A polite way is find something/someone that would go well with your character. I think most people would appreciate just a simple OOC tell asking if you may join in. However most RP in the game is pretty fluid and most wont mind another RPer joining, and there's no established rule book for breaking into RP.

I would post screenshots as well but ya know, servers are always down so haven't caught anything worthwhile. It's also worth noting I'm not even into Pokemon and rarely even know what the concept is. I like just walking around and collecting them. :thumbsup:

I will play the devils advocate to Rini here and say that these types of characters are never widely accepted. Sure you could just find an FC that allows you to do that, but what happens when you step aside of them to find RP? If you prefer to see exactly what I mean, feel free to do a search of other Moogle related threads and you'll see. Ultimately however, your game, your money and free to play whatever you wish. Hope it works out for you!

You could always create an alt and have them transferred! As best to my knowledge there isn't really a decent RP scene on your server.

Keep in mind how much pocket space 700 gill would take up. Since one piece of gill is just that, 1 gill. That means you need to carry seven hundred pieces on you for a simple meal. Ain't nobody got time to count at that much for an Eft Salad. So for me personally, 1 gill equals $1.00. However if someone charges me 700 gill for a burger, i just roll with it and mark it down to what I think was a fair price and I leave it at that.

This right here is why I bought my personal house 2 weeks ago. Everyone was all like "Oh why don't you wait for the patch?" etc etc. Well simply because, I now have a house and you dont. Haters8-) Although my FC missed out on one so I donated my personal for the FC. The very second that hammer and gavel displayed, people were there looking to buy it lol

In all fairness, they DID, in fact, tell us when the servers would be up. We just wrongly ASSUMED they would be up before then, though time was clearly given.

It's not a gil sink if everyone and their mother has access to them. So I'm essence, housing is working exactly how SE planned it. The only problem is, it's doing it a bit more successfully then I think,they originally planned for.

I wonder who many players/FCs that had sold their plots ahead of time for this, are going to go homeless now. Or perhaps, how many of them are regretting that decision as the housing hype continues to build. You can almost feel the frenzy in the air.....

Playing World of Tanks & Destiny on the Xbox One. Smyrim on the PC. Spending time with my kid, going to work. Not fretting about the housing as I've already got mine. Just a normal everyday just like any other day.

I play on the Xbox One so I guess I'm out. And by play, I mean like I've done 3-4 story missions.

Actually, it sells higher, at least on Jenova and Courel servers that is. It's more pve styled gear and not used to much for RP purposes.

Your best bet is to research the markets on both servers and buy items that sell for more than what you can buy them for on Balmung. This way you'll actually turn a profit. Like buying the 220 gear and selling for twice as much, though you have to wait for your profits to trickle in.

Yeah so after browsing headsets I realized that there was probably some good advice to be had, so instead of buying two separate pieces, figured I'd just pick up a cheaper $50.00 pair. Thanks for all the advice and recommendations!

Wow, I didn't know that, thanks for the heads up! It's more than just USB headset. FFXIV does not handle audio devices being changed at all. So if you normally switch between saw, speakers, HDMI, a headset, or anything else, you'd need to use a virtual audio adapter to pipe the sound to the right device because switching it in Windows won't work if the game's running. If you plan on using the headset as your -only- source for audio, then you'll have no issues. That's pretty much the case as I'm not I my wanting one for communication purposes, but also because I'm moving my PC to the room nearest the baby nursery. She doesn't need to here gunfire and explosions going off haha

Probably in the minority here, but I'd almost rather pay double the price for the convenience to not have to deal with all that and just buy a convenient little overpriced package lol Or.....I have thought about buying one of those $50.00 universal headsets that work with pc/consoles.

Hey ya'll, looking to purchase a headset for my PC. Preferably something that is easily picked up from say Best Buy or HHGreg or similar. Budget is about $100.00 - $150.00 As far as what I'm looking for, I don't really care about weight or comfort since I've never had a problem with either of those issues on multiple uses of various headsets. Also color is not important, although props if it's Blue to match my PC! I also do prefer wired as for some reason wireless never really seem to work that great for me. One feature that is a must however, is separate in-game/mic volume control, which I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure is now standard for a gaming headset. Also one feature I'd really really like to have is separate bass/treble control. So that's it! What do you have or recommend?! These are what I'm currently looking at.
