It would be interesting to see how this would fit with Nebula's antics.. such as Help my frog has escaped and is somewhere in this bar. "Get out of the way, can't you see I'm being chased by an angry mob!" Debt collection of forty chickens, in payment for alleviating a Lord's gout Apple stealing collecting in the dead of night, "Honest it's a witch thing" etc.. Though I tend to make these up on the fly and roll with whatever is going on.

If you want someone to talk to about the personal challenges, the darkness within and conflicts of becoming a dark knight my Witch (Nebula) has RPed this with a few people now, a little bit psycho-babble, a little bit fortune telling all wrapped up in a Witch with a fluffy tail. I have played the DKN to 60, but I wont do spoilers. I also prefer it to WAR, though I am still a PLD for life.

Seriously.. make it up, have fun. Having RPed pregnancy in the game it's okay as an extra aspect to your character. I took a few real months to progress it but it can be trouble to make it convincing rather than pregnant one day, babies the next and then on day 3 the teenager runs away. As a witch I have also performed pregnancy tests, what sex is my baby tests, cures for morning sickness, and a few other things. So involve others that are happy to join in. A word of warning, don't just play the pregnant lady.. still play your character.

It happens a lot in places that are crowded, the scrolling text makes things hard to pick out and half the folks are RPing in party chat. I'd suggest Linkshells aimed at connections and places that FCs run for RP. Here you can find smaller RP to suit yourself. When i do walk ups I find they don't respond or if they do it is very flat. What I look for is others that will adding to the RP. Keep at it, and try alternative routes if the ones you had are not working.

Welcome, I'd suggest you check out the [RP Linkskell & Free Company Lists for Balmung] for things that suit you. A Linkshell is like an in game chat channel and you can have 8, and a Free Company is like a Guild.

Oooh RP tailor .. I like your approach. It is much better to RP about something than chat in my experience. And a sky pirate too.. I may be in the need of a fast ship. I'll try catch you in game.

Nebula glances at the note, then around the Ul'dah backstreet where she stands. There is one dead body, something that looks like a mugging and children begging. She scrunches up the note and adds it to the detritus at her feet. She wanders off on her business handing a nice red apple to a begging child as she goes.

I would say I do this to a point where I never use the game spells. What I may use is the IC mechanics of drawing Aether and elements and use of a focus. Some things I think that help in RPing spell casting. In essence use it to flavour your character and don't let it dominate. 1. Don't overdo it, keep it simple.. think competent mage not "I am the god of hell fire!" 2. Let the other player interpret the effects on them. So describe the spell, and what is happening enough so they get the picture but let the other player determine how and to what degree they are affected. This works well in healing where some folks like to play being injured for a long time and others are happy for a "woosh" fix. 3. Cantrips! Have some trivial effects that let you be magical without causing problems. These could just mimic everyday things. Such as opening a bottle, sweeping the floor, sunblock, mending a rip etc.. 4. Oddness. Like (3) above but use this to bring some flavour to your character. Arcanist who turns the pages with magic, the Thaumaturge who warms his drink with a flaming finger, the Conjurer emotion compass, etc..

Lovely to RP with goes beyond just a chat and is always happy to RP. Is welcoming every newcomer to the forums too. It was a good wedding too keep it up in 2016, Nebbs will be around for the check-ups.

Just a couple of things.. 1. Summoning Mounts - Go with your imagination and bend the rules to suit, summoning your elemental horse sounds great. You are taking the mounts that exist in the system and wrapping it into your RP. Remember it is your RP people are interested in not what head cannon is going on that they never see. 2. Which path - Go with your imagination. If you are stuck for ideas I'd consider why you are even thinking of this route. Playing other people's ideas never really works in my view. So use some of the many "fleshing out" aids on the web to work out what you like and what you want to RP. Hope that helps

This has been the since.. a long time. Alternative are a room with an FC, try and find one that is released, convince someone to relinquish the plot. I expect there will be competition for released plots though.
