  1. It's because he forgot the follow-up! "Do you want to?" Oh myyyyy  *furiously scribbles in notebook* Can you also scribble in there that the 90s called and they want their frost back? Zing

  6. "I erm...guess you'll take care of the rat from here? She seems to be quite the glutton." Gratitude was evident in the eyes of the conjurer as she reached up and took the rat from the man. The critter was certainly plump and sluggish, her fur soft from attention. Surely this was her quarry! The children of Ul'dah called her Missus Cornelia Snickerdoodle as she was a frequent of the hovels and something of a mascot to the little ones who found shelter therein and underneath the sunlit streets of the Jewel. Some would be remiss to learn she missed the display of strength and skill above, as highlander met miqo'te, arm in arm, as the puddling found true happiness. Such a cruel ruse to play upon such a peculiar creature. But Jancis missed it all as she flipped over the rat to soothe it and button it safely away in her leather pouch. "I don't suppose I could ask you or any one of these fine ladies to lay on the ground and attract more? This may be a prime location for them, and they are clearly attracted to flesh - if not in the manner I had originally intended." Quite the voice came from above, barely in view from Jancis' spot in the sewer, with an older eloquence to it. She looked around her vantage point, shining the lantern about the area. The tunnels did glisten with pudding 'tracks'. Taking her original bait of walnuts and soft cheese, Jancis broke it apart and tossed around the gutter, throwing the excess out onto the street above. "I have baited the way, but there is little else to do. Lord, I will thank you proper for this favor, I shall!" She called from below. The echoing of metal tapping coming shortly after as Jancis made her way, hopefully, back.
  7. Jancis managed the early morning with a light smile. Luckily Aya had been in her path, sweet woman as she was had the power to always carry a smile despite the look of terror that had been on her face bells earlier. The cheerfulness and promise to speak of better times were heartening. Time had slipped past her and Jancis wasn't really sure how long ago she had seen the look of terror on the lady's face, how long ago Cici had called her name in panic to no avail, how long she had been running through the canyons and valleys of the desert in search for the black-haired highlander responsible. Her legs and feet were aware of how long it had been, but they did not state their case too loudly. In the end, Jancis came up with nothing useful, though rumors and words still danced in the air of the city. Some say she got away, some say she was caught, some didn't care if the woman got away with it regardless of her motive of provocation. But she would care, Jancis' mind wandered to the red-haired paladin as she washed her dust-coated and sweaty clothes as best she could with a washcloth. Cici would care that such an action happened right before her. The sun was already rising, which was good enough to dry the simple doublet and pants in the sunshine of a window ledge. Washing herself up in the same manner, she closed her eyes for a few hours rest. Sir Yigir would have more answers once Jancis could find the axeman. It was not your fault nor responsibility, Cici. Thaliak shall allow this woman to know such. Pray Sir Castille speak such wisdom to her. Pray she sleeps now.
  8. Missus Cornelia Snickerdoodle was a scared lost and alone rat who needed to be returned to the children who adore her. Someone had to do it.
  9. My eyes are just watering up so much. Best distraction at work ever.
  10. Thank you so much. Such a pleasure to work with after the change in request! And I am so honored to have some of your artwork!
  11. [19:36][7] I always have an elf companion. It's a rule. [19:37][7] I never thought about Leanne having retainers...hm.. [19:37][7] And she always ends up being naked. [19:37][7] She's not naked. She's in platemail now. [19:37][7] ho [19:37][7] yes Kage? [19:37][7] Yeah. And I'm not an elf either. Two in One
  12. I know we touched base before about weaving some ideas together. Even though that's still in the air can always keep a tentative acquaintance. Jancis now lives in the Limsa area and spends her days working for the Maelstrom by travelling the coast and assisting the people there. She's basically a travelling merchant and frequents the towns, docks, and sometimes the farms. She grew up in the wild so her ideas on law are more idealistic and not exactly concerned about following them based on wordage (aka moral compass) and also lacks a lot of typical social graces so she can be manipulated into assisting out of ignorance to social customs. Also, as a medic, she's a typical helpful sort and has a habit of getting talked into doing harder labor around farms and docks because of it. I can forum RP most of the time, it really depends on how heavy my workload is. Can expect a reply every couple of hours on average.
  13. Sorry I was referring to the add-on to do that. How am I suppose to easily copy the sweet youtube tunes people paste in the chat box first try?! Hehehe
  14. I do write in Notepad often to start getting ideas in so I don't lose them. So even if the scene changes I can re-read and edit to fit what happened. If I write too far in the game text box it is difficult to scroll back through and fix little things. I don't normally go over the max limit for the characters, but having that instant plug in would be a nice quality of life trait. Shame that copy/paste isn't available. I filter down another tab and copy as large as I can, but it is a little outdated in function. I wouldn't want good people taking risks because of the few that ruin good intentions. Like parsing speech data. A Copy All would be a step up.
  15. Little off topic.:moogle: I agree there, mostly because I play healer primarily. I stare at my UI and not much else. Being able to modify that is a great quality of life. I look at it so much differently than DPS. Back on topic! But really for Role play it would be nice to have a more versatile text box to copy/paste. I know this is beyond basic stuff, but it would be nice to have a wardrobe viewer. That's a huge thing this game is lacking. I can try on single pieces of clothes to get ideas, but when it comes to trying to combine things I can't picture it.
  16. I think the trick is with those logs is they also do not parse everything. My extremely limited understanding of it is being a dump after the in-game log gets past X amount of lines. I only say that because I haven't found everything I've done in it before. It's so-so. Someone with bigger more sophisticated words please flesh this explanation out.
  17. Agreed I think it's a role play yes-yes. You also have a character that can travel and get to places. I know that can go along with leveling, per say, but this game holds a lot of attunements where the phrase 'level up' doesn't give it enough credit to the time sink for areas, mounts, pets, jobs, etc. I would definitely play along with that and enjoy it. A name does not ruin my immersion whatsoever. Power of Imagination Activate!
  18. The Ebony Lady. Love all of these festive lights!
  19. Jancis looked up at the man, her nose and eyes visible. Turning as much as she could to see the display of pudding grope-ade, she sighed. "Lord, the nature of the pudding is to gather sweetness from the ground. It, ah, well, there." Her hand came up, unable to finish her explanation of how the creature was getting plenty of bait where it perched. "The rat would be more of a threat at this point." She motioned up, lifting her hand out of the sewer grate up at him. "Only a chest of greater size could possibly lure such a pudding, forgive me, for my angle is poor and the sun does set upon some glare, but you, Lord, might be the best bait to relieve the Lady of her, ah, dilemma."
  20. A smile grew on the conjurer's lips as her quarry was in sight. The fluffy missus rat was nearly in reachable distance when suddenly two large feet closed the distance. Two large hands came down and swooped up both the bag and the rodent! "Ah! Forgive me, Lord." Jancis' voice came from the sewer, polite laced with an apologetic tone. "Might I trouble you for that rat?" Hands came up to the edge of the sewer grate, like a prisoner, as she looked up best she could at the highlander. "I have been here since the morning bell looking for her."
  21. I know that pain. I need to get Jancis out there to make more friends and connections. What better way than hiding in the gutter?
  22. This event sounds fun! Everyone has stuff to bring after the big housing craze. Little crafted and gathering goods from learning trades. Hunters with furs and stuff! Whee! Jancis can do a farmer market kind of goods with some random wild-picked goods. Fruits, nuts, flowers! Pillar swapping? That sounds like a whole different event...
  23. Work Hard Break Hard See you when you get back... hard? Good to hear from you though, a lot of people asking around.
