You can roleplay as you wish, however. If you want my honest opinion? I don't like that character concept idea at all, I would go for someone who properly has been studying the art of summoners, and not just had it happen to over night. But hey, your sub, your roleplay. Just keep in mind the more lore abiding roleplayers might not be seeking you out for roleplay if you wish to go down that route. Arcanist on the other hand is something you could do a lot easier! Carbuncles are easier to control, and lot easier to implement in your roleplay. And a lot more adorable, so would be an arcanist with a carbuncle by a more valid option for you if you want to roleplay with pets out?

Well Vyce, I've seen somethings what would tell me different, sadly enough... Anyhow! I never had issues with my lalafell (Ave was a lalafell for a while, before I namechanged/fantasiaed, can you believe that?), just for the fact I roleplayed her as a serious character. She wasn't cutesy, she didn't act overly childish. Hells, she was a die hard Ul'dahn merchant who loved dabbling in all sorts of trades! I wouldn't just give up onto roleplaying a lalafell just yet if that is what YOU enjoy. However, if you don't like it any longer, or don't think the concept is going to work, you're but a namechange and fantasia away from rerolling something new. And that's totally understandable as well.

Few more weeks before I can pick this up with Virella again. She will be in the Mist for a while due to her story, and Avelyn eh, doesn't quite work on an Ala Mhigan! But sure, I can pick it up again once it make sense on Virella, however I'm planning to change it into a two-weekly thing instead

Personally I would just remake a character. Hells, use same background story to a degree, but tweak it to fit another race, give the char in question a lore appropriate name, because hey, midlanders don't quite run around with elezen names! However, glamours as shown in the AST questline is an option as well, given the person gone from looking like a Duskwigh, to looking like a Midlander, with ease on top of that as well. It is totally possible, but lots of people would refuse to roleplay with that as well, and it still doesn't change your character to really be a Midlander. I'd really go for a 2.0 version of your 'old' character. Tweak background, give her another name ect.

Nope! There's a few FCs who use tumblr only, but most tend to post onto the RPC. Honestly with Tumblr's spammy nature, I prefer the RPC by a mile for creating events. I do see people making posts on both mediums though. I cannot say there's more to be found on Tumblr in terms of events, but for the odd one passing by. The RPC still rules out, simply due to the better outlay for it.

With some odd single players next to it I admit though, I'm a whore for Crusader Kings II, but that game is a fucking pain with DLC crap as well, so I gotta share Melkire's sentiment here. Fuck DLC crap. Seriously though, Game of Thrones mod is super fun to play. Besides that I played quite some Witcher 3, because I get to bang hot sorceresses? Sign me the fuck up. Joking aside, I got a massive ladyboner for Geralt. Didn't get the DLC though, although it is severely tempting seeming everyone is so positive about it, and it actually seems worth it. And some Fallout 4, but in truth, I'm just waiting for more mods, because fuck the character models of that game, and I'm a vain bitch 90% of the time.

I like variation. But. Give me heartwrenching drama & conflict. That is my main thing. Not that it is required, but I love it to bits. People dying, lovers going for each other's throats (hi Domri and Vi), friendships shattered, misunderstandings ect. Hells, I love me some good conflict. So I guess dramatic roleplay? I don't know, I like to keep things interesting between characters by giving them some sort of conflict to deal with, even if it is just a minor thing. Eh, I do not know how to word it properly! Not that this is required for my roleplay. I love all sorts of things!
