Nothing wrong with it. Just decide what sort of summoning, classic or bend it a bit for flavour. Also, have a good story for your character on top of that. Build in how they learned their art along with life events etc.. Mu Au Ra, as a Tribal Shaman summons spirits. This effect/result is the same but she learned it elsewhere, so iFrit is Fire Spirit and so on.

Bumping this and providing a taster.. Sumi will be performing a one girl mini play... There is an evil Queen! Booooooo! Evil Minions up to no good... double Booooo! A Wise Old Man.. with a list! Your character/toon looks the part, I really like that look, and you worked in a Chocobo matching colour, excellent I'd suggest joining one/some of the RP ooc social Linkshells aimed at friendly places to chat and join up with other RPers. Go for it! Many people will accept whatever you want to play and rationalise it in their own way. Good RP trumps lore correctness I would say. I would make the WhiteMage something you are, rather than just play "I am a Whitemage". That way people can relate to you rather than the job/class. So aside from the Whitemage bits, what is your story, what do you love and hate, what are the good things in your past and what are the bad. What is it you are seeking now.. have a goal other than being a whitemage. Those that say you ruin their immersion should probably avoid open MMOs, we all have control of what we take from the RP and how we rationalise it. I'll say again, I value good RP interaction and story over lore strictness. Have fun.

Well it still has lots of RP going on, even with a decline from the hay-days. server still full, and even in off peak times there are people about RPing.

Alas I am on Balmung. My character, though a more Tribal Au Ra, /fc I do? did study in Sharlayan and I have some story running linked to it.

You can't delete, even editing to remove things can lead to formal warnings. There is a whole system of negative marking for those deemed to be violating the rules. For good or I'll that is the nature of things here, yet we all accept this for the continued survival of the RPC. Your only option is to take it up with a moderator.

Interesting. I await gill selling shouts with quirky o in I don't really see much gil selling noise on Balmung so it must be working.
