Hey there, and welcome aboard to the RPC and to FFXIV! :thumbsup: There are a lot of specific, RP niches out there- typically it helps most of all to have a direction in mind for a character to at least start with so you can focus into one of those particular niches and establish a lot of connections relatively quickly. For example, there are treasure hunters, knowledge seekers, Miqo'te clans, merchant guilds, and even organized crime like the mob (might be a little partial to this one myself). It really deals with how comfortable you are with it and what tickles you the most! Regardless, best of luck! (Also, Miqo'te master race!)

Hey there, and welcome aboard to the RPC! :thumbsup: I can probably toss down on "The Corrupt" connection here- particularly with the Mischief's Coven Tavern. We accept and take jobs, make under-the-table deals, and offer a public RP venue with a shadier side. The mob that runs the tavern has their fingers in all sorts of corruption as it stands and very much falls into the lawful evil spectrum. So, if you're looking for some muscle, protection, or just want to make some criminal connections, it's probably worth the visit sometime! Although we aren't recruiting at the moment, we do have an IC LS that's open for people who want the connection and the tavern itself is open around the clock most days with a fair bit of activity. Beyond that, I'd point you in the direction of the Velvet Rose, which is a brothel FC operating out of the Goblet in Ul'dah. The Coven ran a collaborative event with them sometime back so I can vouch that they're a good quality bunch; like you, they charge real gil for services too. I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for in an FC, mind, but it might be a potential connection at least. Regardless, best of luck on the hunt!

Are there any Seeker tribal guilds? Since OP is one. Not any pure Seeker guilds that I know of. That being said, Shroudwolf does have a sizeable Seeker population- they're a bit more on the progressive side as far as tribal FC's go. They even accept non-Miqo'te to some degree, but their theme is general Miqo'te tribes.

Hey there! I homed in on the whole "looking for mafia and criminal connections"- you might want to take a gander at the Mischief's Coven Tavern, which is a front for organized crime- the mob, pretty much. Although recruitment is closed for the time being, you're welcome to visit the tavern as much as you like and make connections there! The tavern itself is a public RP spot over in Lavender Beds, Ward 12, Plot 50. Tonight is our open tavern night as well, starting at 6:00 PM CST. If you want to get a backroom meeting with one of the mob bosses, you just order a bloody mary from the bar. In any case, best of luck wherever you end up!

Hey there! Best thing I can think of for you is to get in touch with Deahfel and the Hydaelyn Protectors (linked in my signature below). They can offer work and events, and are also only a linkshell, so you can supplement it with an FC easily. It'd probably be a good fit with the alignment, I think! Hey there! One options is criminal connections with the Mischief's Coven, who can offer him work for gil and potentially access to the black market. We have a linkshell for the Coven and contractors that work for us- and since recruitment is closed currently, that's the biggest option for getting plugged in. Hey there! I'd direct you over to Deahfel and the Hydaelyn Protectors, who are a good-aligned vigilante group linkshell. They could probably offer you some good connections there even if you're not necessarily a fighter! ShroudLife might also be an alternative too, as you have a thing for going afield! Hey there! For starters I'd probably recommend ShroudLife as a good linkshell to get a start in- especially since its made for wanderers outside of the general city RP. Beyond that, there's Shroudwolf Clan and Morbolvine Clan, which are both Miqo'te-based FC's. You might be able to find a lot of kindred spirits there. There are also a good few non-racial FC's with active communities too, such as Azeyma's Oath. And if nothing else, you're certainly welcome to run into Kasi sometime too! Hey there and welcome to the RPC and to FFXIV! :thumbsup: MMO RP can be a bit of a unique challenge from the standpoint that it's a persistent-world. RP is always going on, around the clock, even when you're not there. It lends itself well to a living, breathing world, but it can also easily become overwhelming or you can get left behind if you don't participate or have as much time to. Regardless, I hope you enjoy your time here!

In addition, there are also a good number of RP FC's out there that do RP off the beaten path such as in the residential housing districts. This RP can be more difficult to map- you need to get involved with FC linkshells and start to make headway into the general community before this becomes more easy to track. You can also toss up a Making Connections post here on the RPC as a means to find targeted, niche-type RP. Regardless, best of luck on the hunt!

I play one of two sadistic mob bosses leading a group of family misfits as we antagonize the world. So, you may well at least find yourself some allies among the Mischief's Coven and the characters there, who very much tend towards evil spectrum of antagonists. We have "purchased" player slaves and indentured servants in the past and pretty much reconditioned them in various ways, and we work OOC with player do-gooders who work to do some Batman-esque things in the future. All in all? All in the name of making sure everyone has fun (which I see is also pretty much your creed- so kudos!). That said... MILK FOR THE KHORNE FLAKES

For some reason I read this and kept thinking... "Let me shooooow you the power of Talos!" Sounds like a pretty cool idea though- there are a lot of RP FC's based out of the Lavender Beds. Shroudwolf Clan was mentioned once already here by Amnesic, but there's also Morbolvine Clan, Mischief's Coven, Glowfly Exchange, and Azeyma's Oath too that I know off the top of my head. I'm also the admin for ShroudLife, though the name is a bit of a misnomer now since it focuses around wilderness RP all over Eorzea, not just in the Shroud, and generally tends to attract people who want to RP outside of the major cities.

Hey there, not a bad start! Your description immediately made me think of the Hydaelyn Protectors which is a vigilante group LS based out of a house in the Goblet. There's a link to them in my signature as well- you'll want to get in contact with Deahfel about that. The Coven also has a few independent "Batmen" that are gearing up to oppose the efforts of the mob (organized crime) from a position of secrecy too, similar to what you're suggesting here.
