Try try try again, and again and expect mostly no response. Out and about.. make it clear you are an RPer.. and be prepared to take the opportunty when it comes. 1. Dress like you are IC 2. Act like it (emotes etc..) 3. Nod at people and such Also have some opening that you can use with people that look like they may be RPing. Comment on an item of clothing, the view, anything. If you want to RP at a specific time then you have to go to places where the density of RPers is higher and accept the quality is varied. I would watch a bit first to see how others do things and then try it. This is not my personal favourite as it is noisy, so maybe start in Gridania rather than Ul'dah? Events are a really goo way to meet others.

Well this is all dependant on the lore, but.. A more zen/fate based character over the top of their inherent dragon rage. More Mimbari than Spock. Maining as the mystic astrelogian, but with DK and possibly Nin as secondary. Fortunately I have not had anything to compare. But I can give hugs and RP and virtual cake. *hugs*

For me, if I see a toon I may just RP at it and see if there is any response. This can be in known RP locations but also anywhere else I bump into likely RPers. Often I get "(I'm ooc)" as a response or nothing. But often I also get an IC response and sometimes lovely RP. I realise some people are shy an also new to this, try and find a suportuve positive RP friend(s) or FC. And if you see me ... poke me, I might bite

Hrm. The problem for me is I try to get most of my pve grinding done Saturdays until Grindstone happens. More beach stuff is kewl too.. we need lots more!

Yes I found it interesting how torn my character was between being a mother and also being pulled into adventures. Family and carers were used in the background. But more fun to RP than I had expected at first, just added another layer/dimension.
