I wish that some will learn to be more understanding and empathetic of the people around them in the coming year. And I'm going to be a bit selfish, sorry, and wish that my mum has a Merry Christmas with no pain or trouble. I hope everyone on here has a Merry Christmas too. :love:

Hey, a very big welcome for when you arrive!

If the lore is interesting then I may change Aris. I've been thinking about it any way (maybe highlander) as, although I enjoy her design and personality, I'm not keen on the Miqo'te lore and I've not really thought much about her background because of that. Thankfully as I haven't developed her as much as others have with their characters, and don't know anyone IC, if she was to change it wouldn't make any difference to anyone else! She'll still be the same ole' Aris regardless. Otherwise, I'm going to try tanking from a lv.1 Au Ra alt.

I confess, I ended up being a bit too nervous to chat to anyone, but the singing put a smile on my face, and it was awesome to see so many friendly people there and dressed up. I lurked for a while and thoroughly enjoyed reading some of the conversations. Very well done! Thank you to you and the team for putting it on. Hopefully there'll be another next year.

I just wanted to add, you can't watch the cut scenes back (which is annoying on SE's part :?) so if anyone would like a recording of your ceremony, I'm happy to help, time permitting!

A open, community plot sounds like a really neat idea, and it would be a great opportunity for those who aren't in any FC or group plots, and make more connections. But how that could be arranged, I have no idea. As for more regular events, maybe something involving hunts (eg. IC B rank hunt or treasure hunts) or some sort of chill evening at Camp Bronze Lake. Or if there were enough characters who sell things, a weekly/monthly market. I'm not good at ideas D:

I wish they had made the female Au Ra more scaly looking and similar to the males! But otherwise, the new race looks very cool. Can't wait to try out the new classes. HEALING CLASS \o/ and finally Aris has a gun class, which fits her perfectly. But I'm sad knowing my connection is going to be truly awful when the expansion is released. I don't want to leave Balmung, but I wonder if it will help with lag by moving somewhere else. ALSO NEW RAID YAYAY

Another thing I could help with is if you need a healer! Perhaps you're leveling a DPS and queues are ridiculous. Send a tell and I'll come and heal a few and hopefully it'll help.

These awful lag issues are atrocious. I always feel so guilty when I'm laggy. Which seems to be 90% of the time. Hate the lag. Hate it.

Aris specializes with a lance and hand-to-hand combat, but doesn't use aether currently and is just a basic solider type of thing. Very mundane. The picture in my sig isn't remotely IC

My lala Nimimi works around Thanalan helping refugees as a trainee healer and weaving. I can imagine our characters meeting someplace or another.

This is a fab idea! I'd like to do it with my alt Nimimi. Anonymous or not doesn't really matter - although I'd like to know more about how the anonymity would work as I think I'm getting a bit confused! She's quite a busy little Lalafell so once or twice a week would be best. If the other person wasn't able to reply as often I wouldn't mind, as long as they don't mind the speed I reply in either.

Aris would appreciate a new travel bag. Her current is a very worn duffel with several holes that are poorly sewn together. She remembers to keep her leathers, armor, boots and weapon in good condition, but the bag is always forgotten. Nimimi on the other hand would like some comfy slippers, a dressing gown and a nice mug of hot chocolate. She travels between Little Ala Mhigo and Ul'Dah, helping refugees by weaving fresh clothes in between training to be a healer. While she doesn't stay same place for a long amount of time, when she does stay in the Hourglass (which she considers to be her home) she'd love to add some homely touches. Fuzzy slippers to keep her feet warm on early starts would go a long way.

This is a wonderful idea! I'd like to help if possible! I'm afraid haven't a lot of gil to offer wonderful items like these kind folk have, however I'd like to help anyone learn and clear their desired raid. (T5, T6, Ramuh EX, Mog EX) The best way to do this would be to arrange a time/day and set up a learning party. Hopefully we can gather everyone interested in wanting to learn or wishing to help, and set aside a bit of time to do it. If there are a lot of people wanting to do it then I'll set up a separate thread to arrange things so we don't take over this one. And I know this isn't much, but if anyone wants 0-50 Weaver items I can give you those! I'm not any star yet but I think that could make you a large amount of HQ items for leves (although I'm not sure if I can make HQ 40-50 items) If I were to wish for anything, it would be with a little help with leveling any craft, or a slow AK run for my SCH relic.

Oh no! I'm sorry. I wonder if it's possible to swap times with someone? I know several people picked times in a rush and didn't get ideal ones either.

I might be able to record the event if anyone would like it. I need to test on my PS4 what format it uploads in and how I could give it to you, but otherwise I know it records.

Do you actually get to keep the dress and haircut? I thought it was just for the ceremony. ..Well that makes the fees much more understandable.
