1. That's a fair point, but where would the sound come from? I don't know if I've ever even seen a large bell in-game. lol Don't hold me to it, but I think somewhere in the Ishgard/Coerthas area they have a bell. I'm probably going to be looking around for that later this evening......if I remember. You get me a screenshot I'll eat my hat! ...also I'll send some gil to you or something for the trouble. lol It's now a challenge! I must remember! I can make into some weird RP event or something.... "Remind me what we're doing here?" "Looking for a bell." "Why?" "Because i'm trying to be an artist and need inspiration." Boom.
2. Can I keep him for a week? Just have him delivered through UPS, i'll take good care of him. I probably wont give him back though, despite my question.
3. Healers can definitely raise during battle by then, but the same issues would probably have continued with the initial healer. Chances are, their gear and possibly playstyle just wasn't good enough to keep up with the dungeon, which hits pretty hard. WHMs definitely get an advantage in that they can do their big bursty heals and use esuna on the debuffs, while being -used- to using esuna on debuffs. SCH gets leeches at......40? It's completely possible that if you had a SCH, they may not have been up to date on their class quests, mixed with everything else. As for the dragon, do you remember where the tank was tanking it? I like to pull it right to the door, since the tornadoes rarely move there. Helps take some of the edge off for the healer. The tank had the boss at the entrance where i've seen most people place the dragon. The healer and BLM wern't as close though, so they kept getting hit by the tornadoes. Said healer was also a WHM. When I said something no one else said anything, so I just assumed I was wrong. It had been so long since I was at that level as a healer, so I couldn't exactly remember. Maybe they got mad because I called them out on it. *shrug* ALSO, when they decided to DPS, they didn't use Cleric Stance. Honestly, this shouldn't bug me, but if you're going to be not so great at healing, at least be good at being somewhat of a proper DPS.
4. I'm running Stone Vigil because I gotta do it for MSQ progression on Kana. Everything was mostly fine and we were pushing on pretty strong until we got to the dragon boss...... That was very specific....The dragon boss that has the canons and tornadoes, yeah, that one! Our BLM was dealing with the cannons and doing a pretty good job of staying on top of that. Our BLM dies because the healer was neglecting to heal them while they had a DoT debuff active. To try and keep things going, I run to take care of cannons (because that healer was not moving). I die because I wasn't healed and I didn't get to the cannon in time. While the healer and tank are still active I made the comment, "At this level, I think the healer can rez during a fight". They didn't answer and who knows, maybe i'm wrong. We wipe and once I respawn, I see that our healer is gone. >_> <_< Okay, maybe it was a blessing that they left, but that didn't make me any less irritated. It takes a few minutes, but we eventually get an AST and everything went smoothly.

6. That was the plan! We have to be tough to make up for looking naturally adorable.
7. So, I played the platinum demo Sunday afternoon and it was a rather interesting experience. Multiple times I was pressing the wrong button to jump, because i'm so use to FFXIV controls. From this point although it is a hype thread, I will put things in a spoiler tag to prevent any possible conflicts. ^.^
8. Welcome back to FFXIV! Good to hear that you are presumably better from your health issues and i'm happy that you enjoy the RP community so much. You don't see as many antagonists around. Not to say they aren't there (look through the wikis), but the Good/Bad character ratio is certainly favoring the good characters. More power to ya! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to send a PM. ^.^
9. My Screenshot game is strong... "I wont let ya die! Ya can't jus' leave the people that care about ya behind!" "Mamiko it's been too lon-" *Staaaaaaare* "Before I ferget, 'ere is the crystal I was tellin' ya about. This should help ya."
10. Hello and welcome to the RPC! ^.^ If you havw any questions, please don't hesitate to send a PM.
11. Kanako has had a lot of sad times, and these reflect what basically happened during each instance. Waylon & Kanako: Feine & Kanako:
12. THE HYPE IS REAL! .............AGAIN! She looks really badass in that photo though (the one the OP put in)
13. YOU! YOU! you. Feine is an amazing RPer and I love the stories they tell. Not only are they a great person to RP with, they are very friendly and a great person to talk to. If it wasn't for Rihxo and the making connections post you made, I don't think we would've RPed that often, if not at all! I'm happy to know ya.
14. HINT: Just come to the Wayfarer's Rest. She'll either be in her office researching, or the bar downstairs. Not there? Then try the THM guild. Wow....large hints! Well, at least now you have an idea where to look.
15. What, nothing about Arata on your wiki? I've heard your name before and i'm happy to see that this is your first post. Both of my girls would likely get along with Noah, though talking to Nanagi is a bit more challenging. Kanako? You can find her almost anywhere, except for Ishgard. Nagi is a bit quiet and tends to keep to herself. She is an Aether research and is certainly devoted to her work. Kanako is more outgoing and relaxed. She can talk to just about anyone and enjoys sharing a nice drink with someone. If you want to know a little bit about them, just check my signature! I'm available for both in-game and forum RP, whatever is most convenient for you.
16. The report caught her eye and it was certainly worth the read. The red head skimmed through the report and the one thing that stuck out the most, was poison. She carefully read through it one more time, to make sure she had a clear understanding of what was going on. She fielded with her leather bracelet as she thought out loud. "Best thing ya aught t'do is t'track down who she bought it from, or if it was somethin she made. If she made it 'erself, it'll be 'arder t'find 'er. Perhaps I should pay this man a visit, maybe get somethin' from helpin 'im out too."
17. I agree with this. I also want to reiterate something. My fault on my part for not being more specific. I'm sure there may be someway to make a "robbery gone wrong" scene work and actually seem interesting, but there better be a good reason as to why it happened. Maybe even add a little twist. Maybe it wasn't a robbery gone wrong, but an assassin that had been after said character through a certain period of time. Figure out a way to compensate for the simple death, even if all you do is extend the plot past the death. Make the death memorable, that's how I see it. If you think a simple death like that is the way to go, then by all means go ahead, it's you character. However, you have to give me some story background to make me believe that was an appropriate way to go.
18. *Powerful Spellcaster - You have to fight using a greatsword, or lance. *Claustrophobic Person - You have to dance in the spotlight with other people surrounding you. Thats good enough, I think.
19. Both of my characters weren't written with the intention of being killed off. However, RP happens and certain events may occur where I'm leaving the possibility under consideration. I've done some thinking and with recent events in the RP world, and I have begun writing a plot which will possibly end with said character being written off. I say possibly because, I want the people who will be involve to have more control of the plot then they think. Laying out three possible outcomes based on their actions. This way, it also prepares me to make sure "Am I truly ready to do this?". If i'm going to write off a character, I want there to be a good story behind it. Not something that's just "Oh, she was robbed and it went horribly wrong".
20. You seem to be pretty chill and based on the rep you gave me, i'm left to assume you like tabletops! I don't know much about you, but based on what i've seen, I wouldn't mind getting to know you better and working out something to where we can RP sometime. EDIT: Also based on what i've seen, you seem to have a good sense of humor.
21. You didn't see me coming! My post just went right through yours. I make bad jokes and i'm sorry I've seen you around a lot on the forum and sometimes in-game and I always saw you as a really kind person. Nebula is precious and also a very CUTE.
22. Nanagi will kill if she thinks it's for the right thing. If she truly believes that in the end, she is helping someone and protecting someone by killing another person, then she'll try do it Stroud. Valen. Will she maybe feel the regret later? Sure! But there wont be as much regret if she were to kill someone because she was manipulated into thinking that they were the "bad guy". Kanako will use what resources she has and try to avoid killing if possible. The resources she uses can either be bribery, sweet talk, or letting someone try to stop X person she might have to kill. If it gets to a point where she is all out of options and she can't just talk her way out of it, then she'll do it. She'll do it in a heartbeat and ask questions later. The exception being if she thinks X person will give her some sort of leverage down the road or answers.
23. Kanako. Alcohol. Lots of alcohol. Whiskey in particular. Nanagi really likes tea, hot tea to be precise. If you offer her tea, she'll love you. Thats a lie, she'll thank you and maybe try talking to you. Maybe.
24. *Clears throat* Well.... Out of all the character you've made, you always made sure they had a story. Each one was unique in their own way, even if it didn't last long. Mad props for being able to think of so many backstories.
25. Reading about Norse Mythology, particularly their "How the Universe was Created" and then suddenly my phone starts playing...... b96rrbo-_Ik
