Greetings fellow adventures of Eorzea! My name is Diestoslimes, My in-game name is Jaythotha Blackcastle on goblin (Just rerolled there as I'm going to be streaming the story from the beginning as I have played through ARR before but have forgotten a large portion of events. No don't worry I have not only joined here to plug my streaming I know that's a big no no Would like to say hello to you all! I would like to first start off by saying I have played WoW for about 14 years since I was just a little slime! and have loved MMORPG's for quite a long time I used to roleplay allot in wow and even roleplayed allot in SWTOR my journey through the world of MMO's began in runescape back when I was in JR-high-school or lower I honestly cannot remember at the moment what got me into that! But enough of that I hope I can fit in well here and hope you all have had a good day I look forward to talking and RPing with you all at some point !

Venom //IC Info// Working under the guise of an up and coming school, the Crescent Lantern Institute in Shirogane, Venom uses the various classes that they teach to recruit potentials into their secret fold. Venom is a hush-hush organization of individuals contracted by the City States of Eorzea to assist with both the Voidsent and Garlean threats. The organization gathers intelligence for the war, and tackles situations that many would deem suicide missions. Venom is willing to take on the challenges for Eorzea that many mercenaries may find far too risky. While Venom is filled with patriots to the cause, it can find those within its ranks who have been conscripted to serve for the crimes they may have committed. //OOC Info// Venom is an RP-PvE Free Company located on the Mateus server of Final Fantasy XIV. We love our roleplay, we love our casual content, and we just like to goof around. We look for individuals who desire to actively participate with the rest of our members and have fun doing it. VENUS FLYTRAP WANTS YOU! We are a casual group lightly focused on endgame content in Final Fantasy XIV, currently situated on the Crystal data center. We are currently looking for members to fill the following roles — - Melee Physical DPS - Ranged Physical DPS - Ranged Magick DPS Because this is a casual group, we also encourage any interested to present alternate roles they’re keeping geared, be they Tank, Healer, or Damage-dealer. Flexibility is key for progress and fun — we’re willing to shake things up to make sure the members of our static are having fun, but we will hold fast to designated roles during pressing content. Currently, we are scheduled for one day per week — Thursday, at 8:00pm EDT/EST. Understandably, this is far less of a commitment than many statics aim for. Because of this, we encourage static members seeking more content to feel free to hit up Party Finder groups after our designated static time, regardless of loot-lockouts. Our sole raiding evening is meant to provide flexibility for people with many commitments — we don’t want it to be a barrier to anyone’s fun! The rules of our static are few and far between: Hate speech of any kind is not tolerated. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly group, and strive to be inclusive. This extends to how we represent ourselves in FFXIV and beyond. Fun comes first — we have one night together, and if we’re not having fun, we’re not doing it right. Levity is welcome. Eureka for Noobs Starting around 7pm EST, Nal will start forming a group for people to join in on Eureka runs. Eureka has a limited duration so if you miss the start you can be picked up later on a new run! Requirements: Level 70, and have completed the quest And We Shall Call It Eureka (Rhalgyr's Reach via Galiena). You must have cleared the MSQ Stormblood to have access to this side-quest. My gear is shit, can I come? YES! Eureka syncs everyone's armor to ilevel 300 so it doesn't matter if you're still in your crappiest gear! Though you may not want to wear RP gear For a more detailed explanation please check out this Newbies FAQ to Eureka. Important Notes! Dying Matters! Do not release when you die. After level 6 you will lose a chunk of exp when you release After level 11 you can even de-level. Always get raised if you KO. You cannot attune to additional Aetherytes until level 9 Notorious Monsters (NMs) provide an exceptional level of EXP and should always be prioritized if they are within 10 levels of you. Faeries offer buffs to players who stand near them. Always keep an eye out. You can change your element while in combat as long as you have charges. Charges return over time or by visiting an elemental wheel. DPS should put all their points into one element. Tanks / Healers may split them for defense/attack.

untilWe are having a Map Night! We'll be running Timeworn Gazelleskin Maps, the level 70 treasure maps that have a chance of opening the eight-man Lost Canals instance. Loot rules are outside the Canals = your map, your loot. This means whoever supplied the map we are currently doing can choose to need roll, can choose to greed roll to give everyone a chance, or may choose to pass if they're not interested. Automatically distributed loot goes to whoever it is randomly given to by the game. Inside the Canals, loot rolls will be Free For All. Everyone can roll Need on anything. If you're interested in coming along, please send me a Discord PM! You do not have to bring your own maps, but it is strongly encouraged and will increase your own chance of receiving loot. Should more than 8 people be interested, preference will be given to someone bringing maps over someone who is not, so I do recommend having a map or two ready! They can be purchased on the marketboard or obtained from gathering.
