It's not easy, and I had known him for... Well, I don't really want to say just how long it's been! I'm just torn as to how much I should really ask into the details of his passing. I want to know, but at the same time don't. In the end, I hope he is at peace. He had not been doing well for a bit, so now I hope that whatever happened, it is done and over with. Just sucks, knowing that I will not be able to see him again. Got to see him the last time I was down his way (live in different areas, thus growing apart), but it just never seems enough.

Found out a friend of mine passed away last night. Had known him since middle school, even if we had drifted apart in the last few years. No clue what happened or the details of it, and honestly not sure I want to know. All I know he is gone, and wouldn't mind a hug.

Had a wonderful time at the event!

Dyed my first piece of leather, and it is holding! No streaks, marks, etc. The sealer is working as well, as I tested the leather under a bit of water. Beads up and rolls right off, without any color bleed. So! I am rather happy about that. As well, quite happy to say that the leather is the last piece I needed to finish up a scale mail shoulder guard. With it done, now I can assemble it all!

Hello there dear reader! I've been rather absent and lacking from the game for a couple of months, and now that I return? I find that I am without too many people to play with. I do really try to not disappear like that, but sometimes life happens. And to be utterly blunt, when life tosses a good deal of drama my way, I tend to retreat over to single player games. But I have returned, and started to really play once again. I am looking for people to come rp with me, or maybe even give me that little nudge to level. Heh. I'm making the post-50 MSQ slog right now on one character, and I just cannot seem to get enthused about the story. I really want to unlock the new classes! But sheesh, that MSQ just takes forever! Ahh, but I am certain you are curious about my character. And here she is. Leindra is my higher level of the two, a conjurer by trade and Hellsguard by birth. She is always looking for people to talk aetheric studies, or perhaps even go appease a spirit or two. I roleplay her as a conjurer, and potential field researcher. If one were to pursue her (and not saying I am looking for that, it is a huge IF there), she is actually rather prickly and can be easily put off by people. As well, the whole only being interested in ladies thing. Ultimately though, she really is just looking for friends and contacts, with perhaps a dash of adventure here and there. Making an edit here, to say to people, please feel free to contact me. After a few things that have happened in game, Leindra has found herself... Well, lonely and without anyone to even so much call a friend. No seriously, she has no friends and almost no rp. Rp on Balmung is proving to be nearly impossible to break into.

I just hope and pray that it is delivered on time! *crosses fingers*

And my cat is at the vet, overnight for observation. Something happened, where he was dragging his back legs. The vet isn't 100%, so thus the observation. So my other cat and I could use a hug.

Bumping this back up to the top here. I am on the search once again, hopefully a FC that is active in the evenings. EST preferable, since that is what I am. But just something more or less compatible there.

I tend to lean towards more lighthearted, social rp with a bit of adventure and comedy thrown in. Anything darker than that, just really is not something that interests me.

Hello dear reader! As you might have already come to understand from the title of this thread, I am looking for a FC for my character. She is a roegadyn conjurer by trade, and researcher by nature. She once studied thaumaturgy, but found that it was not something that meshed with her. So to continue the pursuit of aetheric studies, she began to expand her research. After a bit of work, she found that conjury just seemed to 'click' with her. And is now trying to further her work! OOC'ly, I couldn't get into how THM played and WHM has proven to be far more fun for me. So yes, I do heal! I do have a few things that I am looking for in a FC, some of which are pretty common in truth. I am looking for a medium to heavy roleplay base, I wish the FC to be active and friendly both IC and OOC. I cannot stand harassment or judgement of any form, and will flat out leave if I see it. Or if I see it coming close to such. That is completely non-negotiable. There is a difference between having standards and judgement, mind you. And I understand it. But if you believe that just because someone goes to the Quicksand for rp, that they are in any way shape and/or fashion somehow "lesser" in rp? I will not tolerate that. Ahem! Sorry, do not mean to rant there. I simply wish a nice and fun place to be while I play the game! Ah, one thing that I am wishing to see, is for the FC to have housing. I do not care where or even how large it is. But, I would like to eventually own a room. So that is something I wish the FC to offer. Well, if you think I might be a fit, let me know! With the FC thing, that is just a personal preference of mine. Might be good to say that the event "discourages" such practice, but it is not a full on ban for just the reasons you said. As well, heh. A friend pointed this out, where a FC-mate might step in to bid on a person as a means to "save" them. See a person bidding that you didn't think about before, as someone you just do not want to rp with. Bam, have a FC-mate bid to save you from the rp. So yeah, there are pro's and con's to both sides. But I would love to see this event happen again! I always enjoy auctions, and use them as a means to meet new people. So please do it again!
