logic to anyone who is in a FC "Why don't you just use your personal room? Why do you need your own house? Why don't you give it away to some FC? You selfish jerk!". It's a wee bit flawed, greedy or not, we can apply it to personal housing in general. I for one never think they should have allowed personal housing, or made a different system for it. Wildstar system for personal housing? Yes please!
  20. Players that pay for the game. SE made it possible to keep houses indefinitely. We complained, and said "NOPE CANNOT HAVE THIS," and SE changed things accordingly. Still nothing being changed about FC leaders owning their own personal house besides technically holding the FC house as well. Honestly, I have never ever seen anyone being mad about this back on my old server, but for people on Balmung being pissy about it due to us roleplayers putting so much more value on it. And it is not as if they can be stopped if they would implement it, unless they would make it an account wide lock, seeming alts are a thing as well. People with lots of gil will always own houses one way or the other, but FCs being screwed over is regrettably, but think about it, how many FC leaders own a house besides their FC house? I know... one? It isn't going to solve anything but for pissing a few people off for the sake of a very few others on the large scale of things. Start making gil, and you too can find your personal house until SE conjures up a better solution; this is but a step towards fixing it, but people who worked for their houses, why take it away from them?
  21. Regardless of how one would treat their FC on an individual level, I believe they're talking about how it functions on a technical level. If there is no technical distinction as far as what is available to the player that owns the house in regards to Personal and FC housing, then they've merely made a factually correct statement. True, but I still see a FC as a mutual effort, and hells, if someone can afford a personal house besides that? Who are we to say "NOPE CANNOT HAVE THIS" while SE makes it possible. Giving personal housing was stupid on SE part, but it is not as if they can revert their decision now. No need to get salty towards FC leaders who happen to have both now. However people hoarding houses on alts ect to sell them off later for me, that's a thing what irritates me as well, but once more, flaw on SE side, not so much on the player.
  22. Yeah, aside from the gil barrier, I don't see how this really helps that whole scam of people buying up multiple properties and selling them to people at outrageous markups. They should institute a system where a player can only own one house at a time (be it a FC house or private home). Not sure if agree with that, think FCs leaders should be fucked over and having the option denied to have their own house. They basically already do. There is little to no difference between owning a FC house with your own private room and owning your own house. You can decorate both however you want. You are not beholden to your FC members to decorate your house a certain way. They are the exact same thing. Just in one instance other people can come in and fuck around regardless of lock settings as long as they have the same tag as you, and in the other instance people can only come in and fuck around if you leave your house unlocked. Don't agree with that, FCs are a mutual effort in the end, not just some sole God who rules it. Would be very dickish if you treated your FC like that, but that is a completely different topic about morals and how to run a FC.
  23. They should add more wards depending on how active a server is ect, I imagine non-Balmung servers don't have as much of an issue with it as we have it here. Although that said my old FC leader on Cerberus sold his small house for 15mil as well when someone randomly offered him, so I'm not sure how dire the situation is on other servers. The housing system is simply being abused due to SE giving them the option to. Hells, many people will just log on once ever 45 days on their chars, walk into their house and just keep it like that. I don't think much will be fixed with this, it's a start but yeah...
  24. I would offer Virella, but she's kinda away from the scene until MQS hits and I can decide onto her storyline, so if you got the patience to wait until 3.1, we can roleplay! Else there is Avelyn, but she's an Ala Mhigan, and not quite Ishgardian That said, feel free to poke me ingame if you ever wish to join the Ishgard LS
