Well, at least we know we're not getting a Young Jedi series of preternaturally perfect kids defeating adults. >.> Welp, guess I can stop judging others' taste. I -liked- some of those books growing up. Besides, those kids grew up to fuck up the rest of the EU, so it kind of balances out right? Like...bringing balance...to the force... Or something.

There's all kinds of good stuff in the video games, and I guess some good stuff in the books. Like, you weren't looking at Starkiller Base and going, "Wait...how the hell did they get Rakata technology?" Peeps be like, "OMG ANOTHER DEATH STAR" and I'm in the corner going, "THAT'S NO DEATH STAR, SON. THAT'S A STAR FORGE." Oh no, I admit there was a lot of good stuff. BUT you have to admit there was plenty of crap too is all I was saying.

There's speculation that Thrawn may very well show up in this movie. That would be all kinds of awesome. But please. Don't punish Star Wars fans by drawing on some of the expanded shiiiiiit that came out in the books and video games. Just the good stuff, thanks.

I'd say either Wedge (which would be pretty awesome in itself) or possibly Kyle Katarn maybe? The latter is an idea/guess another friend threw out which, while not as sensible as Wedge (for the reasons already mentioned), would still be kinda cool. Either way, still super hype for this

I can't say I've written any characters with a 'plan' to kill them off, at least not here in FF. I've definitely ended up going down that road in other MMOs/RP however. A great example was a Private Investigator I had in a Hunter (World of Darkness) game. I knew as he inched ever closer to 'slasher' (think horror movie killer) territory that he'd end himself before going that far. That said, there are a few spots in Mar's storyline (in my head anyway) that he could definitely bite it....so I guess I've made allowances for it? In RP, well...this FATE 14 story could (I'd think) have the potential to be lethal so who knows right? >_> Either way, I'd make sure RP partners knew it was coming (though I've been told I'm not allowed to kill off Mar haha) either way. I honestly have always wanted to make a character who was planned to die, and aware of this, but haven't just because I know in the instances where I've encountered a character like that seeing people NOT pull the trigger and go through with it cheapened things and I wouldn't want to be that guy. Eventually though, I'm sure I'll get around to it when I find a concept that works.

Kellach is legit the reason why I remembered/started using elusive jump while leveling DRG (thanks little signature tip!). That aside, he has a unique concept that works and...honestly I have to give props to anyone who wants to have everything at 60. You're made of sterner stuff than I am.

Not sure Mar counts as an 'ally' since he's disobeyed an order or three but I'll sign up as a backup for the other two events (Neither Contend and But the Fearful) if needed.

Thanks to Evangeline for the idea and RocketPaladin/Mikalaos for her help on this )) Momentum was both ally and enemy alike as the youth shuffled along, balancing himself heavily against his practice lance. Too much and he would surely do more than stumble, instead falling to the cool, smooth stones beneath his feet. Too little and he would come to a halt and in his state, he wasn’t entirely sure he had the strength to begin anew. Stiffening as he heard the sound of a bell tolling in the distance, Martiallais winced, already imagining the sort of punishment his father would dole out for his disobedience. He was supposed to accompany his brother, to get something of a glimpse of what it was like to walk in the elder’s shoes, those of the elite, the very ones whom kept their home safe no matter the cost. But Alfonse had moved too swiftly, and far too soon the youngest Heuloix had found himself lost. Then he was rather distracted by a familiar sight, the training grounds, and heard a commotion within. [align=left]In retrospect he could have left well enough alone, should have, but his hero's spirit wouldn't let him. There was conflict, and he had to do something about it. It would have been nice to be appreciated for it, though, and not scorned. They were really good, too.” Flashing a conspiratorial smile, he added a bit softer. “I knocked one of them out.” “Did you now?” Olivie feigned a gasp and chuckled. “I am quite sure if there is a next time, you’ll do better. The FATEs where you're stopping beast tribes from grabbing crystals or putting down people who've been tempered/drowned/etc. While in my (PERSONAL) canon of the world primals aren't summoned every other day, they do happen more we see (I'm thinking once every couple months myself - and the EX versions at that!). Also it's mentioned (somewhere, sorry don't have the quote) that it's the job of some soldiers (in the Flames I believe?) to put down those who've been tempered. So you can assume from there that it's happening at least enough to dedicate some of the already thinly stretched resources specifically to that.

Just for clarification does the % mark/"A Perfect Pest" event follow up on the "And No Man Could Bind Him" line?
