That said, Virella does have a reasonable amount of contact with mercs, so that may eventually lead to something in the long run if your char were to find out

Nope haven't found anything myself. I was really disappointed when we found out we had to get our AF2 trough tomestones. Not so much I have to put effort into it, but rather we seem to miss out on lore why we are getting these outfits.

Uuuh personally I would stray away from roleplaying one of -those- clones, seeming they are lore characters after all. And if I recall the end of WoD, they do vanish don't they? Personally I wouldn't touch anything along the matters of clones/Allagan tech to that point! But that's my two cents on the matter

While back in the days (lol) I cleared all the coils, but t7 holds a special place in my heart. IF I STILL HAD ONE. THE SNAKE LADIES TOOK IT. God that fight was such a pain in the ass before it got nerfed to shreds. t7 true scob endboss.

I have no idea as I've put her trough deaths of relatives already. However if she lost another lover, or her child, that probably would break her. Got no idea what she would do. May be shutting herself off, may be turning into a heap of rage, or just kill herself off; I can never tell with Vi, she does as she pleases.

First of all, I think you should point out how far you've managed to go trough the MQS ! I can give answers to your questions, however they would be rather spoilery!

I just happen to have a character who loves reading such books in her spare time! So I'd imagine she will be more than happy to meet up. However there is one downside currently; she is and will remain in Ishgard for a good while. I hope this does not pose any troubles tho!

Personally I think the reason why Ishgard has so many festivals is to keep the citizens happy; to make it all gloomy would have quite the opposite effect after all! That was exactly what I was thinking! The Autumn War celebrations in Ishgard seems to be all about 're-enacting' the whole thing; in fact, it is all but re-enacting, and just a reason to celebrate and let knights punch eachother in the dirt to strike their ego, even the knight who were playing the Ala Mhigans win at times because Ishgardians are hard about tossing their pride aside, and do not stick to how history goes. Some leve lore on the festival! However turning it into an Ishgard vs Ala Mhigo event type of thing, of course all very friendly (a little bit at least!) festival would be very fun to If you want shoot me a message ingame or in PM; but for now I am going to lay down because I slept terribly and I need a nap!

After HW release, and the amazing lore we've gotten, I found that Ishgardians have a lot of festivals, next to the holiday ones we already know! However, I would need some volunteers for people to help me out with brainstorming some ideas, and as sadly enough Garland Tools is not working for me currently, I cannot look up the fine details. From the top of my head I do know they celebrate the new Dragoons/Knights being taken into their orders, have a festival were they relive the Autumn War and another with putting flower crown's onto children's head. The fine details are missing currently, but either of those three could possibly make for a server wide event! Let me know if you would be interested in visiting such an event, and if you would like to help out IC/OOC!

To be honest, the naming conventions (especially for Ishgardians/Elezen) make no sense if they do not speak "French". You do not get to French pronunciation by speaking English. You can ask any French teacher you like for confirmation of that :-D Uuuh. My sister and I both have Gaelic names, pronounce it as such, but I am pretty certain I'm Dutch to the core, and outside the online world I rarely speak any English. I may just point out that having x name from a language does not automatically make you a native in that language x_X It is a bit flawed logic you are using there.

Personally I do not feel anxiety at all; in truth dungeons with too many random people frustrates me mostly of the time. That's why I mostly run my dailies with friends, so I do not have to worry

What about an old Astrologian co-worker who is probably going to flip her lid due to an Ishgardians being outside Ishgard right now- Uuuh. Virella will not be out of Ishgard for a good while, however she does sometimes go map hunting in the other city states (I personally felt I needed an excuse for her to leave Ishgard, especially due to her not liking the other city-states at all)! So that could be a possibility eventually for them to meet up. I just cannot promise when and where I will have Vi out of Ishgard again

What about us roleplayers who already do this : <? Bit OT perhaps, but often I can figure out within few sentences if people are US or EU roleplayers due to this little difference! However I guess this would be a nice question for the devs someday! I personally would not go "Hey my elezen speaks French, or hey my Doman speaks Japanese." until we get some confirmation on it at least.
