Well, I ate KFC today, which is nice. I'm also returning to my flat this Sunday and I'll be able to borrow some laptops to be able to enjoy FF more, which is double nice.

D'esh doesn't exactly flirt per se, since his encounters with females before were rather... limited, but eh! A combination of shy smiles, awkward looks and random blurbs about his crush' looks managed to get him a few dates and slowly he's getting out of the no-comfort zone! Right about now, he keeps using the words "beautiful", "nice" and "pretty" while describing his girlfriend and he purrs faintly whenever she touches him for more than five seconds.

I agree with the posters above. While I haven't exactly seen how this "trolling" looked like or what you were exactly doing, it's never a good idea to flood an already crowded and popular RP area with... something that's not RP. It's not really cool, you know? While I understand that you just wanted to have some fun, I think it's a better idea to just do it in the circle of your friends, since you'll always end up being a nuissance to some and I doubt that you want to end up on some blacklists, like people mentioned.

I'm working on it, okay?! Plus it... needs work and I need... stuff to put in there. D'eshel is a blank slate character that I'm shaping up through RP - so more RP needs to happen, yeah. I'll get working on it soon. Maybe.

N'jassa can be a real joy to play and the quality of her RP only improves with time. Really, try this one out. Again, good contacts were found and I'm doing my best to stay in touch with most, despite the wonky-ness of timezones. We will endure! Meanwhile, I am mostly bumping this because I have finally decided to look for an FC. Thus, I have decided D'eshel here to be an ADVENTURER. So, can the fine people of RPC guide me towards some FC-individuals that do mostly in the adventuring business? I've browsed thorugh the FC database but it seems all the good ones are either inactive or have their recruitment closed...

It would seem as if this guild isn't active anymore or am I mistaken? A shame, since the concept looks lovely!

I'm browsing through these threads in search of a proper FC for my character and so far, on paper, this one seems to be the most interesting one. That makes it a shame to see recruitment being closed, but in any case, good luck to you!

Big respect for the amount of work you have put in this character. Your wiki seems to be one of the biggest I have read so far. It was nice to look at these adventures, witness his history so I would love if my character would get to know at least a portion of it himself! So hit me up when you're ingame and avaiable for RP!

I'm a EU player myself so more contacts from my side of the pond will never hurt. Feel free to poke/add me ingame should I fail to spot you and we'll try to set something up. I'd offer a wiki page/RPC link of my character, but... yeah. Still working on that. Ugh.

Oh, I wasn't saying that I'm afraid to do that. If something is -too- uncomfortable for me, as a player, then yeah, I'll mostlikely leave, but on the other hand I'm not that easily swayed, I mean I witnessed a lot of stupid things irl already, so maybe I bolstered up my resistance to it. Though I very much agree with your second point and it saddens me just how many people forget about the one simple fact, that this is a MMO we are playing. These are actual people you're interacting with, just hidden behind their avatars. Roleplay shouldn't be all about -your- personal fun, because just as, say, in a cinema, there's a certain code of conduct to follow when you enjoy the expierience, such is the same thing with roleplay. Whether or not you wish to ignore a person who does something you may not like is entirely down to the player. There's no written rule that says you -should- or -shouldn't- ignore these kind of people. Follow your mind, feelings, heart or whatever. I do what a few people before me have already said. I go with the flow. Sure, if there's something that my character doesn't like, then I just simply make him -try- and walk away, because... why shouldn't he? Unless he has some reason to stay, that is. I won't mention things like the need to go AFK or something, because I don't think that's what the OP was talking about. However, if OOC comes into play and there's something I, the player, not like about the current roleplay, then... well, it depends on what sort of thing it is exactly. If we're talking about godemoting on anything like that, then I'll either walk away or inform the player behind the toon that I won't tolerate stuff like that. If it's something less uncomfortable, like a character getting really close to the "loller line", then I tend to roll with it. At least it can make me laugh. All in all, I'm a tolerant and patient person. But if I see that somebody doesn't show respect to me, the player, then why should I do the same for him? Doesn't mean that I should break character and ruin my immersion just because of people like that. No, I won't humour those people. It's exactly what they want.

I'm kind of annoyed that this game has even -more- cheap ways to kill off the player. Now I don't mind difficulty in games, I just hate it when it feels so fake and forced like it sometimes tends to do in the Souls' series and even moreso here. Other than that, I'd say it's... well, good. It certainly isn't a revolution, it certainly is a Dark Souls game but with a diffrent skin and some new combat gimmicks, so if you haven't enjoyed that, don't bother with Bloodborne, because this is exactly the same kind of pie.

Hello there!... again. So after expressing my uncertainty of my character's backstory to a person I met, I was suggested to write it down here to get some opinions about it. Now, you can be a veteran roleplayer of many years and many years, but you can still get a little anxious when in touch with a completely new setting... so here's me doing that. There we go.
