  1. Pff. No one will be able to tell the difference. http://i.imgur.com/N6l4XMs.jpg[/img] You're just afraid he'll be the most beautiful and WIN That said, I do have a lady-alt, I'll see about signing her up maybe.
  2. *Buys a ratty wig and heels* yes good
  3. Hmm. Berrod hasn't had any crushes so much as he's thought, 'would bang'...
  4. I knew it was going to be a mess, but this is delicious. I'm just going to wait a bit, all this rushing to do it on the first day when EVERYONE else is doing it never works out well for me.
  5. which is why I'm hopeful that they will be adjusting the price with this maintenance to the store. Not that I'm likely to get a copy of the Physical CE due to not having teh monehs ah well, Digital CE it is then! I'd much prefer the digital CE myself. I can't remember if the digital one grants the early access though. I hope so!
  6. My internet gave out on me right as it was about to start. It's back now but I can't log in anyway. Ah well -- I hope you guys are having a blast!
  7. You've got three and a half months, if you get started now, you'll be done in time.
  8. OH MY GOD YOU GUYS I won't be in game until later but thank you!!
  9. I always wanted those coerul print bathing trunks. I think I'll pop some gil on them when I get home.
  10. Berrod is the male version of the Wii Fit trainer in Smash. Lil' faceless buff red-headed dude just beating the shit out of everyone and calling them lazy.
  11. *adds clio's name to said list with magic marker* >.> <.< ADDED. Though, Berry HAS noticed her at the Grindstone, even if all he's done is stare at the back of her head. He does that to a lot of people. It's how he copes.
  12. Oh my goodness, so many people want to RP with my Scowlander...! I have made a list. A hit list. OF ROLEPLAY. Since I know Berry can be a bit hard to approach at times, I'll likely have him approach with something instead! beware all ye peoples
  13. 1. Your character gets judged! What stereotype do other students see them as? (Nerd, jock, etc.) Berrod's that ASSHOLE jock who bullies people around but is really actually insecure, has tons of daddy issues and just wants to learn how to love. 2. Your character gets an A+! What class(es)? Phys ED and Biology. 3. Your character fails a class. Boo! Which one(s)? LITERATURE. 4. What sorts of people gather to your character? Are they popular or a loner? He'd likely be a loner. If he does have people who gather around him, it'll likely be out of a need to avoid being bullied by being friends WITH the bully. 5. Your character goes to future career counseling! What is their ideal job!? ...he'd probably get detention for saying he wants to join the military then become a mercenary after his term of service.
  14. It's fun to yell at Warren back and forth all day at work. Almost therapeutic. He's also the most interesting Grindstone Arbiter to date!
  15. Berrod followed in Crofte's wake as politely as he could manage, though he managed a heavy scowl at Warren. It was filled with mock resentment, but bore no true ill will. It didn't last long, and he turned once more to look at the back of the Sultansworn's head -- and no lower. Unfortunately, his scowl returned at the sight of the heavily armored man. It was not meant in any overtly bad way, but it was not polite in the least. Berrod's disinterest in the fellow's luncheon could not be made more plain. Thankfully, distraction came in the form of the glasses. He gave a careful inspection of his own and murmured a note of thanks. "You're too kind, Lady Crofte. I...have been abstaining from the drink for some time, but I don't think I'm such a cad to turn down one from someone I see only very briefly and infrequently." Despite his disinterest in the armored man's lunch, the Highlander did seem to hold curiousity regarding his name. Among the many familiar forms that littered the Quicksand, this one remained alien.
  16. http://i.imgur.com/D0X1ZrX.jpg[/img] Shamelessness ahoy. This is just one of a slideshow, I call it the meat rack.
  17. Berrod scowled deeply at the article and grunted. "Who?" Caden Agron was nearby, tending to his armor in careful quiet. It was broken as he turned to look at the redhead. "Who what?" Berrod waved the paper around, then flung it away. "Some fool of a journalist decided that a Sultansworn plebian was worth an article. What a waste of print."
  18. Omg I can't even name just a few I kind of want to meet and roleplay with all of you. That's not even a joke
  19. Maybe I'm cynical, but to me this reads as: "We totally give you a lot of customization options for your female Au Ra! She doesn't have to be cute and pretty! She can be hot and sexy instead!" I have no problem with this full steam ahead
  20. To be clear "bestial" is not the word they used. So brace yourself for more cute/sexy demon/succubus. It's depressing how right you likely are. *Sweats* I'm...I'm not at all displeased by this. P-pls refer to chapter 14...
  21. I have entire chapters of smut prepared and there's nothing you can do to stop me. Also, I'm totally making my Auri dude obsessed with turkey, if it's actually a bird. If not, I'll find a lore-suitable replacement. So far, that's the ONLY thing I know about my FUTURE!AU RA
  22. Since I'm still somewhat new to MMO gaming, I'm not sure if what I've gleaned from the word 'elitist' is accurate. It speaks to me of a person who is knowledgeable, intuitive, skilled and well equipped (good PC/console/thing, as well as a good internet connection perhaps) but yet expects everyone else to operate at the same level regardless of their circumstances, talent or experience. When this expectation is not met, they either try to help others get there (to the best of both their and the other person's abilities) or mock/dismiss them for not being good enough. There's both negative and positive in there, so when I read someone calling another an elitist, I try to take note of the context and the tone of the rest of what is being said. Perhaps it is ignorance or obstinate contempt, but I find the very idea of a 'roleplay elitist' laughable to a pain in my sides. There are roleplayers who I deem good, and those I deem...not so good, but I could never look at a roleplayer and SERIOUSLY call them...elite. Nope! Those who designate themselves as such make me laugh even harder -- seriously, it cracks me up to tears.
  23. Damn. I have so much respect for that man. I've never seen another MMO producer/dev talk about their game like that. Hrgh. Yes.
