Yup. That is because Unchained simply removes the 25% penalty to damage when using Defiance. As such, it does not actually touch Atk Power. The problem I had with it is essentially more because my Atk Power at the time wasn't stellar.

B4B is straight damage so it would be applied after Atk Power calculations - Second Wind would not be affected. Berserk works because it's a straight increase to Atk Power - Second Wind is directly affected. If it touches Atk Power = Second Wind is buffed. I might reslot SW since it's more useful than Mantra.

I would have been VERY surprised if the obvious reference (granted Joyeuse is the least well known of the blades since it was not Roland's) to the song that gave people the friggin' name Paladin would have not been in here. Especially since Square-Enix has started to use Durandal more in various games - Bravely Default's best blade is Durandal.

Inessa's an awesome detective RPer. Hire her instead of Hildibrand if you want competence. I'm down for RPing at the Speakeasy but there was a drama bomb awhile back which led to problems and not a lot of people going there anymore, as well as a redesign that's currently either in progress or completed. It should be a much more interesting place for adventurers who want to kick off plots in Lavender Beds now.

Sorry, it was just piling onto the frustration from my last WoD run. This guy I'm complaining about WASN'T actually a pug, but rather someone who joined from a new addition to the FC I'm currently with who was just incredibly annoying. I figure I'd just gear check them and they were essentially the kind of people who should know better than to die to fucking Mortal Gaze, but sadly, do not. Oh, and ranting about the tanks not taking Cloud of Darkness aggro when you facepulled... ugh. Consolation prize? Newborn Star and the Puff of Darkness. I don't even know why I do WoD at all these days - my gear is on par with what drops in there for tanks, and I've not seen a monk piece drop ever. I'd greed caster gear but that'd waste the roll considering casters are easily found in there.

I actually wanted to Dawson's Creek cosplay Jake English for two reasons : 1) I would have zero problems showing up in his god tier outfit in public. 2) Unlike all Jake English cosplayers, I actually know how to wrestle. but I didn't and my interest is kinda waning. I like Homestuck for what it was, I'm just following for the inevitable disappointment that will be its end.

That's why unless I'm emoting something fairly specific, I always refer to that as "believes". Which, from the understanding of one of my character's culture, isn't so much aether as it is the element itself "blessing" someone. To me, it feels like if such a thing would happen it would be a rare happening enough to direct the character themselves towards one of the patron deities of that element.

I'm also curious - To me it makes sense since everything in the game touching Aether has been described as having an aspect of something with one exception which is described as strange. Unaspected Crystals, described as such : "For reasons unknown to you, this crystal has completely lost its elemental charge" Arcanists' spells are also unaspected.

I don't watch LPs. I do, however, watch a metric fuckton of speedruns. Mostly attempts or practice runs on Twitch. It started out by a streamer I followed randomly hosting Scrubathon, me sticking around and then someone mentioning Land Blitzball which is my favorite game of all time. So essentially, if I don't catch it live I don't tend to watch it unless it's a fucking awesome highlight. Or a game I really enjoy. Here's a list of people I regularly watch : BOWIEtheHERO / Gerrick1 / TheLCC are currently running Shadow Hearts series speedruns, which tend to be in the 6-7 hour mark these days. I wub that series very much okay? Highspirits has to rise up in my favorites because he doesn't give a fuck how long a speedrun of a game is, if he likes the game he will attempt it. Which is why he has the current Dragon Warrior 7 WR at 15:57:41 as well as the current Lunar 1-2 WR. bichphuongballz is just extremely entertaining in my opinion even if, in his own words, he is bad at games. He'll also typically race anyone in RPGs he practices. eLmaGus is a bit more known, but will generally host/raid a lot of people, so chances are you'll encounter a lot of up-and-coming runners. CaptClever was at AGDQ and ran Commander Keen this year - But he also runs very old school FPSes and is currently working on Prince of Persia (DOS) for SGDQ. Every sunday night he goes (at least I think he still does) through Commander Keen 1-6 + side game. Old school PC goodness. That's nowhere near the level of people I follow but yeah : Those are generally good, and they host other people you might want to watch.

He's currently making me crave an ice cream sandwich. Which kind of a compliment considering it's fucking freezing outside.

I was messed up far before the whole concept of being weak for seeking out help for mental troubles came into being. It sure didn't help me actually seek out help. Or be able to do anything with it. What I'm currently doing is like, my third attempt at managing a personality disorder.
