The ponytail I want was already confirmed as not coming until 3.0, so I'm not holding out hope for new vanity stuff... Or new stuff at all, actually. A poetics cap removal and Final Coil echo/nerfs is all I'm expecting.

Jana would be good for all of these events except maybe the Defense of Verad.

Depending on the exact situation, Jana could fall anywhere between 2 and 4.

I had this melancholy song picked out for Jana in the previous iteration of this thread. She's usually pretty gloomy and depressed. And another song that has a bit more of a hopeful tone to it, just to show that Jana isn't totally lost just yet.

Nothing in the MSQ is really "raid-difficulty" though, not on the level of first Coil mechanically (certainly not T5). And the one time that something really was hard enough that it gated story (King Mog HM), SE nerfed it the following patch.

It's fine to skip dungeon cutscenes because you can rewatch them in the Inn, but in the cases of Castrum/Praetorium, you won't get to see your entire 8man party in them that way.

It was announced a while back that each job would be getting its own LB, so if MNK kept the current LB3 for melee DPS, DRG and NIN would be the ones getting new animations.

Jana's too willing to spill blood to make a good WoL. Even for the bad guys she wouldn't be able to kill, like Ascians, she'd be cutting of their speeches with attempts.

I think something people may be missing is that the location is an Immortal Flames barracks, even if it has to be located in The Goblet for OOC reasons. Whether or not it's located there ICly is something that's up to Kale.

Jana kinda lives in the barracks at this point, so I'll have to try and remember the time so I can be there too!

My character is an adventurer with the Echo, but turned down the Scions way back in 2.0... The Crystal Braves acting fishy and arrest warrants for the remaining Scions is something she'd likely pick up on though from having worked alongside Scions during Operation Archon, as well as from doing general adventuring work in Mor Dhona, and she'd probably find out more from there. Raubahn being jailed and Brass Blades swaggering about are also somethings she'll pick up on as suspicious, though how much she learns on her own and how much she could get out of any superiors in the Flames is up in the air (until she meets with said characters in RP). My main thought when I was watching the MSQ cutscenes was "look at all these people Jana's going to wanna kill." She'll definitely look to add to her body pile if Raubahn or Pipin are able to raise a banner in the near future, rather than running to Coerthas, even (or perhaps, especially) if it's the kind of mission that's sure to end in her death.

Holy crap, that's just like my Paladin glamour, but on a conjurer! I actually spoke to this guy minutes ago and didn't even notice... PLS SE, I'LL GIVE YOU ALL OF MY MONEY The same armor/uniform shows up on bowmen, conjurers, and pugilist Ishgardians in the new trial as well.

Jana doesn't exactly make herself available, but she's an arcanist with some power. If you run into her in Thanalan or La Noscea, feel free to say hi!

I'm kind of in a weird spot where I value the relationship-building aspect of RP very highly, but also love doing big action scenes with the same characters. They're both the meat and potatos of my RP, to continue using the meal metaphor. It's also true that a lot of Jana's "action" tends to happen off-screen, and I do wish that didn't always have to be the case.
