Hey everyone \o/ I’m going to put some feelers out there for anyone looking to rp with and just have some fun! I have a couple different ideas I would love to try out if anyone is interested or knows a group that is looking for some new bodies that being an FC / cross world welcoming FC via rp events/ link shell / discord / just a cwls/ or just a discord group. im open to switching across servers obviously lol. anyway! Here’s some of the things I’d like to try out first up I have Aurelia Feyrbrand! Which her carrd is [email protected] I’d love to join maybe a school rp for her or maybe a research facility type of rp since she craves knowledge and is a passionate learner. I’d love to keep her lore the way I designed it however if it doesn’t pan out I can work with it and adjust. I’d also like to toss her into a traveling band of adventurers as another idea so she could see the world and perhaps gain knowledge and understanding that way as well! the other characters I have are Lucian Feyrbrand [email protected] I’d love to perhaps join an adventure ish group with him or perhaps a guard like group. His whole design and main focus is a tinkerer and a gadgetier making work of robotics and being an intellectual of sorts. Again I’m willing to work things out for him I also have two other options if those two don’t work out but right now their the ones I kinda want to put out there right now and used solely for rp. I do have a main I rp with and do content on but I’m not feeling her for rp right now

When : May 31, 2019 : 2PM / 5PM / 8PM EDT or June 01, 2019 : 2PM / 5PM / 8PM EDT Registration will end May 28th, 2019 Several years ago, Ilwe’ran put together an event called the Blind Meeting. For this event, you would submit a short questionnaire and get matched up with other role-players and branch out. Making new contacts is sometimes hard for people, especially if they’re new to the server or very shy. This event will help bridge the gap some. Happily to say, the person I was paired up with became a good friend and 4 years later, we still chat. So you see, this kind of event does work! What is this Mystery Meet-up ? The Mystery Meet-up is a rendezvous without knowing beforehand who you are meeting. You will fill out the Mystery Meet-Up form and you will receive a date, a place, the initials of your RP partner(s) to meet them. See, all mysterious. This is NOT some sort of speed dating service. You will meet only one person ( or you may end up in a small group no larger than 4 people) and have as much time you want to RP together. The focus of the meet-up is to meet new people. Romance could happen but there is no guarantee. Again, this is not a dating service. This is not a match-making event; this is for you to branch out and expand your RP circle! On the questionnaire, if you indicate your character is open for romance, I will try to connect you with other people also open to romance. Who can participate ? Literally anyone on the Crystal Data Center who wants to meet new people. Sign-ups will be taken for the first 60 people. After 60, based on how many more there are, I will either start a waiting list or squeeze those few in. There are some things you should consider beforehand : - If you need a reason to be at this place at this time, you will have to think of it beforehand and discuss about it with your RP partner(s) at the meet- up. It's your own responsibility to come well prepared . Please be flexible when coming up with your idea! It could be as simple as sitting down on a bench to rest for a moment at that exact time and place. The possibilities are endless! - I ask you to be open minded, whether it’s about the place where you'll meet, your RP partner(s)' reason to be there, your RP partner(s)' demeanor, etc. - This is open to the Crystal Data Center. I will try to match people up from the same home-world unless you are open to traveling. If a match consist of two from separate home-worlds, you will be told which home-world to meet on. Hey all! Looking for RP contacts for my girl, Aki. She likes adventuring and making friends, of course, though she might not be the most socialised person in Ul'dah. Then again, who is? Don't be shy!

Greetings fellow RPers and to those on the Mateus server especially. Though I hope you all will check this out. I'll tell you a little about myself and then I'll have a few questions at the end if anyone is up to helping a RP newb get around. First, this is my first MMO of any kind. Been on since launch day on the PS4 and have never not wanted to be logged in. So much to do, so many cool places to go, so many interesting people, so many "interesting" people >.<. I'm a huge RPG fan all around and now that I've caught up, so to say, on content and finding most of my friends are jumping to other servers to raid more or hang out with real life friends, I find myself with lots of free time. I have always wanted to try RP, even wanted to play D&D when I was younger but no one where I lived played, and so I figure now is the best time to try. I am sadly more shy than I realized. I've been working on my characters background, but after several revisions I'm no closer to being done with it. I have tried to RP with a few people in game but I'm never sure how to approach many things. Many use the /em to start their stuff, others use "*" to dictate movements they make, others just want to sell ERP sessions for gil, and others still send back a "Don't talk to me" message even though their "RP" is up and their search comment says, "WU/T loved." Is this all normal? Is there more I should know before I go out to try this? I'm reading some of the articles here today so that will help some but it's funny, I can make a million bad jokes and puns in Party Finder, in Dungeons, Eureka, and so forth, but walking up to a character in a virtual bar gives me pause. Well, that's it for now. Like I said at the top, I would appreciate any and all advice and if you on Mateaus and you see me around, say "Hi" if my RP is up, I'll try to do the same. >.<d
