Weaver chest would prob work really well for it. Most the folks I know are on PS4 But yes, I am sure there are more PC vs PS4. I use a keyboard for typing, so the only issue I kind of have is walking/typing. But other than that, same as if I was on PC.

I actually was from there. RP used to be pretty common, but then died hard there (This was about 2 and a half years ago). Someone recently came back from there to Balmung and I asked them how the RP was there - and they also said dead. Maybe you can build a small community there? I am sure there are some folks interest in RP there.

That is rough. I was in a similar spot with an IC partner. But they ended up changing to a new character and my SO took over the husband. It is gonna be awkward and weird if they do come back. If it was me, I would either break off or re-roll the character til they came back in action.

I would be interested in a LS type thing, but I am locked into my own FC. I do want to get the sisters into some type of resistance RP for the up coming 4.0. Their brother is still in Othard, so they would want to do anything to help. Chidori is a mage, but she has been learning to wield daggers (very beginning stages of that.) Sayori is good with an axe and Minori is still very civilian.

I like them! For example Chi has three siblings, 2 sisters and one brother. I feel it can help flesh out a character rather than have everyone in their past as a NPC. Romantic wise? I do like that more organic. But at the same time I hear horror stories. My first RP romantic partner went fairly well but at the same time there was concern on thier end that I didn't get to spend enough time with my SO. At this point I am only romantic relationships with my SO, he took over my old partners character so my old partner could do something else. And he was already with one of my characters. Maybe weird, but I hate OOC drama and this spares us from potentially having that

I am a very very quiet person/shy. For a long time I had a partner that was more out going so we balanced out. However that came to an end - want to say a good 5 months or so ago. My "main" was already quiet and what not. So really the only time she tended to meet people was when new folks would get hired, employees, social functions. She really isn't the kind of loiter in the Quick, meeting person. I haven't given up on Ritsu for RP but I have moved my RP focus to my more social friendly character, Chidori. Anyways, I somewhat blended an OOC like with an IC one. I like to grow flowers and make hair pins. For Starlight I decided to have a give away (Santa came to help) and we gave out tons of flower hair pins which was super fun. Chi was already a lover of nature so doing this IC'ly isn't far fetched. And now I am networking for the girls (her and her sisters) to give them away at events to help out or make someones event more fun. I feel like work or goodwill is easy enough tie in. For example, if your character is a healer? Maybe a free clinic. Or if they are a weaver, try to drum up some clientele.

Balmung is the biggest server for RP, but it is generally locked so you do need to transfer. There are small pockets like Siren and I think Matus has a good bit. Transfers are processed thru mogstation, costing 18 bucks. As far as level? Since you are brand new to the world I recommend taking your time and learning a bit about it before diving in. If you chose Balmung, there are tons of different niches to find. But being so big you do need to be pretty proactive in getting out there.

I feel it is. Not sure if it is more a player concept or lore - someone may debunk me. But I have ran into a few characters that were uneasy about being healed thru magic. And/or got aether sickness from it.

Some of my guy friends prefer females just based on attire alone. I also feel we have a pretty heavy female player base. Some do play males, but from my experience the majority I have encountered play females. (some with male alts.) At one point my FC was about half IRL female to male. For me, I am female and I tend to play females. At least my two mains are. I have played males for plots/short runs of things. Maybe I haven't come up with a concept for a male character I have been like OMG about. I have been toying with the idea of making Chi's father for a bit, mostly for a plot with Roger. I also have a design for a male keeper I like...just don't know what to do with it Do I care who is behind another character? Not at all. Male or female, bleeding is a hard no for me.

The ERP thing is hugely over-exaggerated IMO. There are adult themed FC's and you can certainly find it if you are looking for it. But I personally haven't had a big issue with it. Most the time when I get a tell asking if I would be interested, it is polite and when declined they leave it alone. There has been like two times people have gotten a little pushy about it and/or weird. I moved to Balmung 2.5 years go (give or take) from Gilga and do not regret it in the least. There are tons of fun events and what not and I have met some of my best friends here!

I am excited for it on my Chidori character. I hope they give us kimonos. And I still hoping they add an Ishgardian dress. The other city states have gold saucer outfits...it definitely should have one. The traveling, still not sure how I plan on handling that. It also depends on if one of her sisters get an apartment/house there. I know one of the players is really interested in it. She might just split her time between being at the lodge and there. I am not the biggest fan of poofing around the world...but hey magic.
