Also, that going cray cray with the Inner Beast can be tempered by actually doing your goddamn job (aka defending allies). The beast craves conflict, it's up to you to pick the right battles.

Honestly it feels like we can just stop wearing right-side altogether. VIT's useless, STR is only good because it gives us more ATKP to fuel Equilibrium/Second Wind. I can understand making parry a flat 20%, but it's still a RNG stat that won't really mitigate much. It feels like SE has no real clue what to do about tanks, and WAR just ended up being on top because of how its mechanics just enable it to do stupid awesome damage. In 50+ dungeons tanks have it rough until they start matching up the gear. I got SHREDDED my first time through the Vault, and the second run was a lot smoother due to the gear I'd gotten. I got shredded in Fractal and now it's a bit more manageable since I have two i180 pieces.

Can I vent that STR spec is stupid and trivializes a whole subset of right-side gear?

It's universal I'm afraid. I've seen exactly two pieces of tank gear drop, neither of which I needed (DRK sword, helmet part which I already have).

If you hit the posting limit constantly in an area where many people are trying to RP and conversations can easily be lost... You might be irritating me a tad. also other stuff but they got nothing to do with RP. That would be about as horrible as someone deciding to RP entirely using Finnegan's Wake as a base. Also cutting-up a monitor is costly.

So while people were losing their shit over omg Allagans created the Ixal, I'd just like to draw attention on the other following revelations from that dungeon. - The Allagans manufactured Manikins (Dissidia reference, but beyond the name they don't seem to share any specifics). - The Allagans hybrided a voidsent and another creature (Nagas) - Granted, at that point they were probably thinking "Hm we can make voidsent + face but... can we make... ANYTHING + ANYTHING LET'S TRY IT!"

That no matter how bad it gets... the RP community doesn't even come close to how frustrating Hunts can get.

Anyone who gets repeatedly killed in Bismarck HM to mini-Landslide. You get nailed once and thrown over if you're unlucky, but you should LEARN from that and avoid the large cone! Poor ranged deeps tho * * * "I NEVER HAD IT THIS HARD HEALING THIS INSTANCE" (Fractal Continuum btw) so i herd u talkin' shit please do not be passive-aggressive when talking shit. this is the type of behavior that leads to people looking for blame, rather than solutions to a problem. for example, instead of saying the above, you could have said : "why are you getting torn apart from regular tanking you piece of shit tank" then i could have answered "yeah i'm STR specced and trying to get more gear from this" alternately you could have also asked why the blm kept dyin' to not dodging, but that's neither here nor there.

I have harrr peed with these folks and they are pretty danged amazing. If you've a magical bent or even a magical straight you should look them up. I hear they are a good resource on Nym. And Voidsent.

The kid you get the quest from explains that the Allagans used Eikon in a whole other context - such as the Warring Triad who are currently imprisoned and who the EX primals would try to free if left alone. They aren't actually (FROM WHAT WE ARE TOLD) borne of the beliefs of mortals + random source of power. Kinda like how dragons are aliens. The Garleans just use it to refer to any primal because they think they're as cool as the Allagans.

Odin would classify more as an Eikon than as a Primal (the distinction is made much more clear when you unlock Bismarck EX) in my opinion.

In my mind - you need to have backed up your actions. Someone who RPs that they, say, defeated a primal, I'm gonna expect you at least got that far in the MSQ. This is a bad example, but you get what I mean.
