I currently have 3 characters as well. Savona Drake who is my RP main and the on who gets most of my attention game wise. Also my PVE main though I don't so much care about raid content anymore. I then have U'khoa Ohhbi and Emoni Yaegar who I consider RP alts. I currently am open to contacts with them but they are pretty involved in Discord RP only with a friend of mine.

Also just to add, my personal opinion of Heavensward Main Story is far better then the vanilla games main story. It's personal the best MMO storyline I've played.

Welcome to the RPC! If you are just looking to snoop on others RP while remaining unnoticed, Balmung is where you will want to go. It's the most active of the servers and there around teh evening EST hours, anyways from 30-50 players located in the Quicksand (tavern located in Ul'dah) and the majority of them are Roleplayers. That being said, Balmung is constantly locked to new characters unless you manage to grab a spot right after maintenance. However that spot is only available for maybe 3 seconds before it's closed. A much more reliable way is to create a server full of characters, and then after the 3 day wait period, pay $18.00 to move all the characters over to Balmung at once.

Odd to think that the predication about computers was they would be so efficient and reliable that we'd be down to 3 day work weeks. Now, my work PC cannot run without an error every 3 days so not sure what genius came up with that shit. Anyways, sorry to hear about the PC issues. Perhaps some Skype/Discord RP will be in your future, and you always have the forums here to browse on your phone.

Oh I can remember when curiosity got the best of me and I dabbled into RP a bit. Nerves can certainly play a factor but once you get past them and focus on your character, things become a lot easier and more fun! As far as where to get started well, that's a heavy question. First you should figure out what type of character you have an interest in. next, adapt their personality to said character and you will be on your way. Give them a good balance of strengths vs weaknesses. What scares them, what they like to do for fun, how the behave when confronted with a difficult choice etc. Once you have your basics down, try doing some light RP with another and see how it all fits together. And of course, feel free to ask for any help here on the forums. Lots of RP veterans around to show you the ropes and help yo with your character.

Welcome to the RPC! And as far as your question goes, I like to give the character a general guideline of who/what I want them to be, and then do a few light RP scenes and see what happens with them. I've found that a lot of times, how I end up RPing them is total opposite then I had originally planned. Funny how it works that way.

As far as lore goes, I believe both are plausible. And if you're seeking opnions, then I think it would be interesting to go the Garlean route. Perhaps occasionally something triggers her past memory and her loyalties can transfer slightly between the two. Almost like a split personality type of thing.

Not sure how many others do this, but I almost always check a character's search info before walkup. So figured others do as well. So now my search info clarifies that "RP Tag = IC" and so far it's worked pretty well.

I've noticed lately that party finder as a few advertisements up looking for entertainers, bards, dancers, that sort of thing. May just want to keep an ye out there as well. Wouldn't hurt to just check and see what they are about.

Hello there! I have three characters you could pretty much choose from, all somewhat different from each other. Following is just a brief example of them. If you have any more questions about one of them feel free to shoot over a PM! U'khoa Ohhbi: A local Ul'dah raised orphan, this Seeker turned to a life of crime from an early age. Now at almost 33yrs old and unhappy with his current ranking and position in one of the local syndicates, he's since left and is seeking to build his own. Usually keeps to himself and when he does decide to attend a tavern of some sort, usually secretive and almost refuses to discuss his private life but will always share a drink with another in case it's an opportunity to do business or obtain information from the locals Emoni Yaeger An upbeat, over the top flirtatious Hyur Midlander who loves to get her way. She has no qualms about asking someone else to pay for her drinks or meals and will throw herself at them to try and make it happen. She spent her childhood as an orphan by U'khoas side and though she views him as a brother, her not having any immediate family is troubling for her and in turn she trys and drum up plenty of attention from others to make up for it. Savona Drake Originally born in Ul'dah, at the age of 3yrs old, this Hyur Highlander was carted off to the surrounding lands of Ishgard and lived with her merchant father. Her father became rather wealthy with his sales to local adventurers and Ishgard itself. Growing up around IShgard, all she heard was stories of Dragoons and dragons, and thrilled in it all. When the citites gates were finally opened and her and her father entered, she immediately enlisted in the military there. Given her non-native background she was not very well accepted and is often the brunt of many cruel jokes and pranks. Recently she has been instructed to travel to Ul'dah and await further orders. Since her arrival she has not heard hide nor hair from her commanders and has begin to harbor thoughts of this being a cruel joke to release her from service. In her eagerness to complete her mission she had left for Ul'dah straight away and now lacks both the funds to return to Ishgard or live a casual life. Running low on gil she now struggles to make enough through odd jobs to occasionally afford a warm place to sleep and food for her belly. Still in all this she remains upbeat and constantly happy. She is always wearing a smile on her face and is just a happy person. Even in her situation, she'd give you her last piece of food, her last gil coin or the shirt off her back, even if it was a stranger asking for it. She is extremely energetic, outgoing and loves to make friends. However due to her time alone as a child, and her treatment within Ishgard, there are not many she calls friends and she's trying desperately hard, perhaps to the point of being annoying, to rectify that problem. Welcome to the RPC! Hey there, welcome to the RPC! You may get along with my character Savona Drake, a pint sized Highlander born in Ul'dah but since the age of 3 has been living around Ishgard and even inside their gates when they opened. She joined the Military there but for some unknown reason to her, she has been sent to Ul'dah and the surrounding City-States to await further orders, of which never seem to come in. The character is, friendly, extremely happy and outgoing and really just wants to make friends since she's had so few of them in her life.
