Honestly? I think you're way over thinking and dramatising this. Sit back, relax and just ignore the things you do not like. In truth, with the exception of NoModsLand, which you really shouldn't take serious at all, I think the RPC, or roleplayers in general, aren't as bad as you try to make them out to be. In truth? I think with these type of topics you're sort of being the very person you dislike according to your wall of text but... /shrug. That is my 2 gil on the matter. Injury? Go ahead. That said in Avelyn's case? Be smart about it. She can heal herself quite well, especially in combat. Outside of it? Eh, she can, not so easy though. Virella you can beat the shit out of. Permanent injuries though? I'd sooner discuss that first OOC. Not that I mind, not at all, but I admit, as long no RP addons are around, I won't go for dismembering my characters for example, seeming I would need to constantly emote that out if she were missing a hand of sorts. Death? Eh. In this game? Really depends. Avelyn's fate is sort of decided since the day I made her, and she's probably going to die when Ala Mhigo gets retaken, if ever. But that may change, but it is certainly a point I would strongly consider letting her die. And if Franz ever comes out as a Garlean, people know Franz and Ave have been doing their odd relationships thing (honestly idk what the hell those two got going on an OOC level), and Franz gets killed for it? I'd imagine Avelyn would be next on the angry mob's list. But I know Franz ain't going to do that any time soon, so that ain't happening Virella? Eh, I thought about it for a while, but I figured I may as well bench her until I feel like picking her story up again. I roleplay her from time to time, just don't feel like doing much with her currently. Personally if this game was easier on rerolling, more alt friendly, and the community would play with world pvp/permadeath by default? Oh yes, I would kill characters, including my own, left right and centre. I come from a server where this was the standard really. People didn't play retarded concepts quickly either, because the community would quality control itself (For example, try cheering on Theodoric's action in Little Ala Mhigo would get you murdered, either by GMs and NPCs, or just by roleplayers. Stupid character concepts and actions didn't survive for long.). And people were a lot less cocky if they didn't have the skills, or protection to back their shit up. It had it up and downsides, but I like FFXIV as it is, although I do admit, if the other community's PvP/permadeath rules somehow became a thing, I would make Avelyn a lot less forgiving (and drunk) and start murdering a lot of people on her, seeming that is sort of what sober Ave is supposed to do with anyone who gives her a lip >_> (It's one of the downfalls when you get lore "savage Fists kill without hesitation" yet I get the odd person still trying to berate her, and I have to dance around the whole killing people. Alcohol, it is good stuff for mellowing out Ave). And hells, if that would cost her her life? So be it, seeming I could just reroll another character easily! And I'd totally expect Virella never ever having left Ishgard/Coerthas if this was a thing, seeming there's so many people who dislike her, and sooner see her gone. But... FFXIV ain't the place for that, so instead I dumb down things a lot, for my own pleasure and that for others. We didn't sign up for permadeaths when we entered this community after all.

For what's it's worth, Ave dislikes anything what has to do with Ul'dah, and she would gladly stir shit, especially with Brass Blades. The whole political struggle is lost upon her, but she gladly add to shit stirring. Because you know. Hobo Ala Mhigan who dislikes Ul'dah.

An Ishgardian temple knight. Not alone, but with a group of people. Harassing citizens ect. The evil type of character. It is a thing people might take wrong OOC, the sole reason I never bothered to roll one!

Once more I wish to point out that when one of the LS leaders asks you to drop a conversation or topic in the LS chat, that this will be done as soon the LS lead requests it. Frankly I hate to hand out warnings, but next time this happens, people may or may not be warned if not removed from the LS in the future. We are not here to police people's roleplay, and I will not tolerate such 'discussions'. Surely lore can be discussed, character concepts and what not, but calling someone bad or telling people they should or shouldn't be roleplayed with? That is strictly offlimits and I don't wish to ever see it again in this LS. We're a group of various roleplayers. Ones who don't mind playing with the grey areas of lore. Others stricly keep to what we have, and others see the lore as a vague guideline of sorts. Neither one is good or bad, at the end of the day roleplay with the people who you think suits your roleplaying preferences! Of course mistakes are forgiven, but once more. Don't police people's roleplay.

I can echo the EU statement here! If you were in the open, you were open to be approached. The whole skittish outlook onto 'interrupting' roleplay baffles me, especially in this game seeming we got so many private spots, housing and what not where you can really lock yourself away at if you want to have privacy. Really, I've never seen in all my years on WoW EU people acting all "Oh my, I might be interrupting roleplay!" If people really wanted to be alone, they would just switch to party, or instances, raidzones, Skype or anything else. If you were in the open, in roleplay gear, you were yielding yourself to any type of roleplay. Surely bumping into events was another thing, but even that most people didn't mind, at all! And honestly, the only 'private' roleplay you would have on WoW EU was either fluff or ERP, the rest everyone just did in the open >_>

I have to admit the only requirement for me is making sure people cannot lurk onto my screen while roleplaying. And I cannot roleplay with someone who's in the same room as I am irl, unless it is at events or something, and preferable still not with one another. That said, I have the odd tick I got to mute my sound when roleplay is getting too 'intense' and I need to focus. What... rarely happens I admit. And I bounce around a lot onto my chair in general. I rarely sit still. I hate it when people catch me doing that irl :< But really, the only requirement is that I don't like people lurking onto my screen while roleplaying! And I can't do it with the same person in the same room irl. That's really about it.

Blargh, to add more now I'm out of roleplay. There are Monks yes, however there's very few of them left, but there are some out there who are becoming Monks. Then you sort of ish have the whole Fist of Rhalgr vs being a Monk thing. Monk nor Fist is something you don't become overnight (unless you're the Warrior of Light, but lets not go into that), the latter being something... I'd personally would reserve for only older Ala Mhigan characters. A Pugilist wanting to become a Monk would be a nice thing to start off with if you ain't sure onto the lore. We got a whole bunch of Monk roleplayers in the LS who'd be happy enough to explain things. Honestly, I would explain a great deal more, but I don't want to spoil things on accident!

LAUNCH THE LIFERAFTS Had over trough from midday till just a half hour ago or so. Honestly, I got so much food and booze left I'm probably just going to be drunk tomorrow and see if there's some people on for rp, or else play some games/watch netflix. Day after my mom will be dropping by, idk what we will do yet my sister fell asleep on my couch earlier though, that was cute. I had hoped to see a 2016 fanfest for Europe so I could meet up with my old EU FC, but nope, gotta wait longer then I've expected but on the upside, maybe around that time we will have the next expansion rolling in soon tm? We will see I guess!

Oh yesssssssss. Virella is very xenophobic what ends up ending calling all non-Ishgardians terrible racist things. Like really, really, really racist. I had angry tumblr posts about Virella's behaviour. It is one of the reasons I sort of keep Virella out of public these days, next to a few irrelevant issues, and ensure people aren't batshit insane OOC before I start roleplaying with them.
