Aysun

Those of you who can't find one.. don't be discouraged! Like I said, I only found one recently thanks to a friend who said "this gurl reminds me of Aysun" - four years after I made her in 1.0... I had always just figured I'd never find one that would remotely suit her. NEVER GIVE UP!

Miss Taylor Momsen! Took me about.. well, 4+ years to find someone who I thought would work for Aysun and this girl fits the bill. Lips, eyes shape, etc. (Also sings like I'd imagine Aysun would). Would need to curl her hair though!

The Bluebird has ended up IC for me! I squeed so much about it when I got it that my friend dropped story on me in RP so I could use it IC. Her name is Kus.

It actually shows it as 10 days per line, with two days tagged onto the end. SORCERY. I must be mistaken, but I really thought it was 8 days! Hah.

You'll note the character creator has always had the moon/month broken into 8 suns/days a week, with 32 suns (I think all of them have 32?) per moon. And that when you choose a date on the Eorzean calendar they give you the Earth day as well, which doesn't always match up due to this. Best to just estimate and use the lore-friendly names when you can imo!

Aysun is still rooting for her though! Three cheers for the underdog!

I was off today. I'm one of those health care workers who helps cover 365 days a year, so I get to work a rotating weekend shift. So, my morning was about noon. Then I took a nap afternoon. God today was SO PRODUCTIVE.

Most poignant post in the thread (though it was apparently glitched). XDD I think it's kind of weird to announce this OOCly like this, when it's something that happened ICly. Seems to me a better course of action would have been that the players involved directly can talk to their friends about it in private if they need to, and allow characters to find out ICly as they come across the news in RP. But to each their own!

Personally I think the use of the name 'Eternal Bond' rather than marriage is because they are allowing same-sex couples to partake. Same-sex marriage is a trigger word for many people and by changing the name to something else they can allow players to recognize same-sex couples in game, while still avoiding calling it marriage and pissing off the people against that. Edit: Probably should have read to the end of the thread before I responded to this. OH WELL.

The hunt LS out there that I like is Bounty Hunters. It's not one you join and stay in, however. Best way to do it is go to a place where a B rank window is up and shout for an invite. Or you can just join a party finder hunt party and ask them for one. Someone usually has access to get an invite for you. Then when you're done hunting, you leave the LS.
