On the 19th sun of the Second Umbral Moon, The Kindred is organizing a trip to Upper La Noscea, where we will visit sights such as Poor Maids Mill, Camp Bronze Lake and of course, the Ruins of Nym! On the trip you will be lead by a guide that will tell you what there is to know about the sights to see. We will start in the west and end up in the east at camp bronze lake, where you'll get to lounge in the warm waters and rest up from all of the walking. For just a small fee you get: - One complete guided tour, with a guide lead and plenty of security to protect you and yours from the wildlife. - A packed lunch for consumption on the trip - One complimentary drink at Camp Bronze Lake - The opportunity to learn new things, see beautiful sights and meet new people! The event is open to all! I am about ready with enough stuff to tell that we can make this happen. So, if you're interested feel free to sign up/show up. The event is intended to be newbie-friendly, the zone itself is level 35-ish but with the security we'll hopefully be able to keep everyone alive, literally. I can also help with getting characters to the meeting location, since I have a 2 seater mount, I just need a bit of an heads up on it. I am still working on some of the finer details.. I am looking for someone who can join the event (On their main, an alt or an NPC character) and tell a spooky/scary story relating to Poor Maids Mill. I can share with you what I've found about the place, should it be needed. And finally, a couple of minor disclaimers: The event involves the act of telling lore from an IC point of view. I've gathered as much info as I could via the game, and reached out to some trusted friends to hear what they remember. There may be elements told which are not necessarily true, but are rumor/flair since we're all IC and that. There will also be mild spoilers relating to the Scholar/Summoner quest-line. Hope to see people there & thanks for the feedback/help/support I've received so far.

I can't sit an name people cause there's too many, but I have been surprised over several people's actual genders when browsing the RL picture thread. Both ways and all. It doesn't mean anything much to me but it's like an "Oh okay :o" kind of a moment.

I appreciate that Makyn has the same desire for rounding up numbers as I have. A shame I had to break it by going in to say this Also, very good RP, even when I am sleepy and have to bow out early.

I try to keep my characters as far away from my own personality as possible. However they are influenced by my general way of thinking.. And then I just really like red hair irl, used to have my hair colored that way but then it started falling out. I like having hair better so, today it's just Nailah that has it ^^ We might also have similar taste in men, sorta-kinda.

You were literally one of the first people I've ever rped with in this game, and I still remember that session clear as day even though it wasn't anything beyond a spot of tavern RP. I really appreciated it and I still appreciate the bouts of RP we get into, it was really fun. Don't be too hard on yourself

Never properly met in game (I think?) but seems to have some interesting characters Someday!

Not really an answer, but a suggestion: It wouldn't be too unlikely that there'd be some really old-as-heck words that used to be used a lot, but are now used so rarely that most people would look at you weirdly, or not understand it. Imagine walking up to a youngster in this day and age and address them in fancy old posh English. I would imagine magical types that have access to old-as-heck books might know some words like that, which could add some flavor to your characters language. Like old cursewords maybe? Though I'd be something you'd have to create for your character.

She is. Hands off her, though! No touching! Jokes aside, I've been friends with this one for a while and never have I been dissapointed after a session we have shared. N'jassa can be a real joy to play and the quality of her RP only improves with time. Really, try this one out. You can get a sense of how much work she puts in her RP by the length and construction of this post alone. N-not even the ears? But they're so fluffy!

This pretty much sums up how I've gone about it so far. Especially after doing some research (on a casual level, I'm not great with maths) to get a conversion rate to use for my guild, which seems to show that coughing up 60 gil for an alcoholic drink is alright. I would not trust a drunk to count 60 coins - So maybe, there would be one for 50 and one for 10. I've seen allagan pieces used in RP before, but I do not remember how they were acquired and I have not seen any lore on it either. The flavourtext states that it was minted during the allagan empire and, considering we have had a calamity and what not since, I wouldn't be inclined to think they were super common, unless a valiant effort was made to keep a lot of them safe so they could re-enter circulation.

If you roll a character on a different server, 2 days after their creation you will be able to pay for a transfer to Balmung or Gilgamesh. It's a method that worked approx two months ago and I haven't heard anything about them shutting it off. It costs money which sucks, but if you can not be online in the time-slot where Balmung/Gilgy usually opens, it may be the only way for you. ETA: Remember to keep an eye on the other transfer restrictions! Keep an eye on This Thread for Balmung, people tend to write whenever they notice it's open - judging by their post times, you will be able to get an idea of when it usually happens. Afaik, Balmung never ever opens during weekends anymore.

Banned for being a criminal mastermind Or.. Is that a lawful mastermind? I think I confused myself.

Banned because name changes are confusing! I changed it because I changed my main's name from Sastra to Nailah as a part of her story progression. However! Not everyone knows this, and those who know me only as Nailah in-game are getting totally confused about why I am also being called Sastra. So I decided to change it everywhere to Nailah so as to end the confusion. Hopefully.
