"Business can wait." Inessa said, her hand raised as if to show a sign of cessation or to raise her hand to greet the Lalafell. It was a rather ambiguous gesture really. "First of all, who is this man and what has he done to invoke such a brutal response?" She says, crossing her arms.

Expectations and balancing of "master fighters/mages"

If we are being realistic, a Roe would crush a lalafell in martial combat easily unless the Lalafell was using Aether to fortify and enhance the physical qualities of their body. Magic does play a roll in enhanced combat in the game and world lore. Magic can also be made into a realistic combat experience as well, despite how far fetched that sounds. -
Yeah, lol. They walked around on stumps for FE13.

I am of a mind with this, its partially the last point being the reason why I wanted to bring up the stones in the first place. If it's not declared, it should not be allowed, tbh, its your call warren. You get to decide how we beat each other up. Canon: Warren is master hand from Super Smash Bros. -

Okay then. I just initially wanted to bring that to your attention and see if there was any thinking on that part. Thanks for taking the time to respond. -

Expectations and balancing of "master fighters/mages"

I actually think a powerful character with no background or deep development in itself is ideal for development and RP. There is the argument that character is key but what about the characters with no real personality and just skill? I think they serve a roll in RP as well. Cant expect everyone to be the sociable type. Some people are just quiet and tend to only want to work or do what they are best at. I believe this personifies my main, Inessa really well. She is centrally, a work focus character designed to constantly use her skills to go about her daily life in her RP. She has no real deep personality aside from her moral viewpoints, love of black coffee and martial art's. This in itself does make her interesting as she fills a roll not many people tend to trend. The only real failing is the inability to hold any stable topic of conversation without it being related to work. Standard casual RP is a no-go, however she is a good character when it comes to plot development and work related issues. My point: Every character has a place in RP, even one that's skilled focused. ((sorry if this is worded weirdly. I'm a terrible forum poster.)) -
((sorry that it took me so long to type this post.)) Inessa awakes from her nightmare in the Highwind bridge storehouse. She had been resting there as a result of her wanderings. Her recent flood of investigation work called for a reprieve, though little did she know that the reprieve would be short lived due to the events to come. She got up and off the wall, dusting her skirt off and grabbing her longsword which was to the side and placed it on her back using the belt looped over her right shoulder. Inessa would then exit the storehouse and enter the Highwind roadway. Inessa herself was on a journey to Amdapor. She needed a sample of the Nero-toxin in order to provide and answer or possibly provide insight to the recent murders committed by the assassin and what better way to understand an assassin than to walk in his or her foot step's. She however did not expect to see the clacked figure in her dreams walking towards her. She felt the urge to draw her blade on him. Something that was beyond her reasoning as she normally would not bother people when on a self-journey, however, she felt that this person was extremely dangerous and should be put down immediately.

Welp, the internet is gone. Time to off myself, lol. Suicide joking aside, im the kind of person that doesn't mind working at all. I value the opportunity to do something productive. It is just learning is where I choke up at. See, I go to an CIT academy where we learn about Information Technology and computers in general. Most of the studying is self-paced with little structure save chapter tests and very little opportunities to actually flex our brains and doing something useful. Its a small campus. Not enough machines that would have us doing something every day but you can imagine me jumping at the first opportunity to work on a machine because it feels nice to work and fix something rather than being buried head deep in books and learning materials.

Inessa takes one look at the paper before deducing the most likely answer. She then grabs her longsword from off to the side of her office, and attaches it to the belt looping around her shoulder and waist. She goes off to see Neneji. Obviously to learn where he bought the hat as that could be the key to solving the riddle. Hours later, she arrives at the estate of Neneji. She waves down the guard's at the entrance, asking that she see Neneji in regards to his stolen property and to help forward the investigation.

((Updated the main post because there were some confusions. The attacker was the same man as before. Another woman got got in the streets.))
-
At around midnight of this eve, a loud scream was heard in one of the corridors of the Palace. When the Brass Blades and Sultansworn rushed to the incident, they found another woman, Riddled with arrow's with the assailant nowhere in sight. Detective Hara was yet again called onto the scene, where she yet again, gave the same report she gave to both Sworn and Brass officials after the body was carried off to the temple. 'Yet again, another woman was slain. Middle aged, between twenty to thirty years old, red haired and had a fair face. She was a maidservant to the Sultana or one of the numerous ones she had. When the officials got here, they gathered from eye witness report's that the attacker was a tall man robbed in complete black. The woman in question died in the same manner as the last. Shot with an arrow dipped in a lethal Nero-toxin. However, the woman was stronger than the last victim and the assailant had to shoot her two more times before she went down. All three arrow's were aimed center mass.' 'For the sake of the murdered woman, her name has been withheld at this time to avoid public panic but I believe we are dealing with a serial murderer. Both of the victims so far have had a lot of traits in common and were murdered in the same way. In public, with eye witnesses around to witness the murder and all had traits that were exactly the same as the other. I would advise that if you see any suspicious individuals, you will report them to the Sultansworn or the Brass Blades or me and that if you match the description of the victims so far then please stay in safe locations and immediately report any suspicious individuals should they begin to follow you around and whatnot.'

We must've gone to different events, because the one I went to proceeded just fine, decent turnout too. Same, not as large as last time mind you but there was enough there to make it worthwhile. I think Edda did a fairly good job all things considered. What ward did you guys go to? I was in ward 8 of the Goblet all the way up till 20 minutes out.

A courier wanders into the Brass Blade captains office. "Sir, I have a letter for you. It's from Investigator Hara. The one who takes most of the expensive job's that the Brass Blades usually offer." He says, extending to the captain her letter.
-
Inessa looks at the wanted add, with her eyes wide open at the bounty on this bastard. Of course she was wearing a mask though so nobody could see her eyes widened with amazement. She would then set the paper back down on her desk in her office, grab a piece of parchment and a feathered pen and begins to write a letter to the Captain. 'Captain Vincent, I trust you are in good health? If you look at the bottom of the letter, you will know who this is addressed from and that I have the skills needed to track the individual down without having to deal with bothersome adventurer's or sell sword's. Send me everything you have on the criminal and I will have him in a Brass Blades goal before long.' -Investigator Inessa Hara Client confidentiality guaranteed along with 100% satisfaction with the services offered and provided. All contracts and agreed prices are final. Forward payment for search fee's is expected. With that said, Inessa folds the letter and heads off to the nearest courier she could find to deliver the message for her.

ill sit out the upcoming event that is already filled up, lol. Inessa will be riding solo for a while, considering she has effectively isolated herself without allies, or doesn't need them to do her work. Either one, lol. Verad yo, is it possible to continue our RP today?

My gut says mid-may. Very early June at the very latest if they have to push back the release date.
-
I saw it was open at 6:25 am this morning. I am assuming though that is because most people were waking up/getting ready for work so the server was not crowded. Made myself an alt named 'The Courier'

Ohgodno. It's the infamous writer's block. The bane of creativity.
