To you as user, the weapons will be pointless except for further upgrade down the line (and glamour, prestige, yadda yadda). As a matter of fact, they already are largely pointless as is, Thordan weapons are better for many classes, considering the secondary stats and unnoticeable gain in weapon damage. BUT...it's the relic. Your very own weapon. At the current rate, possibly even your child. It's special. Don't you want it? Juicy, juicy carrot? It's right there. Just gotta do a step. And another. And another. You get the idea. There's no point in getting it. The point is to make you think there's a point in getting it so you try to and stay subbed. Edit: This is purely my opinion of course. Not claiming facts. Bah, it's an opinion I share with you, at the very least. The WoW MMORPG formula may have saved this game, but it's gonna kill it, too, one day. The RP community and the relevance of appearance to RP is the only real reason I stay addicted.

2015 was a year for pessimistic people like me to thrive. I didn't spend money on one thing that I ended up not liking, possibly because I avoided the hype, and as such, got informed by reviews of those products before I went out and dropped money on them. The vast amount of my money ultimately went to Indie projects, not the AAA Industry. I'm a proud member of "House Biscuit"; I refuse to pre-order anything because of all the strings attached.

I won't hold my breath, but I won't say I'm not excited by the concept. Psychonauts was a mixed bag for me, one with incredible humor and an original premise, but with shit controls, absurd difficulty spikes, and terrible AI. It was a deeply flawed game, but the kind I was still glad to have trudged through. ...Mostly because of this amazing guy. If Psychonauts 2 does come out, I'll give it a go, and hell, if they fix all the issues with the first game, I might even be able to enjoy it properly.
