Steel Wolf is inspiring. Saying he isn't afraid to overcome what rides on his nerves would be a lie; bravery isn't about not fearing, it is about taking a step forward in spite of that fear. Rather than fearlessness, I see bravery in Steel Wolf time and time again. He strives continuously in the Night Blades to contribute to the Free Company rather than to simply be there, and gosh, it would be difficult to hold a higher regard for his efforts. There are days that I hope I can be as outgoing as he, and that's not something I say everyday.

Mmhm! That's working for some (with the exception of me) so I also recommend this course of action for those who cannot log in because of the queue window. EDIT: A helpful Enzo told me that changing your data center from American to Japanese multiple times and trying to log into Balmung after each change should also help with the queue. The more you know!

Damn, no amount of logging out and logging back in helped me with that queue window. Maybe Squeenix is trying to tell me to just clean the house already. That wasn't on my to-do list for today. ;; :cactuar:

I've seen nothing but kind things about and from Nebbs. Additionally, I'm the type of gal whose favorite thread is the couples screenshot thread, and Nebbs bumps that like no tomorrow! I adore seeing all of the new pictures she posts there.

First of all, welcome! Balmung has been open for me early morning (4 AM to 7 AM CST) Wednesdays and Thursdays if you aren't too keen on shelling out the cash for the transfer. For the past two weeks, it's been open on one of those days, so I'd say it's likely it won't be any different this week. EDIT: As for Gilgamesh; as far as I've seen, all servers but Balmung are open early mornings on weekdays. The downside is that most people on Gilgamesh don't use the RPC, and instead have their own site - but if you don't mind that, Gilgamesh is an option too.

I've never truly went and searched for Y'lani's singing voice, simply because I didn't know if I wanted her to be excellent or not — (her entire plot is focused around her struggle as a tribal Miqo'te adjusting to the common world, so I happen to be rather harsh on her) — but I love this. You even followed her desert theme with the background music! I might update this with the more people I meet in-character, as right now I only have one. I can imagine Cliodhna in this situation in the same role as Horo/Holo. I even imagine they have similar voices! wINa_YZj-kg

Warren's last name reminds me of Castle, which compels me to relate his character to tarot cards. Here's the mighty one that Castle reminds me of most. If only my name had a similar effect! I swear this is a compliment. Take it as you will.

Not my best work, since I drew it in five minutes on a rough surface, but... Y'lani's sigil would be a spear, stained with a bloody edge and tied down by rope. I'll have to make an abstract version sooner or later.

Yes! Another Jaguar tribe Miqo'te! :moogle: I put a lot of lore into Y'lani's splinter of the Jaguar, so if you ever want to plot out any tribal roleplay with her and her experiences with the Jaguar (of course, Y'uraq could be from a different part of the Jaguar - in which case, it'd still be neat to have them meet) just let me know!

I've got low level ACN on balmung, my main is on Mateus. I'm rusty though and might take me a while to think of something decent. No worries! I'm not spectacular with roleplay all the time either, and in my opinion - as long as you enjoy it, all is well. T'kajik is also a lowbie. Y'lani is close to level 40, which... isn't bad if you account for how slow I level. (The entire Tavern linkshell knows!) I can lend a hand in brainstorming ideas. The best ways to get to me are in-game or through RPC messages. I'm also frequently on Skype, although if you're not comfortable with the chatbox there, it's not a problem.

Are you on Balmung? If so, I have two characters I can offer up! One is a brash, tribal Seeker who frowns upon any of her kind that choose to neglect their cultural roots, and another is a merchant apprentice mage who was raised near Limsa Lominsa and is far too skittish for her own good. The wiki for my tribal Miqo'te is below... and I'm still working on the one for my arcanist, T'kajik Yana. If you're interested in a particular plot with either of the two, just let me know! I'm pretty flexible if the idea is believable.
