Eresh is my only oddball as far as I can tell. She is Seeker who wasn't raised in the tribes or even by other Miqo'tes. She is the adopted daughter of a Lalafell sea captain and his merchant wife. All of their children are adopted and of a variety of different races. Eresh has been raised in a loving home and is well versed in merchant life with a tinge of field healing experience. I went this route because when I started playing FF, I hadn't intended to stay and RP. I didn't like the game the first time I tried it so I didn't have a lot of hope the second time. Once I decided to stay and RP, I found I didn't care for the traditional Seeker existence and didn't want to play that but wanted to keep my character the way she was. I like the way she looks as a Miqo'te (she was originally an Elezan but I couldn't get into it). I have alts for playing other races. So I created a backstory that would accommodate the fact that she wasn't raised by the tribes. She spent half of her time on the ocean with the other time being divided between Ul'dah, where she was born and where her mother's family is located, and in Limsa, a huge trading post where her father hails from and where the Scholar school is located. Yes, her father is a Lala but his line holds strong ties to the sea so it makes sense that they would have eventually relocated to Limsa. That's just my logic behind it. *shrugs* I tried to find a way to make something I liked work within the bounds of the lore present.

Hello all of my amazing RPC people! I have a few questions to throw out there to you and see what I can get. We've just opened up an RP tavern and inn to the community. The majority of people we've seen have been wonderful but we've started running into issues with the not so wonderful. My questions are as follows: How do you handle trolls? True trolls who come in to disrupt RP not those that just come in to check out the house OOC. We'd appreciate them letting us know they're there OOC but we have no problems with people wanting to have a look around. How do you deal with outsiders wanting to turn your FC house into their personal ERP spot? Yes, we've had a few people members have had to cut off at the pass because they came into the house specifically to ERP downstairs. This is not something we approve of with our members let alone outsiders as we are not an brothel/ERP FC. If RPers want to rent a room, technically we can't and won't control what they do in a private room in party or whatever but in the public spaces... We don't want that kind of reputation. Do you close down your house when the tavern/inn are not open? I hadn't wanted to do that but we've had to start closing the house down because people are walking in and expecting us to have full service RP at 2 and 3 am when most of our members are preparing to log. Some of them have become rather rude about it or come back at a later time only to get the same response from someone else who is wrapping up their affairs and getting ready to log. Just keep it up, Aaron! I go with bouts of not drawing or painting for long periods of time and it takes a little while to get back into the swing of things. Your work is really good so I can only imagine what a little bit of time will do for you.

We're currently looking for wait staff to tend the tavern as well as a second bartender. No, you don't have to be a part of the FC to work for us (or just come hang out... You're always welcome to bring him out to the Lantern (our FC tavern and inn; Lavender Beds, Ward 1, Plot 38). We have good company, jobs available and/or a strong ale with a hot meal. There are a couple people within the FC he might have some things in common with especially when it comes to having been raised on/living on a ship. I won't speak for anyone else but my own character, Eresh, was raised on a trading vessel. She has the refinement learned from years of study and interacting with vendors and customers but underneath is still a sailor's daughter with sailor ways.
