Welcome. I think for LS and FC I would start with the list on these forums. Yjere are some themed ones as well as more generic ones both IC and OOC. I did note that there is talk of Dragoon RP LS or Ishgard LS here

I started Open RP with that sentiment, and had to refine it slightly. So, hugs and I share here that focus on positives and please keep the negatives away. (from Open RP LS) I really feel there is only one rule I would set: "Be excellent to each other" More focus on: positive takes on things, RP Relevance, thank-you, tolerance, respect, hugs Less focus on: profanity, complaining, hogging the chat, personal attacks, off topic

*wobbly lines* Lets go way back to a time before PCs and Xbox and even Internets. I suppose I always like stories, comics at first and then fantasy books. I have built world, destroyed worlds. I have lived died and come back again. I have laughed cried and been amazed. May snacks were consumed, many pops guzzled. Nebula is a follower of Althyk, mainly from a futures point of view. She did IC change to another god but still reveres Althyk. What I can offer in terms of RP are.. For a crowed I could try a mass meditation/contemplation of their path? On a smaller one on one sideshow I could do.. Fortune Telling (Palm reading, Frog hopping, Spray paining etc..) Vision Pool (using waters from the pool at the base of the Observatorium to cast the light from their stars and allow someone to see visions of what has been, what is and what maybe) I'll leave the dancing naked on rocky outcrops under a full moon out

For me the character is like a sketch, and it is the white heat of RP that it truly forms. Often I have started out with a concept that looking back was flawed but in initial RP the true character has emerged and takes for itself those contacts and activities in the real (RP) world. My approach is to take all the snippets of RP and stitch then onto the tapestry of my character, so it starts like a patchwork but soon develops. This weaving then allows me to shift and join up between RPs so 1+1=3. I love free-form RP the most because of this. So the character is in the world and discovering the world and people, and that is most of the fun.. all those connections. Yes there are mechanical things to do, ensuring you take opportunities to RP and also create them for others. RP is out there, and if you you are not feeling it.. change something to light that spark? (edit: Also write notes as you flesh out the character, so you can maintain some consistency)

First.. e_DqV1xdf-Y Now with that out of the way. Ask not how much power, or even how it works. Instead ask what you do with it. We each are responsible for playing in a cooperative RP setting and all want something from this. So explain what you do and make the effects plausible and able to progress the RP, creating depth, colour and opportunity for others to RP with.

If you get to Mor Dhona, Nebbs goes big frog hunting there. Just don't kiss them, who needs giant princess popping up like Agrippa. She can be seen in Corthos with Ilwe often, collecting Drake tears, and the like. Also using the observatory for stargazing and fortune telling.

I tend to go two ways.. one is competent get it done, and the other I strive more for is quirky accident prone but some how it works, kind of. The aim being to get more out of a scene than just mechanical action. That and to be a pain So strange, comedic, and unreliable. - tripping - the wrong spell - fairy tips her hat in her eyes - suddenly frogs & summon bigger frog - using simple magic in creative ways (slippy floor anyone? mud bolt to the face?) - "wait I have the thing that does the thing that makes it harmless.. I think, or was it enrage?"

Ilwe'ran created a caravan that we used many times. She also has created many many types of rooms for RP. Honestly, I don't know how she stores all the stuff. And I keep going places that means she had to do rapid room changes. For RP this was just amazing.
