Only thing to avoid is, in priority order Names done to be offensive Clearly stupid names Clearly non RP names Famous OOC names Famous fantasy names & especially anyone called Drizzt Famous IC name Names from back in lore (especially if you steal the plot) Names with daft characters I can't type Names that don't fit lore (like female Nuhn) Anyone called Nebula Names that are a squiggle Names that have little hearts for dots over "i" Writing right to left (yes you siroD) Any honorific (Lord, Magistrate, Shopkeeper) Names with no vowels ... and so on

Just to add, i170/80/90 gear is multi-class, while i200 is for a single class. So for alt classes i190 may be the best aim before 3.1

Yes it was great, I managed to spread some of our FC stuff that was probably meaningless to others (use of chocobo tranquillisers on a Roe) as well as Sumi trying to get an astralogian focus made to replace the one the Ul'dah guards took from her when she arrived. Welcome There are some players on from your "other side" of the world. You could certainly catch yesterdays PST people (I love time zones) and early morning EU folks. A good reference is [The Role-Play Handbook] a great resource. Also check out the [RP Linkskell & Free Company Lists for Balmung] for things that suit you. A Linkshell is like an in game chat channel and you can have 8, and a Free Company is like a Guild. If just one class at 60 then you are probably best spending the Law on i180 as you get it along with hunts. Do Weapon > chest/legs > head/hands/feet > accessories. You will soon be i179 (as you will still have an i170 ring) i190 can be a grind if you are after specific drops, so be prepared to grind or just accept the random aspects. i200 is capped to 450 a week, so you can plan and adjust what you get based on your i190 drops. An i200 is a good choice to go for 1st, followed by i200 ring then fill in as appropriate. If not a tank, then your armour (left side) is where the Vit is so if you need a bot more prioritise these. If doing more than one level 60 then I would gear your main reasonably well and start dropping i200 weapons and i190 on the secondary classes (this makes Alex a bit easier as you can take most drops to win). I can say that I get more than enough Law to i180 a 60 as soon as it gets there, and my i190 is starting to spill over so it is waiting for me to level the class. Above i200 and you will be running the end game stuff and probably have gotten past this stage.

I don't have a character that fits your requirements, though could offer an Au Ra visiting Ishgard as an outsider. However, there is this linkshell [ishgard RP] that is active and has characters that I think would be more suitable. .

Early days... early dates.. Sumi looks for strong Tribe male It started with an invitation to test each other in the fabled training grounds of Halatali, that yearn for new blood─perhaps to brighten the freshly scrubbed walls of its vast chambers. The two did fight against these foes suffering some wounds but winning through in the end. Then the enjoyment of tending to each others wounds. Before a cuddle and talk. To end a good date.

You can do these two ways, original style at the appropriate level though with gear it becomes less of a challenge or easy mode by syncing and going is as 60s. (except CT) There are some fun dungeons and I would highly recommend them. I tend to use them in unsynced mode for 2+ RP.

To echo some of the points made, time zone, size, type of RP would be good to know. Also check out the [RP Linkskell & Free Company Lists for Balmung] for things that suit you. Size wise I would say there is a difference in style. There are a few BIG FCs still going strong, which are good if you want carrying along. I would say the challenge there is getting lost in the crowed, there tend to already be RP groups with the FC and unless they are active on newcomer induction you can end up alone in the crowed. Smaller groups tend to rely more on the members and are often in a perpetual introduction stage. RP tends to be good between members or zero if they all RP elsewhere. These are good if you can get in while they are active and become part of the FC action.

Oh this sounds very much the sort of think I also run and RP. I'd love to be involved. I even name the RPs "The case of the ..." My cazy witch Nebula would be best, as she is quite odd and sees adventure in anything.

I tend to take an approach similar to not god modding. that is the player being healed gets to decide the effect. As healer I RP the healing I do but not the outcome, and if there is time this can be quite detailed. As the character being healed I respond to the quality of the RP healing and the overall RP. So where there is positive RP to be gained from healing in RP I will play it out, where this would disrupt RP I tend to down play it and accept some wound but carry on. For RP where healing is the focus then these can last days, with convoluted journeys, quests and such.
