Kudos to the Fogfens Spear Retrieval crew for the fun adventure, even if, y'know, hypothermia. Sadly, I forgot a lot of names other than Flynn's and Markus Krosse because Flynn added me and Roysia and her lovely girlfriend Leanne OH YEAH NINI AND RAIK TOO. I don't think I'm forgetting anything now! Yay just getting up memory. Still, kudos because it was a lot of fun and danged glad I got involved with the crew when I did.

While we should totes change this indeed Lili, I swapped a rumor for another, more interesting one in the Uncommon ones due to something that happened tonight.

I'm not gonna go by brand. Beer : Local micro-breweries or bust. The rest of the stuff just doesn't add up, and if I choose, I refuse to drink a beer under 9%. Extra strong IPA, Imperial Stout or Barley Wine are my choice. I say local, but I'd say the same regardless of where I am. There's breweries everywhere these days. Rum : Brown spiced. I've tried way too many brands and ages to care. Vodka : Chilled if it's good. Screwdriver if it's not. Whiskey : Bourbon is my poison of choice, but Kentucky style, not the others. Not a fan of the sour mashes either. Blended over single-malt, but I've never had quality single-malt other than that one twelve-year I drank which I forgot the name. I'll break my own rule and mention a dark rum blended scotch from the Benriach that's quite a treat. Creams : Maple creams only, and in coffee only. I just use 'em as creamer. On that I'm as Eastern Canadian as they come.

If you want a character on Balmung/Gilga, Gilga's the easiest but I've never been on there personally so I dunno of the community there. Balmung has been extremely hard to get onto as of late, but we expect the end of the holidays until January 20th to change that a bit. Even so, prior to Maintenance/Immediately Post-Maintenance are good times too.

'cause, while I don't think I'll remake a Duskwight anytime soon, wouldn't I have egg on my face if I found out the last name I'd be using for ol' dusky is actually a Wildwood name. * * * Back to thread. Keep in mind, there's several ways the Nuhn could disguise the practice : 1) Making it part of tribal rites of achieving adulthood. If, say, the Nuhn is a pugilist, sending out a child in the desert, alone and unarmed, to face off a sandworm, defeat it and haul the carcass back as proof (and not just a tooth), is very likely to kill the child... and even if he manages, the Nuhn could slip in the dead of night and execute the child. 2) Possibly have another line who have a bone to pick with that line and enlist their help in extinguishing it. Plenty of other ways.

If framed like the poll suggest, in that it is a choose one/discard two scenario, Kellach would not be able to answer right now. Fighting for Eorzea -> Why would he give away his friends and self for a land that isn't even his? Fighting for Friends -> What good is saving your friends at the cost of your life and the world's? Fighting for Self -> No world, no friends... what then? It would likely be a scenario that paralyzes him, or ineffectively has him try to pull off the trifecta of saving everything. Perhaps he'd lose his life in the process but help out the world and his friends in the process. That would be the most likely outcome where he'd have an ounce of satisfaction from this scenario. For my as of yet unmade alt (Who's name is Cwinuwil Fyrfolgsyn unless it's already taken when I make him), it would be the World first. He made a vow when he was "reborn", and he'd never go against it. ...unless it involves fire in any way. He's still deathly scared of fire.

I always viewed them as a holdover until you could actually get the Artisan's Gloves yourself since they're 10 Oaknots as opposed to a fuckton of gil or mats + person to craft them. Not all of us are rich as fuck.

This is so fucking stupid, I have to find a way to bust this wide open. I know that when it comes to progression they've been absolute fucking idiots in the past but this is like... Unless you can get the required numbers for artisan crafting with full melds on left side (which is wasting materia at this point) how the fuck was this even done in the first place.

So wait... You're supposed to get up to 4* crafting... to craft your artisans... when you need the artisans to get to 4* Good fucking job SE.

Saw your message - the items are 3* I think I'm actually gunning for a self-reliant crafting experience myself so I'm hoping I'll be able to game the system enough to craft my artisans myself.

The only way out of this mess would be to use the back door introduced by the lore panel in that there's people researching how to access and use Succor for nefarious means. I personally plan on maxing everything, but not having its powers IC. Typically, if I carry the weapon visibly, it's IC. If I don't, I'm using the class as a storage for a glamour that's important for the character.
