His mistress became known as the Midnight Pearl and over time her reputation grew to lay claim to one of the few princesses of the sea.

A medium RP Free Company making its home on Balmung in Final Fantasy XIV. The Mogsglaive is an association dedicated to finding work for adventurers carrying a variety of talents. With its headquarters based in the Lavender Beds, the Free Company provides a bevy of assignments while also offering lodging and offices for interested employees. Assignments include, but are not limited to: Monster hunting, supply gathering, scouting, varying schools of crafting, medical treatments, and much more. Holding affiliations with the Sawa Sanctuary & Okochi Ichizoku, we've recently begun to expand our operations in the East, offering long term assignments at the Mogsglaive Embassy House located within the Okochi sub-district of Shirogane. Nature has suffered in the recent history of Hydaelyn as such Kahless Tarikh decided to fund the Organisation known as Nature’s Oath. It’s mission is to restore the natural balance of the universe be it through direct or indirect means. Indirectly they fund efforts to rebuild farms and deforested areas and directly they run various manner of fundraising events and even tackle some issues themselves, such as cleaning corruption from areas and dealing with those who would seek to tip the balance. It calls for people of all races and backgrounds to join its efforts for a goal as lofty as this requires a varying amount of skills and knowledge and is willing to pay for such for those who do not work for free though it does not take on those of the criminal world nor those who would harm nature otherwise. OOC: Nature’s Oath is a laidback free company that is lore compliant but not lore strict. Roleplay is it’s main purpose and pretty much the only activity we offer, though that isn’t to say we do not engage in content it’s just not a focus. You can expect immersive stories as a group and various hooks for character development. Biweekly dmed events with smaller events to be done whenever people have time during the week. We are a growing FC that’s just started so we do not yet have a FC House and will need a bit of understanding from those who join! We also however take on people from other servers and utilise a cross world linkshell for such which means you do not need to be a member of the Ingame fc to join. Applications are a must.

NightRaid is a far-eastern combat oriented Free Company mainly known as a mercenary / bounty hunting group that consists of individuals coming from all walks of life to look for work, and a home. There are members such as: former royalty, outlaws, assassins, seasoned warriors, hunters, outcasts and researchers, or those looking to simply escape a heavy past. Our current company storyline is meant to engage and possibly intertwine the background of other characters within NightRaid. Members are welcomed and encouraged to explore their character’s writing, and character development as a focus.

A sect of the vast Xaela Au Ra populous, Nüür Khuudas stands apart as an Eorzea-founded culmination of various tribes, named and unnamed alike. Though Dotharli led, in essence, the tribe stands as a haven and guidepost for the wayward or longing children of the Dusk Mother and Dawn Father wanting to reclaim the blessings of their bearers, as well as those wanting to find peace among a communal whole. The tribe prides itself on keeping to the traditions of their kind as a whole, as well as adapting some rites and cultural aspects of the different tribes to make all feel part of their new home. Rites and trials are undertaken by prospective and established members of the tribe. They are used to prove one's worth and intent to the tribe and for growth both in physical and mental capacities. Ranks may also require the completion of certain rites and trials to attain. The tribe is Xaela dominant, however, Raen are known to be accepted under special circumstances. An underground organization of contract killers and specialists seeking to further it's own goals by acquiring wealth and power.

After the events that transpired during the War of the Magi, the ruthless Voidsents that were created proved too much for Eorzea to bear. What started as a band of Samurai eager to expunge the void's taint on the world has evolved through cycles to become the Oni-Kariudo. The Oni-Kariudo is a Far Eastern Private Company established within Ul'dah with the sole purpose of undertaking all things Void-related. Understood as an independent body, this group is often subcontracted to the Grand Companies and the Eorzean Alliance. With the Kagu-tsuchi acting as the force of the Company, imbued with the caring hands of their healers, the Sujin and advised by knowledgable minds of their advisors, the Kuebiko. This company tackles from a mere imp infestation to the most troublesome of Voids. The Oni-Kariudo works diligently to put down the most troublesome of creatures, whilst offering sanctuary, healing, and guidance for those who have succumb to the void's temptation. All the while offering the Public a place to indulge in the restaurant's delights.

The Order is a group of mercenaries that seek to be thorough and yet discreet in all jobs they do. The Order is seeking members that pride themselves on such discretion, loyalty, and risk-taking.

Raven Heart is an EU-based heavy roleplaying Free Company based on Balmung (NA) server. The core themes of the FC are mercenary and combat roleplay, and we offer a variety of contracts, weekly meetings, and events for our members to take part in. Furthermore, we have devised our own combat system that allows you to create abilities and personalise your character's stats to your liking. Casual RP can usually be found in our Mists FC Hall and is greatly encouraged.

Nestled on the shores of the lake in the Lavender Beds is a newly erected building that has seen quite a bit of foot traffic over the last several suns. Most prominent among them is a woman, starlight pale and garbed in red, who seems in every appearance to be guiding the strong-backed laborers and gardeners in their work. The placard, erected after the departure of the officials, bears the following words in a flowing script: “Red Lantern Bordello.” The workers now gone, the red-garbed woman seems alone - save for the shadows that slip in at night to find shelter and rest before leaving again. Ever do they come with hunched shoulders and hungry eyes, and always do they leave with lightness in their steps, their clothes and bodies washed, their hunger eased. Of late, a scattering of flyers has been seen in the city states, the gilded script of the Bordello announcing the hiring of staff as much as it holds the doors open for those who have little to nothing, offering a place of refuge in exchange for easy tasks to help the upkeep of the small building. The announcement reads as follows: “The Red Lantern Society is hiring companions of all race and genders, security of all ranges, and housing staff of all skills. We offer warm meals, comfortable lodging, and fair pay for skills-based work. Please contact Tsukiko Tanshi for more details, or visit us at the Red Lantern Bordello in the Lavender Beds, the ninth plot of the seventeenth ward. “We are also hiring independent contractors.
