" I'm not so certain the refugees will be coming anytime soon, master. " said the Shinobi. Saeren turned her gaze toward the shinobi to reassure her that they will be here. Saeren could not help but force a smile, it was a bad habit whenever she was feeling sick to her stomach. She was of course worried, having only heard tales of pirates rerouting vessels and thought perhaps that just might be the problem, that they are okay and not harmed. " Miyuki... " She whispered. Miyuki gazed at her but not for long, she plucked the scroll from her grasp and nodded. She was always quick to detect Saeren' worried condition. She rolled open the scroll and gazed at it, not that she was able to read it. " Say no more master, I will investigate. I'll go post this at the Wench before I disappear. " Miyuki declared. The paper was simple in design, asking for a few adventurers to help with a few jobs and where to locate the potential employer. It really put Saeren worried condition to ease having Miyuki looking into this problem. Glancing outward to sea for a moment, she then tilted her head to her left to glance at Miyuki once more but she was not to be seen. " And just like that, she is gone. " Saeren muttered to herself before departing from Aleport shortly afterward.

Yes, I too have made some goals in game that had been keeping me far too occupied. I really do not want to fall far too behind again like I did ARR. Heck when the expansion launched, my characters were all still at the 2.1 story line because I had no interest in continuing no matter how many people would tell, " zomgz it sew gewddd " Seriously, many people would tell me it was so good in that sort of way. I actually did catch up with one character, in fact I got 3 of my characters to Ishgard which was not a fun grind. I been keeping myself far too busy to RP, and whenever I contact people to RP they seem to be very busy too with " keeping up " too which is not a bad thing. Otherwise I have seen several confessions that would apply to me in this thread. Such as Quality of life RP will always be secondary to me as I prefer adventure and conflict and just open world/dungeon diving RP. I do not ERP, I have tried it in the past but my ERP partner got far too creepy which really turned me off from it completely. My characters are all inspired from my GW2 & SWTOR characters I had in the past. It's too bad I was not able to complete their overall stories but hopefully with FFXIV I can. I will do walk ups if the player has it listed on their Character Info, but only if they are alone really. I do tend to lean more toward the /tell before I approach though just in case the person is actually AFK, I know I wander away from my keyboard often and it can be awkward talking to a person not exactly there.

The mist home I have is not exactly beach side and it is a small so I could offer that up for your company. I'm not sure the size your company desires but I thought I'd offer my small home that is not too far from the beach unless you find another more suitable location of course. :thumbsup:

Oh its about time they did this. I'm happy for all them highlander ladies that had been stuck with kneeling and another kneeling animation. They now have the opportunity sit down on the nice green grass, sandy beaches, or on my lap.

Eep, Yes I do have a few i would bat for. My female characters would totally go for Hilda, Merlwyb, & Ellie from the Hildibrand questlines. My males characters would go for Nero Tol Scaeva, Aymeric, and well... all my characters would be totally be with Nero Tol Scaeva if it was possible!

I really hope we see FFXII get the same treatment as FFX. It's such a brilliant game (tied with IX as my favourite of all the main titles) and I'd love to be able to play a more up to date version. The original has held up pretty well but more polish wouldn't hurt! This is what I believe would be what happens! (If the tease leak is true) I'd really love to see it. I don't really want to buy or rent a PS2 in order to play FFXII ; ; The tease made in reference to FFXII at Distant Worlds was amended today to say that it's not a remake. Which I expected to be the case anyway. FFXII doesn't really need it graphically but it's pretty much a game from 2 generations ago that could really easily be FFXII HD like FFX's. Eeep, my bad. I have no idea why I even mentioned a remake of the game because it is still graphically good, it has aged well much like FF10 had before it got the remaster treatment. I'm glad to hear it was teased yet again though, they had teased it in the past depending on how well the FFX HD remaster did, and I assume it did very well!

Hmm, I have far too many characters to list what they all might be doing during my off time. I guess I'll mention that Saeren Orbanis is probably maintaining her estate, because the people who live with her are not exactly very tidy. She does everything from the laundry to grocery shopping, she has the maternal side to her so taking care of her little family is rewarding to her, plus she has two pets to look after now. Elaris Strywin is probably being lazy, whenever I take up that character I have her fighting beasts and general baddies. She does not like to have a random sit downs, talk about feelings or enjoy crumpets and tea. She is a working machine so whenever I'm not utilizing her, she is being lazy and messy. Thyren Orbanis is most likely hunting or maintaining his living environment. He is a hunter and enjoys being outside more than inside. He is also a crafter, he is not the best at it but he still enjoys the hobby. I'd say he would be doing that, or just patrolling whichever area I last left him at.

Ouu good thread, I'm going to start with Persona 5! I have been so excited back when it was announced last year. The gameplay from what I seen so far looks enjoyable and the characters that have been shown to fans so far look promising. I'm hoping the social aspect of it is more P4 > P3. Other games: Persona 4: Dancing all night! - I'm not into rhythm games but I'm still excited for this. Kingdom Hearts 3 - gimme gimme gimme! Fallout 4 - so glad it is out this year Final Fantasy 7:Remake - one of my top FF titles, can't bring myself to play the original though because it did not age well imo. Might I add I'm hoping for a FFXII remake too, I'll settle with a remaster because its one of my favorite Final Fantasy to date. Heck I'd even like a ff8 remake, though It does not really need it.

On Windy Meadows LS Till Sea Swallows All, On Windy Meadows is an OOC linkshell for those whose ties are mostly bound to the La Noscea region. The goal of the LS is to provide an agency for a LF RP anywhere in this region for individuals and groups alike. My intent is to bring strangers together to hopefully help out one another with progressions of their character stories and just build general connections for those whom are on the search for it. Saeren Orbanis will also be providing a monthly RP event or two for those who might be interested from time to time to dungeon dive ICly, it is said that the free companies are always looking for work so I'm here to help provide & hopefully others may provide in time. I have a character that is looking for a bodyguard. He is not the most pleasant person but he needs a bodyguard from time to time whenever I do RP as the fella! I'll be on the lookout for your character, Rurulaki Tutlaki is the character name, he is usually spotted @ Ul'dah however though he is an alt. I might contact you as Thyren Orbanis or Elaris Strywin as they are more so my mains. 8-)

Welcome to the community, nice to have more people jump into the fold! I wouldn't concern yourself too much about having to speak exactly the way the NPC' speak in game. Most of my characters are from the La Noscea area and none of them speak that heavy pirate tongue and I had been doing just fine with that.

Yeah I know what you mean, I try my best to not get involved in any of that but it can be hard when its constantly around ya. I have friends who do the very same, and I even find that I sometimes slip and jump on the drama bandwagon but that is very rarely. If somebody I know talks negatively about a player or FC, even If I simply just say " Yeah "; it does not mean I agree with them. It is not something I like to deal with personally though and is definitely not something I'd like to prolong if I somehow find myself in such a mess. The group I do hang out with the most in game currently have been very good on that front though so I'm glad for that. I had a few negative quotes sent to me a few times that paint me in a negative light, I just ignore it and try not let it bother me at the end of the day. I had quit the whole RP scene on different MMO scenes twice before because of reasons, and I hope It does not lead me that way again but so far the FFXIV community has been pretty good to me.

I'm so happy right now, I honestly cannot believe they are actually doing it. BRB gonna go cry some happy tears!

Wow it seems that we would be a great match to meet up eventually! I have several alts but I'll tell you which ones I think would be neat to meet up eventually. I too have a voidsent like character named Saki Mitan, that I only introduced to several people such as my FC although her host is currently dead now since the continuation of my FC storyline she will be back with a new host so meeting your voidsent eventually would make for a nice meeting! Heck my group Forged Axis could rival with your voidsent too because having your bunch roam about is not good for the people of Eorzea! I have a duskwight named Kydenaux Langelier, and he too is a scholar. He used to combat the void and dangerous marks with the group Forged Axis but since his disappearance he has done a lot of research mainly attached to the void. I'd say having him meet with Orrian Servais could happen too! As for your main I think meeting with any of my characters would work. I'll keep a look out for you so perhaps we can meet eventually as I'm looking to expand my RP. :bouncy:

I try role playing everywhere I can, just hard to role play alone in some places. :3 That it is, that it is! I hardly ever Roleplay at Ul'dah ever since launch really. I think I only ever roleplayed in that area 3 times, one of those times being because of an event my FC held. Its not that I dislike the place, its just I have no reason to be there ICly. It is true I have seen a thread like this a couple of times but sometimes you just got to be persistent. I can be found at Limsa Lominsa, or anywhere in La Noscea regularly so I'm game for more RP Hubs! I assume people do go check out for other spots only to contemplate, " Maybe I should just go to Ul'dah to find some RP since none can be found here. " But that can change of course, just gotta avoid the current norm!

I don't have additional work but I'd like to say I work at the Drowning Wench too! Well I only have my character work there a couple times a month because of well, real life. If you receive a friend request from Saeren Orbanis, that would be me. I would not mind working with you at the Wench sometime in the future.
