*coughs* Melodia was available to make Yangh not lonely. She usually sits by her nearby market board crafting away. *sighs*

Sure thing, which character? We only allow one due to space. Melodia. Thank you

The lalafell grinned and nodded, taking his leave from Zhi, considering what she'd said. He was a bit concerned and had done his best not to show her while in her presence but to him she'd seemed distracted, flustered....almost scared. Over what? The Yellowjacket? He'd seen her about and she was no danger. If she were, she'd have had a talk with him already and yet, she hadn't. Not a hint that she even knew he existed in Zhi's world. And if she was such a big threat, she'd have known. He shook his head and scowled at his..(what...)...partner's...nerves. This would do them both no good. She needed focus. Hopefully with some backing and and perhaps some coin, Zhi would be in a better place to figure out what the next step was. Besides, seeing Grace again would be nice. It'd been too long and besides, didn't she still have an open offer of companionship with one of her ladie--- He almost fell onto his back, his sword clanging a bit against the stone walkway. As he'd turned the corner, she'd run smack into him rounding from the other direction. A complete accident. And a poor one. It was the Jacket. Her blue hair was unmistakeable and her eyes...looking right into his face. "Oy! Ye all right, lit'le man? I did no' mean t' trample ye. Let me of'er ye a han'." She was polite. Still staring right at him...through him, almost. He stood on his own and brushed himself, stupidly unable to look away. His distinct single eye and face surely being etched into her mind. "Ah....no..no I'm fine, ma'am. Thank you though." MOVE YE DAMNED FOOL! Zhi scolding him as he stood there still. STILL! His anchored legs finally found some control and he shuffled a moment before nodding and moving along, silently cursing himself as he headed to the Wench. He'd stepped in it, for sure.

But you are standing where the straight piece is supposed to go! DENIED!!

!!! How did you get fr---I mean! Uh... *coughs* nothing. My rescue attempt was successful.

^ This. Especially that second sentence. If I am trying and making every effort but continue to get walls or silence, I can't help but take that as a giant middle finger to me.

My main concern is, I am a pretty lonely person irl and somewhat in the game. Because of poor interactions with many and people generally not talking, I end up taking things so very personally even though I shouldn't. I latch onto the smallest kindness as it makes me feel good irl. Like a little cure spell in a dungeon run. *bling* +342 But because I take it personally, I get this fragile mentality and it //does// affect my rp as I get leary of approaching new people. Saying hello IC to a stranger? EEEP!! *runs* Like a vicious cycle. :frustrated:
-
Thank you for your input all. I...think some of this thread actually made me more depressed, if that's possible? @_@

Oh, I am in deep trouble then.....I take that kind of stuff (the interaction engagement with others) super personal, each one lost breaks my heart.

*has no friends irl anymore* I know and agree with everyone here. I am just surprised because some folks I have even rp'd with tend to just stop saying hello or anything....it's just odd. This is my first MMO....first time I have ever really dealt with folks online. But it is HUGELY discouraging. Causes me to stick around my little tiny FC house a lot.

I have a question as I seem to run across this problem a lot in this game and so much so that I have had to do mass purges of my friend list lately. Why is it that people I tend to meet in this game are friendly to a point and then decide to cool and not to a minor degree but to a point where they no longer even want to talk? It's baffling to me. I have many many of my "friends" tell me one thing and then do the complete opposite, so long as it is with someone else. It's almost like a shiny object syndrome with some folks and I am wondering...is this common in MMOs? Or just here? Is this common mostly with rp'ers? Because my "friends" (not all.....but a lot) seem fairweather type and discourages me from getting out and meeting folks because I don't want to get burned or lied to or treated coldly again. :-/ Any thoughts?

Melodia threw the cuffed prisoner into his cell and locked the door behind him, staring through the bars as she grinned. She was pleased by her work. She'd only bloodied him and maybe the bruises would go away before her superiors noticed. "Enjoy yer stay. We're always willin' t' accomodate ye." She chuckled and walked to the restroom, washing her hands, and winced silently at the pain her knuckles felt. Staring into the mirror she sighed. Her hair was a mess and glancing down at the yellow top she wore, a streak of the man's blood was present. With a scowl she reached down and wet her thumb before trying to wipe it away, only managing to smear the blood into the fabric, surely staining the uniform. It was an apt moment of symbolism and wasn't lost on her.

Ruru smirked as he read the paper. Tossing it to the side he chuckled, going back to nursing his bottle of wine. "Who would'a thought? Makes me wonder why she was here in Limsa that day we met...."

For Ruru it would depend on the friends anymore. He's gotten quite cold and would likely choose the side that would best benefit him, aside from his loaylty to senpai that is. Melodia? Hahahahaha!!! She tends to be quite violent and would likely kick the hell out of all sides and enjoy it. -
Sounsyy! <3 So cute!

Nuuuuu! *saves the fat cat from falling and pets.* Safe kitties are best!

I just want to send out thanks and kudos to my friend and rp buddy Zhavi for coming back and working with me to set up a fun rp thread here to transition her back after her hiatus. It's a fun and exciting rp and looking forward to see where it goes and have enjoyed playing our baddie duo for some time and its nice to see it revived. And thanks to those reading it. Always nice to see people appreciating the story.

Melodia sat in her apartment, sipping a glass of water, her hand on her chin as she considered her options. She could send the other Jackets amok through the city tearing it apart, though that'd be a hell of a thing to try and explain to her superiors. No. Kink was her problem, her own personal issue. She would deal with her. The question was... "Where're ye, me lit'le runner? Where're ye hidin'?" She mumbled the question to herself and tapped her boot against the floor before her eyes flashed wideand a grin hit it. She set the water on the table and stood, grabbing her axe and strapping it to her back. Her mind flashed to the party at the Wench and the table...the people at the table. "Yer goin' t' th' redhead." She stepped out of the apartment, heading to the Drowning Wench to see what she what she would see.
