My FC's always running our new 50s through T1-8, iLv permitting, so just ask your FC for help doing the same. Honestly, all one really needs to get "caught up" on everything through the newest set of endgame content (FCoB in this case) is the help of FC members who are willing to teach you.

Jana's supposed to be very easy to see through emotionally, but I actually use ear/tail-specific emotes less in RP than in TERA (where she was meant to be a much harder person to read). Usually, this is because I'll emote her entire body as behaving a specific way instead of just her non-human features. Of course, I'll make exceptions at times, especially when she's either trying to mask her emotions or going through a particularly more extreme emotion.

Most of Jana's racism is more casual than outright hatred, for example, on the topic of Sei and Warren, Jana kept her mouth shut but wonders just why they'd bother mixing anyway. There are plenty of nice Highlander girls and civilized Miqo'te men. And while she herself can find other races attractive, she has enough hang-ups over dating in general that she (usually) won't act on any impulses felt toward Keepers, much less anyone else. OOCly, I think it's lots of fun and provides even more avenues of RP for the characters involved and even third-parties!

Most RPers who aren't playing an adventuring type won't bother, and those who do like myself have our reason right there.

My character is a SMN who's killed Titan before, and would be more than happy to help kill him again! Quick question though: HM or EX? I can tank or DPS in HM but I'm only geared/comfy doing DPS on EX.

Garuda Hard drops i75 weapons; people spam it in 2 minutes for their Nexus lights. Garuda Extreme is a step up and drops i90 rings, and the horse (maybe). It's the easiest of the Ex primals though, both in terms of mechanics and the gear needed.

There's a Miqo'te girl who wandered around at ground level calling out for her "Ruby" in the last patch; I always saw her and never ran into the carbuncle, so I panicked thinking she was looking for a little kid... I'm not sure if she has the same route now, but she was always walking around by the northern gate area.

Hi! I tried my hand at making a character sheet and would like some critique; since I've not yet actually played using this system, there's a lot I don't know about keeping things balanced and sensible while also trying to keep the character represented as she should be.

Just thought I'd chime in: The comparison to the US Secret Service works way better than it has any right to, given that the Sworn come from a city of coin! It was originally meant to combat counterfeit currency and still has the responsibility to handle financial crimes. It was actually part of the Department of the Treasury for the longest time ever.

Easier than you'd think since they're both Disciple of War classes. I've made all of my RP outfits (save for scrub Flames uniform) usable by all classes since Jana has both War and Magic IC; it's possible with leather Gathering/Crafting gear.

*starts reading thread, stops reading thread at Hildy spoilers* I thought the MSQ was kind of disappointing in how it petered out at the end, but I guess everyone's grieving and there's still more to come. While my character would know about that, I'm not really one to leave that as the endnote, really. :V

Mhm, I did my blind runs of WP/AK HMs already with full blind groups, and we only wiped once (on AKHM 1st boss). They're not bad, mechanically-speaking. Edit: Oh and the 2nd AKHM boss too, 2spooky.

If you can get in on it early, now is the time to do new content. Everyone's on the same page.

The most fun I've had in there was a 4-DPS Amdapor Keep, with me as DRG and a MNK-buddy swapping tank roles until the trash died. We were worried we'd fail on the final boss, but baiting out the tail swipe was enough to keep whoever was currently taking aggro alive.

The best for free soldiery are HM Mog/Levi/Ramuh/Shiva (when she doesn't have lights). My FC also runs new 50s through first Coil for lots of bonus Soldiery.

A note on Summoners: The level 50 job skill, Enkindle, lets the summon use the Primal's instant-kill move as an AoE attack with a 5-minute cooldown. This sounds a lot like what's already in place to allow for a big AoE, minus the extra effect on Titan-Egi's (leaves behind the molten pool that the Granite Gaolers in Titan Ex leave behind when they're defeated).

The village that the NIN quest NPCs are from isn't ever named. We could safely assume it's within Doman territory, but it and Doma are not one and the same. Besides, going by the rules for Japanese high fantasy, the NIN village would have been in a secret place, not the capital for a nation.

I use them a lot, actually. Because Jana is so socially awkward, my pre- and mid-sentence ellipsis are usually when she's trying to find the right words to something. At the end of a sentence, I usually have them there to indicate when she's not just trailing off, but also leaving something unsaid (either out of her general discomfort or because she simply couldn't find the words). However, I never actually use "..." as a statement in itself. If Jana's silent as a response, I'll usually specify if she's being silent because she has nothing to say or if it's because she's, again, uncomfortable and can't find the right words.

My character is definitely not a nice person. She may have been a "hand for hire" originally, but Jana's moved past that stage as both a character and with her adventuring career, able to pick and choose what she wants to do rather than being at the whims of potential employers. She wouldn't do a job that payed a lot for assassinating a public official, for instance. Instead, she's focused on meeting her goals of both short-term and long-term revenge, and being a Summoner, isn't against the slaughter of beast tribes for a shot at more power. I didn't see "genocide" in that list, but I assume it counts?
