Ordinus Ventus Gladius is a loose confideration of adventurers from across Hydaelyn. We have no specific mission statement. We maintain a hall in Shirogane at Ward 18, Lot 18. The Outriders are an Adventuring and Investigation Free Company, looking to do some good in the realm and make some gil doing it! A found-family made up of an eclectic mix of personalities, with themes varying from dark to slice-of-life.

'Path of the Rootless' is a Heavy RP Free Company on Omega server, with organized crime, mercenary work and occasional adventuring as the main focus. We often delve into dark, mature themes, with a penchant for the realistically gritty and anything that can pack an emotional punch. Cutthroats, stray souls, broken wanderers, fugitives and all manners of individuals barely fitting society (or not at all), can be a part of Path of the Rootless, for it reunites outcasts and those who have nowhere to be.

Raven Heart is an EU-based heavy roleplaying Free Company based on Balmung (NA) server. The core themes of the FC are mercenary and combat roleplay, and we offer a variety of contracts, weekly meetings, and events for our members to take part in. Furthermore, we have devised our own combat system that allows you to create abilities and personalise your character's stats to your liking. Casual RP can usually be found in our Mists FC Hall and is greatly encouraged.

Nestled on the shores of the lake in the Lavender Beds is a newly erected building that has seen quite a bit of foot traffic over the last several suns. Most prominent among them is a woman, starlight pale and garbed in red, who seems in every appearance to be guiding the strong-backed laborers and gardeners in their work. The placard, erected after the departure of the officials, bears the following words in a flowing script: “Red Lantern Bordello.” The workers now gone, the red-garbed woman seems alone - save for the shadows that slip in at night to find shelter and rest before leaving again. Ever do they come with hunched shoulders and hungry eyes, and always do they leave with lightness in their steps, their clothes and bodies washed, their hunger eased. Of late, a scattering of flyers has been seen in the city states, the gilded script of the Bordello announcing the hiring of staff as much as it holds the doors open for those who have little to nothing, offering a place of refuge in exchange for easy tasks to help the upkeep of the small building. The announcement reads as follows: “The Red Lantern Society is hiring companions of all race and genders, security of all ranges, and housing staff of all skills. We offer warm meals, comfortable lodging, and fair pay for skills-based work. Please contact Tsukiko Tanshi for more details, or visit us at the Red Lantern Bordello in the Lavender Beds, the ninth plot of the seventeenth ward. “We are also hiring independent contractors. Should you already be in the employment of a Free Company and are desiring extra coin on the side, or wish to partake in extracurricular activity on your own time, we offer the freedom to take clients and jobs without leaving those you are working for. Reize Maxia is a lore-abiding role playing Free Company created to draw together people who want more than casual encounters and aim towards story goals. Criminals, thugs and all unsavory types are welcome to share their stories and blend together for new events and group RP.

Revenant Daybreak is an adventuring group based in Ul'dah that operates within Eorzea and its neighboring regions. Its members come from all walks of life and are unified by their leader, a thaumaturge named Aerea Lyril. A particularly quirky and notably accepting group, the Shroudwolf Clan is a miqo’te keeper clan and Free Company located within the Lavender Beds, Ward 16 Plot 1.They believe in a traditionally modern approach to their family, meaning that they value both pragmatism and the traditional values of their keeper heritages. Though it a Keeper Clan in name, it accepts all races and creeds to its ranks. In some ways, it is more of a fellowship of comrades than a Keeper Clan, and yet because of their familial creed it exists as far more than a simple band of misfits.
