    I just...I really, really hate Viera. I hate that they walk around on high heels (yes, I know the explanation, but I think the explanation is bullshit). It's basically just another neko-esque race. I'd like to see something different.

    Okay, so I'm just popping in to say... Block her. Tell her to stop, and block her. I don't really know what's going on here. Honestly. I really don't. But that behavior is so emotionally manipulative and abusive that, frankly, you're better off without interacting with someone like that. Go back to raiding. Trust me, RPers are way too much drama. Asshole hardcore raiders will stress you out far less.

    I play a healer in multiple games. In FFXIV, I base my perception of healing on what the spells actually say they do (because all of those spells have lore behind them, thanks to the lore teams minor obsession with having lore for every. Single. Thing.). Like Faye, I go with whatever the patient's player wants to happen. Because it's their character, not mine. So sometimes Liadan's healing works really, really well. Other times, it just closes wounds and leaves heavy bruising behind.

    I don't think Erah'sae was talking about godmodding, Faye. And that's what that crazy ho was doing - she was godmodding. I think there's a huge difference. You tried to deal with it IC. Which is all Erah'sae was saying. The crazy ho wouldn't actually RP out consequences. Erah'sae wasn't in any way saying that you should continue to put up with that.

    Welcome! You have quite a few options these days. If you're in the US Datacenter, both Balmung and Mateus are available (though you may only be able to get into the former by doing a paid transfer off of another server). In the EU, Omega is the server of choice for RP. Take a look around and delve into the lore. I'm sure you'll have fun! Many of us also have history in WoW.

    Mateus is, as far as I know, still quite active. I believe they mostly organize their community through a Discord server, however.

    His examples were both public events in public places. i.e. if you're there, you're already attending a public event. In such situations, you'd be kind of a douche if you tried to treat it like it was your own private event. People would probably start ignoring your RP, tbh.

    I feel like this could all be summed up with a simple, "Do not godmod people, you POS" and "Be a considerate human being instead of a total asshat." Cause that's what all this is. It's godmodding. And asshats. I say this as someone who plays a healer.
