Too late for Garuda but that can always be farmed at any point. I'll volunteer my DPS for Titan Ex though, which is a huge enough jump in difficulty that I wouldn't wanna run with randoms! My comfiest classes are BRD, DRG, and MNK. I'll have an i130 PLD weapon by then as well, hopefully!

I'd like to join in again, but the time is a touch close to when I return from work. I will try my best to make it but if something comes up, I'll post again to let you know!

Jana can join, I can go as any DPS class at the iLv of T1-4, though my DRG is both not an IC class and the highest iLv right now (I don't mind using DRG in-battle and swapping to something else for RP either).

I wonder if this dueling thing means we'll have 1v1 PvP, even if it's just in this arena area instead of as a freely usable command. I guess the people complaining about Au Ra have something to look forward to.

WERE WE ROBBED OF ASS WITH THE CHANGE TO 2.0?! While I am totally used to character creation with a lot of freedom (PSO2, Dragon's Dogma, even Tera in some ways (like actual face sliders that made a huge difference)), I don't find FFXIV's options to be terribly lacking. Would I like more options to use a different-looking face, or edit a jawline? Sure, but I'm not about to quit the game over it. Besides, I've never been one unable to work with what I'm given.[/humblebrag]

People who are here to be playing "the cute catgirl race" are going to change into playing "the cute demongirl race." Someone who's playing a Fem Highlander or Roe isn't likely going to Fantasia to a completely different set of aesthetics on a whim.

I have a fairly large number of outfits I change between depending on the climate of where I'm RPng and the situation (commoner's clothes, disguises, Flames uniform, something more formal, etc). Most, though not all, are put together with All-Class gear so I can swap between an ACN book and a PGL weapon if I have to... Which makes nice-looking sets a bit of a pain to work with when they're for one class only or Disciples of War/Magic-locked.

In my experience as a janator for a large forum, the best way to deal with "but what IS an 'asshole' or 'snark'" is simply to have a diverse group of moderators who're going to give each other feedback. Even if Mod A finds a post to be too mean, mods B and C might not and what may have been a warning could be demoted to shoulder-tap status (which I don't think is a thing in these rules? Usually just a PM of "hey watch yourself on this issue").

It's worth noting that the only Spanish in the game comes in reference to Cactuars/Sabotenders, like the names of the Sabotender boss and adds in Qarn HM. How Eorzeans know those Spanish words to name them (and El Coloso, the giant Sabotender statue) remains to be seen. I can't help but hope there's a village of little Spanish-speaking cactus people somewhere...

Oh... too late, just reactivated it. You should take the time to get caught up on story content then, as the new Heavensward areas won't be accessible without having cleared the MSQ through Before the Fall!

Why do people keep thinking this? Ponos size is independent of height, and 95% of men fall under 7in anyway. And if we go with the non-human approach, Gorillas have 1in to them. Height and bulk don't influence that much at all. Edit: Seems I'm too slow tonight!

Elin character creation flashbacks... (And it's like that in BnS too, wtf) That aside, my sister who was so elated at maybe playing a race of dragon-people might end up disappointed. Quick edit: I'm thinking it's the way that some faces currently have some options or scars that other faces don't have. The horns that come with each face aren't the only horns for that face, but some horn styles usable with a face or two may not be usable with all faces.

I'm a bit brown IRL, but my character is much darker (and with that touch of grey Keepers get). While I don't limit my character creating by human skin tones much, I generally stay away from red/green skin in my player characters. I'm not sure wwhy, I guess I just tend to like what looks like a regular human skin tone.
