Ishgardians seem to have politcal marriages, or so I assume such. Why else send assassins to a wedding ey? http://xivdb.com/?leve/125/Supply-Side-Logic

From what I read from Reddit someone phoned Steam about it. They said Steam will have early access as well. Take it with a grain of salt.

*smacks the Enchiridion onto Lolo's table* Here start with that, unbeliever! I really hope we get to see excerpts from Halone's Enchiridion :3

OF: lol @ picture OT: I have to slightly disagree with you there. Anyone can respond to your posts on tumblr (via reblog) if it's a public posting. I also don't agree with the implication that it's only cowardly if you do it on Tumblr, but fine if you talk smack in linkshells, free company chats, or in skype groups. I mean, it's pretty much the same. You're probably more likely to rile up a sever-side mob in a FC/LS than a whiny FFXIV-tagged tumblr post. OF: thank you, yes, it is a glorious piece of art ain't it?! OT: Not everyone has a Tumblr though. That said it is still not a nice thing to do. But I'm just not going to be a saint here and go "OH! OOOH! You shouldn't do that!@$!@!!!!!". My point being here we all talk trash at times, however I find it cowardly when you go publicly with it and do not give the chance for the person to respond back. Some people are simply not keeping track of who is stirring what drama (like myself), or simply do not have a Tumblr. Either keep your frustrations behind 'locked doors', keep it private or just address your issues with said person. I'm not going to be mother Theresa here and go "Oh no you are terrible, and shouldn't talk shit behind people's back." because we all do.

Tumblr is a place for me were I post semi IC stuff, semi OOC stuff, and random stuff what 95% of the time have to do with FFXIV. Personally I have no need to bring up names, people, their roleplay and what not for if I have issues with them I simply leave them be, or say it out loudly. People tend to forget that these blogs are just blogs. Some people use them as their mechanic to cool off, others use them strictly IC, others use it for sillyness, others for art, or all of the above. However I must agree that nagging behind people's back on Tumblr is a cowardly thing to do. Surely we do all do it on Skype, LS chat, FC chat or where ever really. But going semi public about it and not giving people the chance to defend them? That I don't like whatsoever, especially due to people being very aware that said person cannot respond back onto them. And I felt this piece of art was a good fit this discussion. No really. This sums up my thoughts about Tumblr for 99% of the non-art, non-ffxiv posts.

Just did it onto Balmung for the first time. Still don't expect people to come in and listen, and actually be an addition to the team. Oh no, it will be quite the same as before. Just that one dragon killer can be missed and things hit a lot less hard. It depresses me that people come in there without any clue what they are doing, and not even bothering to listen, or look up a tiny guide despite all the complaining, nagging and whining so many have done. Bah, how much do I hate to carry people trough content while they do not deserve it at all. That said, you need about give or take four people who know what they are doing and you're golden. But given people's attitude with "Gimme my carry plox" once they can hit that DF button, I fear this still won't be a solution to Vishap's troubles and some of the population unjustly being stuck onto it; that is until puglets have a change of heart in regards of putting effort in their clears. I'm just grateful we had a handful of people who knew/tried at least. But yes, one dragon killer can be missed now with ease and still make it, but do not expect it to be a magical solution to Vishap.

Being an Ishgardian elezen. He he he. Easy wasn't it? That said my mooncatte will be heading up north due his wandering ways, and the offerings of gil to the adventurers by Ishgardian nobles will be tempting him next to that.

Your character is rescued by a Black Mage, how does s/he respond?
Virella replied to Zelmanov's topic in RP Discussion
"Thank you but I cannot be seen with an outsider- Wait, wait. A black mage? Teach me all the things!" Her response would first be to be butthurt being saved by an outsider, then as soon she realises it is a black mage, she would question that mage until the end of days if given the chance, and probably harass said person to teach her. Virella would do about anything to see the end to the Dravanian Horde, and she wouldn't mind dabbling into black mage stuff if she had the chance. I always seen the Ishgardians are people of opportunities, grasping a hold of anything to see the Dravanian Horde defeated, especially now they are getting more desperate, Virella included. -
Some screenshots from the past few days of roleplay! From meeting a heap of dragoons To finding friends in the Whitebrim infirmary To about getting to Game of Throned-ed by your best friend because he's seduced by the Dravanian Horde To being a sad potato at your lover's home while you hide from said best friend coming to stab you once more

How to properly react to RP you don't like (or 'Punting the Puppy')
Virella replied to Seriphyn's topic in RP Discussion
Live and let live. I simply let my character turn a blind eye to it, and it gets too much, I simply let my character leave to avoid conflict. I would not PM someone about it, unless they PMed me first. -
"Why did Ishgard not join the battle of Carteneau?" Yap. So tired, oh so tired of hearing that.

Domri and Virella in the past few weeks;

balmung Another Ishgardian thread.
Virella replied to Borson Baldrak's topic in Chronicled Connections
Shameless self promotion incoming; http://ffxiv-roleplayers.com/showthread.php?tid=10848 This may be something of interest to you. We got currently about 72 characters in the LS, and people actively roleplaying in Coerthas! So ehm. Feel free to give myself, or anyone mentioned there an in game whisper if you are interested! -
After quite the break due to shoulder pains, a broken PC, no drive to draw, I finally decided to pick up my pen again.
-
Letting my characters stumble into them. Literally. Virella often walks around with her head in the clouds, of her arms littered with research/studies. So that works quite well!
-
Magic in my roleplay always seem to come back. I've got/had a few non-magical character, but. No, I need to snort my magic in roleplay, else I get bored.

After Alueaux and I spoke a bit, and myself having this idea in my mind for quite a while already we decided to toss a post about it onto the RPC, to see if there are more interested in this little idea of us! Currently, the Ishgard LS is running full and well, however, we wish to create something more specific next to that: A Linkshell dedicated to loyal, zealous Ishgardians. No heretics, no outsiders, no exiles, no "I actively question the Holy See", non of that, only the most zealous of Ishgardians. Think your typical Ishgardian NPC type of character who will be welcomed within this LS. As it stands, the inquisition and the Church will play a large part into it. It very much will be a LS dedicated to Ishgard's culture, and the perks and downfalls coming with that. Joining the LS, with the exception of the few starting members, will mostly all have to be done trough roleplay. That said, we will hand out plenty of opportunities on an OOC base to join us, yet we really wish to see your character in action first before deciding if he or she would be a good fit. Wildwood Elezen and Midlander Hyur will have our preferences, yet other races, who are loyal Ishgardian as well, will be welcome if they prove to be a capable fit. That said given the nature of the inquisition as shown in the MQS, leve quests and what not, I'm going to rule out any minors IC and OOC from joining due to myself not feeling comfortable with Ishgard's dark nature and children involved. They are still of course very welcome to join the Ishgard roleplayer's Linkshell, but not this. Any thoughts, concerns, input, anything is welcome. For now it is just a mere idea we may or may not work with in the future. That said, if people appear to be interested enough, we will see to realise this little project as soon as possible, and not wait until Heavensward so we can already get some storyline/plots going.

As some people may have noticed already, Alueaux Dunant has been so kind to run some mini events within Coerthas, what he plans to continue for a while I believe ! Doh, do you know if there's any info on these? I must've missed them somewhere but would definitely like to attend! He simply asks whoever is online in the LS, that said, if you grab him online, and give him a whisper, I'm about 100% sure he is happy enough to include you asap!
-
Oh why hello there, my fellow scummy Ishgardian friend. Glad you decided to make an account here as well. Get to roleplaying with this guy, he's an ace DM/storyteller, I promise he will not disappoint!
-
Already roleplaying in Coerthas mostly of the time!
-
Same goes for you, just shoot a message to any of us and we will toss an invite your way!
-
Yve, I got you on my friendlist on Virella, so I will surely give you a poke later on! As for you, So'larin, please keep an eye out for me as well, seeming I have the attention span of a two year old at times and completely forget about inviting people! But I shall try to do my best to try to catch you online. If I'm not there, Domri, V'aleera or Ameline are often online as well!
